Although I have become used to it, expecting the Bills to be the pathetic excuse for an NFL Franchise that they have become, thanks to our worthless owner, I did enjoy football more this weekend compared to when the Bills are playing. I didn't curse out loud or under my breath once all day, didn't flip the bird at the TV, or have a sore neck from shaking my head. But it all starts all over again next sunday when they play one of the NFL's top teams, who will be upset after an overtime loss, and wipe up the turf with the Bills. Gonna be ugly, but then again, aren't they all? So they have set a team record with 4 consecutive games giving up at least 30 points, what is the NFL record? We might hold that before it is all said and done too.

Are we really going to let Poz become a free agent?
billsfreak replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, a LB can't be a great one with out a decent line in front of him. Look what having Ted Washinton in front of Sam Cowart did-put him in the Pro Bowl. He left here and disappeared. Ted went to Chicago and Urlacher went to the Pro Bowl, New England and Ted Brusci went from being a nobody to Pro Bowler. Behind this line, Dick Butkus would get booed during a game. Watching this team, there is nobody on the defense, or offense for that matter that you can't say that about. It is a team game, put some quality around Poz and he might be a Pro Bowler, you will never know around here. -
We had one of them by the guy that was supposedly a former Bill in the 60's, then a month or so later he was back posting? If the person who said that stuff to him got banned, why would he quit? Thin Skin maybe? I have been called a coward by a few people on this board, who just recently apologized because they realized I was correct. I am still here?

The Hank Bullough era returns to Buffalo
billsfreak replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wilson did actually offer Knox an extension, but it was either not enough, or Knox was already tired of Wilson's BS and couldn't wait to get out of town. Plus I think part of it was, he thought the team he had here had reached it's pinnacle wasn't going to get any better. -
sunday is ralph c. wilson jr.'s 92nd birthday
billsfreak replied to a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We were just sitting around talking about serial killers here at work (getting paid for it) and the thought popped in my head comparing Ralphie to Charles Manson. I am not saying Ralph is a killer of course, but being fans of this team you need alot of humor. Just think about it, neither of them actually did anything themselves, Manson had his followers kill his victims, and Ralph has had the clowns he hires kill his team. So, neither of them have gotten their hands dirty, but ultimately are responsible for the act of killing. -
Whitner finally says something that makes sense
billsfreak replied to billsfreak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, we will never know how good our secondary can be when they have to do most of the tackling also, since our front 6 or 7 can't get out of their own way. -
I have to agree, Ralph probably wouldn't know a computer if he seen one, unless it looks like a bank safe deposit box, must less be able to open an email. Ralph only wants to hear one thing-KA-CHING, KA-CHING

So we continue to purge the roster that Modrak built.....
billsfreak replied to Lv-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totally agree with everything you say, and unlike many people on this board who blame Marv Levy for bad drafts, they need to wake up as Levy was just a figure head. Modrak and the other idiots controlled the draft, the FA signings, trades, etc. Ralph only brough Levy in, because he knew how much he was like and respected among Bills fans and wanted to save face among the people that put money in his pocket, and Levy did it as a favor to an old man who employed him for a decade. -
The Hank Bullough era returns to Buffalo

No problem. We are all suffering together, just some of us had lower expectations from the beginning. -
Whitner finally says something that makes sense
billsfreak replied to billsfreak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, he might be a little disappointing for how high he was drafted, but compare him to the majority of the other first round picks this franchise has made over the past 10-12 years, suddenly he doesn't look so bad. -
One blackout and already the national media has noticed
billsfreak replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The whole purpose of the NFL's greedy blackout rule is that if you aren't going to go to the game, and there is still seats left than we aren't going to give you the option of watching it at home. In otherwords, fill the stadium first, then you can watch it from outside the stadium. Once again, put a good product on the field and you don't have to worry about that. You don't hear about Dallas being blacked out and that new facility holds more than the Ralph does. -

billsfreak replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he would put a half way decent team on the field, he could add 10K seats and it would be a sell out every week. The blackout problem isn't because of the number of seats, but the number of wins and losses. -
The Hank Bullough era returns to Buffalo
billsfreak replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I did have at least one person (Mike Oxhurtz-who also called me a coward for not betting), but like I said then, I was quite sure the Bills would be in the top 2 or 3 picks of the draft, but I still sit on sundays like every other Bills fan and hope for a victory, get frustrated by another defeat and then put a video from the 1990's in. In other words, like I said months ago, I am not going to cheer against them for money even though they are one of if not the worst teams in the NFL. -
Chan thinking of going to 4-3 defense?
billsfreak replied to Cereal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not surprising since he has changed his mind on just about every other thing that he has said since he has been here. His moronic insistence on switching to the 3-4 is a big part of the reason this defense has been struggling so much, they don't have the personnel for it. -
The Hank Bullough era returns to Buffalo
billsfreak replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No problem. I just thought that you can change coaches, GM's, but if you don't change the players, they are the ones that have to get out on the field and play. Coupled with changing to a new defense that we didn't have the right personnel for, IMO the writing was on the wall. Someday maybe we can look back at these conversations and laugh? Maybe the worst part of it this season is the team looked better under DJ than it does under Gailey. -
Name One good player move Nix / Gailey have made?
billsfreak replied to BuffaloinLA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
By the impact that this years draft is having, you certainly could think that-and that is even stretching it. Pathetic draft class so far. He was that guy on "Mod Squad" -
You are absolutely correct, but that was along time ago. Imagine if the Bills only had a couple bad seasons every 40 years or so? We only have a couple GOOD seasons every 40 years or so.

The Hank Bullough era returns to Buffalo
billsfreak replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
About 4 or 5 months ago I was referred to by yourself as a coward for even suggesting that the Bills would finish in the bottom ten in the league, but not wanting to bet against my team? Are you starting to think maybe they will be one of the worst teams in the league like I suggested? -
I say cut both the tackles at the same time, get the two for one special.

Bills Could Have Gotten More for Lynch>
billsfreak replied to BillsNYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What really confuses me is after the Bills trade Lynch to the Seahawks for a 4th round pick, Pete Carrol turns around and trade Deion Branch to the Pats for a 4th round pick. How does he get practically the same thing for Branch, a thirty something receiver with multiple knee surgeries who is a shadow of his oldself, that Nix got for a young, inexpensive workhorse running back? Basically, Carroll traded Lynch for Deion Branch. He is starting to look as much like a genius as Belicheat and the clowns we have are looking baaaaaaad! -

Whitner finally says something that makes sense
billsfreak replied to billsfreak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The lost opportunity that eats at me is watching Orakpo playing in Washington, being picked two picks after Maybin was in the 2009 draft. In 21 games, Orakpo has 16 sacks, Maybe doesn't even have 16 tackles I don't believe, much less a single sack. -
Whitner finally says something that makes sense
billsfreak replied to billsfreak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't disagree with you at all, I started this post more of a tongue in cheek thing in that he does run at the mouth at times. You are right in that he is a decent player, especially on this team, but you would expect a little more for the #8 overall pick. Is he the problem with this team? There is no one person that is "the" problem with this team, the whole organization is a mess. I like him, I just kinda played with the "Lil Donte" as I had seen it on this board quite awhile, and he has his haters on this board, just like alot of players do. Me personally, I don't see the reasoning behind the way people on this board hate certain players, like Edwards, Whitner, Poz, Evans, etc. Do I like Fitz as the QB, heck no, but I don't hate him, in fact I have met both Fitz and Whitner at camp and talked briefly with them, and both seem like stand up guys. I didn't mean this post as a slam at Whitner, it was more out of frustration with the team in agreeing with his comment, when I don't agree with alot of the things he says.
