  1. I was going to respond (I thought no matter what you said), that finally someone is being logical about this! We're 5-2, and we're in good shape still. But then I read this: Did you watch the game or read the stats? He did absolutely nothing but dump off the ball 10 yards to wide open receivers.
  2. Haha, why?
  3. What is wrong with you? Tied for first in the division, 5-2 after 7 games? Why do you keep doing this? Like I said, watch arena football if you can't take it.
  4. Yeah it was a safety. People tend to analyze them, by no means are we pretending it cost us the game. Exactly.
  5. My cursade? I'm just saying if that was JP, there would be like 8 threads on how he didn't throw the ball. Now you say look at the coverage? Give me a break. It was not a pretty play, he has to get out of there or do something. Porter looked like he was on a mission? TE had plenty of time to get out, dump it off, move around, look alive, etc...
  6. How did you get on ESPN News, seems sort of random to me...
  7. He was only personally responsible for 2 points scored by the dolphins actually.
  8. Who said it was?
  9. Are you a fan or what man? You're jumping off the bandwagon, but it sounds like you're jumping off the bridge. We're not playing poorly at all. This is the big leagues, you can't win em all, and there is no reason to be frustrated at a road loss to a divisional rival.
  10. I disagree. I think we're not that fantastic of a team, and he led us to a 4-0 start, won games he needed to win. Now we're going down the stretch here against our divisional opponents, and if we make it through alright, there is no reason to hate on DJ. If we make the playoffs this year, with our team, DJ will have showed me he IS a competent coach. It sounds like you're looking for something to gnaw on, because honestly, our head coach is not responsible for anything but a 5-2 record.
  11. HAHAHA Someone go find the "YAY MCGEE IS READY TO PLAY THREAD" where I said NOT to play him if he's not healthy. Everyone, I mean everyone, was like...No, play him, he'll be a benefit no matter what, blah, blah blah. That being said, very little was TM's fault as it was really him being the goat at the expense of our horrible defensive scheme.
  12. I agree, I decided your thread was more personal-directed and so I decided to give you some advice. Feel honored, not ashamed, being a Bills fan is a lot of hard work, it doesn't come easy. Clearly though, this is not a bad situation, embrace it, and don't be upset so easily at a tough loss. Look at the Superbowl days, we've seen much worse losses to bad teams.
  13. Leave jd alone, he can't take it yet, and needs to take my advice above.
  14. Barring a controversial decision to have a superbowl in Hawaii, you're probably correct.
  15. I never said I liked Fewell. I've said many times in other threads that he can't gameplan. Schonert is an upgrade from Fairchild, but who isn't. I'll give you that all day. But DJ is a Head Coach's Head Coach. He knows what he's doing, and he's not going to freak about a loss like this, and that's another reason why he has to be our man.
  16. I hope he doesn't start running south, that would certainly not be an upgrade.
  17. Because part of being a good fan is not getting too high after a win, and not getting too low after a loss. If you can't take a loss to a divisional opponent on the road, then you're probably not ready to watch anymore games this season, take the year off, pick up indoor lacrosse or something likewise meaningless and practice being a fan until you can get better. We're 5-2. How that is bad is beyond me.
  18. Yeah I attribute the safety to no one but Trent. Its your endzone man! You're losing! Show me some urgency, get rid of the ball!
  19. Very pessimistic approach on assessing Jauron. You pointed out his downside, that he's conservative. He's not trying to reinvent the wheel, and we've done play action on the goal-line, if anything blame Edwards for not audibling out, orSchonert for not giving him the authority to do so. The players want to win for Dick, he's great at making our incompetent depth players play harder, and in the end with Dick J as our coach it makes me feel more confident that our ship will sail and not sink.
  20. I don't think he was trying to be funny or clever here, maybe crayonz just doesn't think Edwards can make in the cold weather. It concerns me as well. Not to the extent of crayonz, but I see where he's going.
  21. Royal is our worst player, but McKelvin does really need to stop returning kicks. That's not something that you gradually get better at, its something you normally have your fastest rookie or second year player do because they're fast and it comes naturally. Clearly he is an awful KR, so put someone else back there. As far as calling him a DB bust, I agree, that is ridiculous.
  22. I know. I'm just displaying that I was more upset at him after that Titans game than I am now. I'm being realistic, we're not cutting him. If we didn't then, we're not now.
  23. Is it just me, or do our defensive coaches seem to come in to most games with no game plan. Not literally, but if you're going to cover Ginn the way we did (protecting against the deep ball, letting him catch underneath) when they have Chad "i can't throw more than 25 yards in the air" Pennington, that means you have no idea what you're doing. We had like deep zone coverage, and had McGee in man playing way off...It seems like a no brainier to me to cover him tight, and we had no pressure. We lost the game on our lack of offensive production, but our defense did not play this game the way they should have, and that scares me. A lot.
  24. If you're not going to cut him after he lost you a playoff opportunity two years ago against Tennessee, arguably the biggest bone-head play I've ever witnessed as a fan, there is no justification to cut him now. ...he is the least clutch player I've ever seen, he has almost no upside except from blocking, and he's really an awful player... ...still, we did not cut him after his Tennessee flop two years ago, and at this point I think its too little too late if you cut him now. It's almost irrational, but I say keep him out of the sake that if you cut him now it means you're admitting he's a joke but did nothing to change it (ie, you kept throwing him the ball late in the game...)
  25. Yeah. Franchising a back-up QB defeats the purpose of the franchise tag.
