  1. I'm calling you out on this. It's completely false. He just broke his leg. In the wide spectrum of sports injuries, its really not that severe. Sorry to ruin your hate-parade.
  2. The crowd can get so into games in Buffalo if we just have something to cheer about.
  3. "I want to introduce something to floor...its called, ya panties."
  4. Right, and just like Senator Sessions was referring to at the senate on friday, this whole "future" thing effects us now. The debt will clearly increase in the future, but as a result of this obvious fact, many businesses are making the necessary changes, and this effects us today as well.
  5. Correct. However, the President signed bills that cost a record-breaking amount of money. We're in an economic recession, and his plan is to spend. A lot. I think the President has had a grand effect on on the economy.
  6. This position couldn't possibly be any worse than it has been.
  7. Your username is quite the oxymoron.
  8. That's not true. These QB's are all very weak, and there is no "hands down" front runner.
  9. Ah Spike TV. The only place that Trent Edwards will ever be playing football on TV during the playoffs. Edit: I thoroughly enjoy that they chose Edwards to display superiority in reaction time.
  10. I noticed also that the place was pretty unresponsive during his support the troops bit. I think one person stood up.
  11. 1. I can't believe how many times he is referring to the former administration. I can't stress how pathetic this comes off. 2. Claiming that congress needs to stop being political and start being better leaders... That was one of the weirdest way to present the fact that he's angry republicans aren't on his side. If anything, good leadership is standing up for what you believe in 3. Why does Al Franken get one of the best seats in the house? Unless he camped out all night waiting for front row tix, can anyone explain to me why he is the first seated senator behind the military leaders and our supreme court justices? 4. Michelle Obama's standing ovation. I guess I didn't realize she had done that much as a first lady. Her standing ovation lasted about 4 times the length they clapped and cheered for Haiti. 5. What's with the "its certianly not good politics [to campaign for healthcare reform] bit. I actually got a little bit offended that he thought it was appropriate to make a joke over the prospect of passing legislation that will seriously effect practically all of his citizens. He seemed to make light of the economics of the bill, and he did a much worse job defending his campaign for it then I was anticipating 6. I love the dude on the blackberry in the back row. I couldn't make out who he was, but he looked prominent and was straight up texting during the state of the union.
  12. It's hardly an epidemic that little elementary school aged children are not going to be "excited" to see an old guy guest lecture their class when they might have otherwise been coloring or learning about dinosaurs. I don't know what too much vacation has to do with a child's attention span, and the fact that I would rather our Presidents not worry about silly PR spots several times throughout the year. I want to research when it became customary for Presidents to visit elementary schools like twice a month.
  13. That and the fact that the seven year old is considerably less pumped to see the president than his teacher. He just wants to have snack time, not listen to a boring old man.
  14. What exactly did he do that was a shuffle in the right direction? Did this administration not break spending records? This is an extreme analogy (but then again you called our economic crash a "slump" so I don't think you'll mind) to help you understand: Let's say there is a serial killer on the loose much like the sniper in D.C. a few years back. Let's say that he's going on his rampage, doin what serial killers do, and hasn't been caught. He then gets in contact with the police department and tells them he'll stop. He hasn't turned himself in, but he says he'll stop. Now, if I look at this and say, "holy crap, this dude's still on the loose!" am I a cynic? Is the appropriate response, "finally...a shuffle in the right direction"?
  15. I know you typed stuff after that...but come one man. Warren Buffet is one of the greatest investors of all-time. You might not share his political beliefs, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't put a lot of faith into him.
  16. I believe the real issue is that the President of the United States of America still has to make PR visits to elementary schools. If that isn't the biggest waste of time ever...
  17. You've got to be kidding me.
  18. What else is he supposed to say there?
  19. haha, i love that the jets aren't an option.
  20. Is this your list? I hope not. Whoever made it seriously did not just place vincent jackson and miles austin ahead of brandon marshall. Marshall is arguably a top 5 WR talent in the NFL.
  21. I'm sorry but, you're giving him credit for way to much here. You think the deferred to Guy's scouting to realize that Marcus Stroud was a good lineman? Really?
  22. Really? I thought it was very average.
