  1. Personally I think it is awesome. I hope the National Media jumps on this story like they did the "fire Dick" billboard. At the very least it shows that Bills fans are proactive!!!! PS. Hunter's Hope is a great cause. But I would sooner donate directly to the charity than a middle man like this. Intentions are probably noble, but you never know...
  2. 100% agree with you.
  3. You may want to heed your own advice....
  4. Career makes a lot more sense. haha. I'm still relatively impressed with the kid.
  5. That pass was beautiful. I haven't seen a Buffalo QB make a pass like that in years... This kid looks pretty sharp. Especially on that drive...7 4th Qtr comebacks this year? Thats outstanding!
  6. Maybin did play on special teams this year....
  7. I agree with you on all of your points. I would personally prefer that they get a HC with some previous experience. But if the Bills decide to go with a youth movement McDermott would be my choice. I have been very impressed with the defense that he runs in Philly.
  8. Just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone on the board a very safe and happy Christmas! Best to wishes to everyone for the New Year as well! Now... I have asked Santa for a new GM, Coach and a Hamdan jersey! Think it will all fit under my tree?
  9. I'm sorry but anyone in his position will do the same damn thing. Besides, what is the point of developing young guys when there will be wholesale changes at the end of the year? Many of these guys that you want developed will likely be dealt or released because the new regime will want "their" guys who will fit their schemes... I don't blame Fewell one bit for trying to win.
  10. -2 Just Kidding.
  11. At least I have the Buffalo Sabres to watch through the Spring. That usually gets me through to training camp.
  12. Your right. Kelly would own maybe 1% of the franchise and be the face of the ownership group. Believe it or not there is still a LOT of old Money in WNY.
  13. Agreed. ONE AND DONE!
  14. I don't think that we have anything that resembled a coherent offensive gameplan all year. Your right, I think this is a product of an inexperienced offensive coordinator being thrust into the position a couple of weeks before the season. This is what you get when you plug in a DC as a first time HC to oversee a first time OC. Poor offensive gameplan. But, exactly what type of offensive gameplan is anyone supposed to have when you are starting practice squad castoffs on the offensive line? Regardless, you are 100% right that Perry was dealt a rotten hand and is trying to prove himself to the league if not Ralph. Personally, while I would like to see what Brohm is capable of, I don't think we would see that even if he starts Sunday. He has been here a very short period, has virtually no reps in a new system and will be playing behind a swiss cheese o line. I don't see his performance being indicative of his potential or his ability. Perry is staying with the guy that has been in the system all year if he is capable of playing. I think he has been very consistent...
  15. YES!!! I have said this before. The retirement of the red endzones and the uniform change correspond to the beginning of our slide! Change the uniforms and the endzones to lift the curse.
  16. There are 2 possible reasons for this. 1. Fewell felt the offense was flat (Fitz had just missed a wide open Nelson) and wanted to see if he could get a spark. This is not an uncommon thing to do. AND/OR 2. Fitz's ankle was bothering him. (I realize he hurt it worse in the subsequent series after trent came in.) Regardless of his reasoning, he wants to continue to have Fitz start. Yes, I would say this is staying with his game plan....
  17. Isn't that precisely what he is doing? Right decision or wrong. He decided that Fitz was his guy and he is sticking with him...so really he is doing exactly what you are asking...you just don't agree with it...
  18. Those numbers are only base salary though. Maybe massive was overstating it. Regardless, it is still a large contract that would be off the Bills books...
  19. He has had a great career. You don't get to be 2nd all time team sacks by being over-rated. I will agree that he is not currently worth his contract as he has slowed some.
  20. I would actually be ok with him retiring. I realize that he has 7 sacks this year and is having an all around solid season. But he has a massive contract and this money could be allocated to other positions of need. Obviously I would prefer he decide not to retire...but I won't be devastated.
  21. Hahaha this would be hilarious.
  22. I am looking forward to the post-season. But it will come soon enough. Help me, but I still enjoy watching the Bills each and every Sunday (Pathetic or no).
