  1. I think those are the two most overrated teams in the NFL. Steelers have a horrible offensive line, and the Redskins only got talked about because they beat the Cowboys when people still thought they were god's gift to man. Having watched each team play more than just one Monday night game, I hope for the sake of football that your wrong and that better teams will make it to the superbowl.
  2. Why are you still here? You left. Bye.
  3. I agree. And after he played "soft" early in his career, he really has picked up defensively too. I really like him, why trade when you know you're not going to get anything valuable for him? On a side note, its great to see Connolly back on the powerplay, winning face-offs, hopping back to the point, and just bringing overall talent to the team. He botched up early on ATL's first goal, but I just love the way Connolly's talent improves our team...when of course, he's healthy.
  4. I guessed the New England Patriots.
  5. People often talk in the offseason (Well, WGR does) about trading him or getting rid of him each year, but boy what a Powerplay asset that guy is.
  6. I agree. You get what you pay for, and we payed for a Tampa 2 Defense.
  7. Don't like to toot my own horn... But two bad penalties later we have a lead.
  8. A very fast pace game for sure. We're controlling the puck a lot better, their goal was a fluke combo of bad goaltending and bad back-checking by TC. We're buzzing around and I'd say expect some more goals as Atlanta will end up having to take penalties to slow us down.
  9. Thanks for your advice. I have friends at GW. My dad is making me pay for college though, and expensive private schools are out of the question. I have a friend at American, and that sounds like a cool idea to do a semester there.
  10. It really is all football. That is a truly fair assessment. I'm enrolled in the journalism department here, but at UB I'll be a political science major. I've been studying for the LSATs for about three months now (lightly), and my goal right now is to just get through UB and hop into a nice Law School program. It's funny, I went to school as the number one party school in the nation, and it made me focus more on my future career rather than fall slowly into the sad depressing world of 5 night weekends and an eventual drop-out (an all-too popular option down here).
  11. I'm actually upset that I have a less of an IQ than the average Bills fan. Only by 2 points. But still. On the bright side, I'm as smart as Peyton Manning according to that advertising spam!
  12. Awesome. I hope you laid it on him, because I went with the "educate him about Buffalo" route. I refrained from swearing, but I displayed some very well written insults geared towards his unimpressive writing style. Some back-handed comments, closing with "Who cares about Bob Ryan" really made me smile as I clicked "send".
  13. White and Little are actually having a spectacular year thus far. I've been waiting for this game all week.
  14. Haha. I normally wouldn't have said anything actually, but I have like a 99 in the class because I took french in Middle school and High school and purposefully bombed the placement exam so I could just get an easy A. It's my last semester at West Virginia University, a public school. I got in to much better, but I went there for the atmosphere (call me crazy, but wasn't I supposed to go to the school with the best tour? Man I got f*cked over on that one) and now I'll be at UB "starting over" this January. Much to my dismay, this University has been filled with nothing but ignorant students, and equally unimpressive professors. If any of your kids ever spark interest in going here, please do your best to lobby otherwise. I really wish mine had.
  15. I just sent my first hate mail, and I encourage others to do so as well. It's an exhilarating feeling, really. Being a whining ultra-sensitive fan never occurred to me before, but having seen this myself, I was sent over the edge and I must say, I'm feeling much better.
  16. At my public University my FRENCH TEACHER... attempted to start a lengthy discussion with us on how we should go out and vote...for Obama. She was wearing Obama flair and she clearly had a nice little lecture planned when I told her to remove her flair and get back to teaching. She looked at me like I was being a pest and was like, "excuse me", and I simply reminded her that her thoughts were not that of the university, and that if she enjoys her job, she should stop. Much to my dismay, she bought that, and begin teaching French again, snickering at me. Don't get me started with my Post-Civil War Executive History class, where I routinely have to refrain the teacher from his put-down of only Republican Presidents, or his outrageous praise of Democrats.
  17. Haha. That episode had it's moments. Craig was getting too annoying for me, and I'm happy that he'll take a backseat and let the boys be boys again.
  18. Least funny thread ever.
  19. Haha, I have no idea why I said San Diego. Bizarre. I watched the game too. Same goes for the Broncos, my bad.
  20. Worst Ever.
  21. You are right on. When we stop giving up the dink + dunkers we will be able to force coaches to actually gameplan against our D.
  22. No. Definitely when he used the sword of a thousand truths.
  23. I don't think San Diego has the worst defense in the NFL. Also, he lost. So if you think it's the worst D, and he lost, well then, he can't be that great.
