  1. I think in this thread your evidence is sound, and it would be quite difficult to counter many of your arguments, but if I may chime in, when did it become so blatant that Tyler Thigpen is a bad QB? In my opinion, having only watched him in the game where we scored like 56 points, he was the best player on the Chiefs. He looks mobile, has a hell of an arm, and as you said, basically threw for more TDs in 11 games than anyone since Kelly. Knowing that, where does your argument stand that it's impressive he did this with Thigpen?
  2. Again proving that Nix and his "80%" has a lot more truth to it than some, especially Jerry Sullivan, seem to think.
  3. I thought most of what you said had some merit. Then you went in support for a columnist that went on a whinny-rampage this week, and showed off his true colors. When a man actually in the football business (aged 70, and a life long member of this bizz), calls you and your city of mediocre reporting out, you take it. That's called respect. Sullivan shows no respect, is classless, and thinks for some reason that by stepping up and criticizing a GM who has not even gotten out of January of his inaugural season, all the while supporting the suspect journalism, is doing some sort of justice to the community. It's one thing to challenge a joke of a franchise by making legitimate claims, and suggesting corruption, and of course, proving it. It's a whole other animal when you whine that a GM wont confess to all the scoops you missed.
  4. As an end you mean, right? He's 6-3, 286 lbs.
  5. How can one team have three quarterbacks that Buffalo would love to have as a starter?
  6. He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German.
  7. Yeah, he probably uses the bookmark feature on his browser quite frequently.
  8. I totally agree. There is no way you can operate a business with so many burned bridges. This man is awful.
  9. You do know that John Clayton is just a nerd with a microphone, right? He knows less than you about the bills. He's probably only watched the two nationally televised games this year.
  10. We had Ralph, Levy, Jauron for a minute there.
  11. BOOO You and your optimism!
  12. I hate to say I told you so on this one, but many of you message board doctors diagnosed this is nonreturnable.
  13. I overlooked your anaylsis for two reasons. One, because I figure it will be almost impossible for our team not to improve offensively. and two, I was too preoccupied with my own little daydreaming realization: In 1999, the Bills were a very hot AFC team going into the playoffs. We had an 11-5 wildcard team that was held together by a top notch defense. -Our coach: Wade Phillips. In 1999, the Cowboys squeak into the playoffs at 8-8, under the helm of Chan Gailey. -They ran Gailey out of town because he couldn't win in the playoffs (a problem I'd love to have), and we kicked Wade out the next year because we went 8-8. It's interesting to me how over ten years later, and we've somehow swapped coaches. Stunning, actually, considering fans of both teams were satisfied with the firings of both coaches.
  14. Is it safe to say that absolutely every single person would rather have April be the coach than some guy named Chan? Was his first name a typo? Honestly though, even acknowledging our poor special teams this season, I would still accept April over Gailey.
  15. The one dude we didn't run out of town the last fifteen years.
  16. Wow. I didn't think you'd support this move KD. Interesting. So what track record of success are you referring to, exactly? Zero superbowl championships, zero BCS bowl championships, never having an offense ranked in the top 5 in the league. I don't mean to snippy, but really, I would like you to talk me into liking this guy.
  17. That's what I'm talking about. Not the logistics of whether or not it would work out that he'd be hired, but rather, would Gailey be satisfied with just the OC position. I'm leaning towards a massive YES.
  18. Yeah it's unreal. When I heard the news, I was told to guess it from someone who knew and was telling me. Their hint was: It's not someone mentioned by the media. That got my hairs rising on my back. I was excited. Surely, since the media has only been mentioning mediocre assistants this is a BIG name. Then he told me. I thought he said Garry Galley at first.
  19. I'd agree that it probably doesn't make it worse. I think though that it's inexplicable for him to be named an NFL HC. I don't care what people will try to say about the state of our franchise and whatnot, this guy probably would've accepted the HC for the UB Bulls (I'm only partially joking), and most certainly would have accepted, say the OC position at USC, Notre Dame, or any big NCAA Schools with vacant OC positions (I'm not joking at all).
  20. I'm not a master salesman, but I have a funny feeling that the negotiating skills are so bad at OBD, that they didn't realize they had a two for the price of one opportunity with this guy. Who else thinks Gailey for HC is the biggest reach since John McCargo was made a first round selection?
  21. You're a brilliant man.
  22. Is that all? Do you have a website or something where I can read more of your skits?
  23. It's pretty sad when you can't even get your own little doomsday theory dates right. You're a true believer, alright.
  24. Dean, Chef Jim, and DC Tom?
