  1. Byrdman is awesome. But he has played Free Safety all year, which is a position on the defense conducive to big plays. Donte has started at FS 1(?) time this year. He had a pick 6 in that game. Whitner has been a victim of having to play all over the field on defense throughout his career. Bottom line. Whitner probably isn't the natural playmaker that Byrd is. However, he is still an above average safety and very good/diverse defensive starter. He hardly stinks...
  2. I must have been watching someone else during the second half of his career as a Bill.. Can you elaborate? Because honestly, I didn't think he was very good at all- hardly deserving of a pro-bowl selection...
  3. AS A ROOKIE Jairus Byrd leads the NFL in INTs (8) and has only started 6 games. Byrd also adds 34 solo tackles in this time. 2 multi INT games. But Byrd has yet to win a rookie of the week award and I have seen little talk of him being considered for Rookie of the Year. This is a travesty....
  4. EDIT** Gilbride is a Jackass. Brown stunk it up after the first few years and only made it to the pro-bowl on a mythical reputation.
  5. IMO they would be hiring Shannahan to oversee all football operations. Including not only head coaching duties but personnel decisions in conjunction with our boy Russ. That is at least my guess...
  6. Yeah never mind that 14 of those points were scored by the Titans defense.... Not to mention half of the defense is out with injuries. Brian Scott was a starting linebacker.. but yea..blame Fewell
  7. Trent is not the biggest problem of the Bills. But he has been downright bad.
  8. Did you see him play against us as a Dolphin? "Against the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, Harrington went 5-for-17 for a mere 20 yards, throwing 2 interceptions. His passer rating for the game was 0.0, the minimum possible under the complex NFL formula." - Wikipedia. Not to mention the guy has failed to find much success with 4 teams (Detroit, Miami, Atlanta and New Orleans). NO thank you.
  9. That is my guess. I'm predicting that this article is speculation (with little to no evidence) eluding to the Schottenheimer coaching duo in Buffalo. Thats right...I'm speculating about speculation!
  10. It is now 12:02 I smell BS...sprinkled with a bit of disapointment.
  11. I hope no one with this opinion (me being one of them) regarding the "Tampa 2" is lobbying for Tony Dungy to be hired...
  12. I enjoyed his Press conference much more than Dick Jaurons! Honestly, Fewell seems like a good football coach. Probably not a head coach at this juncture.
  13. I know Klopfenstein was a major bust in STL. The guy has skill. I always liked his potential. Considering what is available at the moment I think this is a solid signing.
  14. Oh really? That is really interesting then.... Fitzpatrick sucks. Edwards sucks. HAMDAN?
  15. Reports are that Fitzpatrick is starting on Sunday versus the Jaguars. I heard this announced on 1280 AM in Rochester, NY. Guess its true that Jauron and Edwards were joined at the hip...
  16. Sorry, I just disagree with you here. I think that our offense is that much worse. NO ONE is making plays. For crying out loud, we didn't score a rushing touchdown or a touchdown from the redzone[/b] until week 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't remember anything like that.... Our offensive problems do not stem from Lee Evans... He has as many TD's as our all pro FA WR.
  17. Marty is a GREAT goalie. However, anyone that would argue he is better than Hasek just plain doesn't know hockey. -for all of the awards, stats and accomplishments given in the above posts-
  18. Yeah.. How is that "someone on the other side" (A proven pro-bowl caliber WR) working out? Yeah, doesn't look like he has been able to accomplish much in this offense either... GREAT argument...
  19. TESTIFY...Right on the money.
  20. NO. Your wrong. Your statement is idiotic. A QB is the only player on an offense that typically (wildcat/gimmicks aside) touches the football on every play. A WR gets what...5 touches a game? On a good day... Common...seriously? Blaming our QB play and coaching is much more appropriate than blaming a WR....
  21. How did you quantify "deep ball"? Because to me personally, Fitz is a more attractive option because of his willingness to throw more intermediate routes (10-30 yards). I have no statistics to back it up. It just seemed to me that he is much more willing to throw such routes. BTW Edwards "deep ball" is nothing more than tossing up a lame duck in a high arc. He really does not throw a good deep ball. PS. I admire the time you put into this...
  22. "Why didn't you call me after the Cleveland game?"
  23. Winning Ugly is still winning. Offense did stink. TO is NOT the playmaker he once was. But am I the only one who enjoyed watching passes being thrown down field? Complete or incomplete, as bad as the offense was (and they improved in the second half), I found it much more enjoyable rather than watching nothing but .5 yard passes every drop back.
  24. I enjoy the 4:00 PM games because it allows me to watch the other games throughout the day and look forward to the Bills game, or get some things done on the house during the day before the game!!! If the Bills play at 1:00 and lose I am usually so angry that I can't even watch other games.
  25. I am not saying that Fitz is the answer. Merely that in my opinion Edwards (Kelly Holcolmb incarnate) is NOT the answer. Many will disagree and that is fine. I hope they are right and Trent can turn it around. Right now. I think the Bills are a better team without Trent playing.
