  1. CJ has a ton of potential, but he is far from great yet. He has only touched the ball what? 19 times so far. One awesome kick return doesn't make a player great. The rest of the class so far has been a big waste, not surprising seeing who Ralph hired to run the draft.
  2. Who is it that is making you read this board? If you don't like it don't read it. How can anyone with any level of intelligence, watch this team play, see how this organization operates, how pitiful this coaching staff coaches and not be negative? I wear my Bills gear everywhere, just like I have for over 40 years, and yes I take jokes everywhere I go down here in Virginia, but I keep wearing it. My Mustang has Bills license plates on down here, like dozens of vehicles do, tons of Bills fans down here. Contrary to your belief, you can be a die hard Bills fan like myself, and still be negative-it is called looking at reality. There is nothing but negativity that comes out of One Bills Drive and Ralphie's office. If all you want to hear is positive, powder puff, I love you crap, you should go to HannahMontana.com or your local Disney Store, not here.
  3. I read this guys article, and it mirrors what myself and others have been saying over and over and over on this board almost to a Tee! Anyone using their head and not his heart can't disagree with anything this guys says. His article is so 100% accurate, they might consider hiring him as the next GM (just kidding, sarcastically). What of his 9 items can anyone argue? The answer is none of them if you don't want to look lost and relatively new to the sport of football. This organization that we love is a disfunctional mess. Ralph has hired the cheapest, unsuccessful coach and GM available, so much that he must have had to overturn a rock to find them. Spiller might be a great NFL player, but he was a luxury pick, and two-this coaching staff has absolutely no clue how to use him. Like the article says, he should have as many touches a game as he does all year so far. He is right too, in that no coach that has any success at all in the NFL wants nothing to do with coaching here, thanks to the mess that Ralph has turned this organization into. The only hope here is that cheap ass Ralph eventually hires a coach and GM on the cheap like he always has and always will and they turn out to be the next Bill Polian and Marv Levy. I have voiced my opinion on the way he has handled the Trent Edwards situtation as borderline, retarded. Not that he released him, but in three weeks time he went from the unquestioned starter, to released? This franchise has no plan, no clue, no direction mapped out, just treading mudd to make Ralph money. It really is sad, because the articles description of Bills fans is spot on too, otherwise the stands would be entirely empty, not just just blacked out on TV, which is what Ralph deserves. As a Bills fan of over 40 years, it hurts to say it, but being honest, there is no hope for this franchise.
  4. Who ever told you we have better coaching was lying to your face. Gailey has screwed up everything he has done so far and Edwards is so far over his head as D-Coordinator he is drowning. That is why we are worse.
  5. Exactly, I have learned to totally ignore his posts and just stare at his avatar. That is the long snapper's fault? He plays more than any other snapper in the league, we go 3 and out almost every series. I don't remember us losing on a bad snap, in fact that might be the only way we haven't lost since he got here.
  6. You gotta know that he will come after the Bills for one reason-A team with Wood, Levitre and Wang needs a Magic Johnson! Also, if they moved to L.A. would they by the L.A. Bills? The Lakers are named as such from their time in Minneapolis? There aren't any lakes that I am aware of in L.A.
  7. Sounds like he was giving the Bills too much credit in getting a draft right.
  8. Nobody is questioning that Nix and Gailey took over a bad team, what people are complaining about is that they are making it worse by the week. Everyone not in a coma knew the Bills weaknesses when these guys took over, and they still to this day have not addressed them. They take another running back with the #9 overall pick, when they have a former Pro Bowl RB on the roster and a RB who is coming off of a career year. They don't address the worse line in the NFL, they don't address the worst QB situation in the NFL, and still haven't. Somehow, this team, with basically the same players, especially on defense, only much more healthier than last season, is playing, somehow, much worse than they did last year. They keep talking about how the Bills fans need to be patient and let their plan play out, well news flash morons, Bills fans have been patient for over a decade, have heard this all before, had this same type of scenario of new coaches and front office, we are gonna turn it around thrown at us time and time again. There is no reason to believe that this group of clowns will be any better than any other ones since Ralph forced Wade Phillps out of town. This group they have now is going to have to change their plan and pick up the pace by 10 times what they are doing now if you want them to have a realistic chance of meeting your expectations of .500 next year and playoffs after that. The way Ralph runs this team, and if you spend any time on this board, you will know that Ralph, and justifiably so, gets blamed for this mess much more than Nix or Gailey do. The whole organization just seems like they have no clue what they are doing. Just look at the transactions since they took over-first they screw up the draft-how many are even getting playing time, much less making an impact. Next, having access to as much film from previous seasons as possible, they annoint Trent Edwards as this teams future, much better than any of the other QBs in camp (OK not saying much there), two weeks into the season he is benched, next week released-when the truth be known he looked exactly like what he did the previous two seasons, which they should have seen on film. The starting running back has changed more than the weather does, the starting #2 wide reciever is anybody's guess. I could ramble all day, but don't tell the best fans in the NFL to "Chill Out" when they have been Chilling Out for an entire generation waiting for Ralph to fix this mess he has made, and that he only keeps making worse. So you can go chill, watch this organization flounder, while us fans with a little clue want to be heard and voice our disappointment if Ralph's mess.
  9. This isn't MLB, just a normal trade deadline. Doesn't really mean anything in the NFL, and even more so when they don't know what the future for next year holds. Besides, it might be a good thing that the Bills didn't do anything, Nix, Gailey and Co. have already screwed up everything that they have had any say in.
  10. 1. Do away with the one point PAT. How often is it missed, I usually take a toilet break during the PAT. Make them go for 2 points every score. 2. Since they now have it where you can push a reciever out of bounds trying to make a catch, allow the catch with only one foot inbounds, like college. 3. Most importantly: If a team has an entire decade with no playoff appearances, the owner is required to sell his team to the highest bidder!
  11. I would rather see them give Michael Vick a 3 year free agent contract, since he has the mobility to survive behind what the Bills like to call an offensive line. Use the top pick on a franchise LT, then maybe take a chance on a young QB in the second to fourth round area. I worries me about putting a quarterback who isn't real mobile behind this line, becuase you are numbering their days on this planet when you do.
  12. What exactly are you smoking? Do the names Rob Johnson & J.P. Losman mean anything to you? They costs us first round picks too. Kolb has had 3 decent games in the NFL, that is two more than Rob Johnson had when they gave up the farm for him. With the odds likely that there will be a rookie cap next season if there is a season, it will be cheaper to sign the #1 overall pick than paying Kolb the contract that the Eagles just gave him.
  13. Buddy and Chan do, because nobody else wants them. Are you Ralphie Wilson in disguise? Now you want the fans to pay the huge salaries? Money, Money, Money!
  14. Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Ralph Wilson fired Bill Polian! Dumb Ass he was for doing it too!
  15. Fitz looks small enough that he could probably get into the Childrens Hospital without too many questions.
  16. I have to think McCintyre (or however you spell it) would get a job somewhere too.
  17. I can't stand Ray Lewis, but tell me he isn't spot on? In fact, he might be giving the Bills too much credit for being a speed bump, might be more like a paint stripe in the road, much easier to cross than a speed bump. It will be so ugly, they might need a coroner on hand, or at least half a dozen ambulances. Our pathetic offensive line will have wind burns on their skin from the defense flying past them untouched. If I was Fitzy, I might consider asking for my release, or faking an injury on the first play, better yet in pregame warmups. What will be the next game that we don't give up at least 30 points? Maybe when we play the Browns?
  18. Know way!
  19. Yea and if I would have thought that 2004 season would have been the highlight of the entire decade (and the only winning season) I might have given up back then. This time of year, they always mention that the Bills are the last team to start 0-4 and make the playoffs (with Flutie), but just think, if they could have beaten the Steelers' third stringers in the last game, the Bills would have been the last TWO teams to make the playoffs after starting 0-4. Ahhh, those were the days?
  20. If I am not mistaken, there was at least one season (1993) where each team had 2 bye weeks, really trying to stretch the season to make more $$$. As far as 1963, the AFL did suspend one week becuase of the Kennedy assasination, but the NFL went ahead and played that weekend. They were still two totally different leagues back then.
  21. I am so desperate for some excitement from the Bills, my heart says sign him. My head is having second thoughts, since it seems he has never been the same after coming back from missing pretty much an entire season. On top of that, isn't he another Lynch and only one strike away from being suspended for a whole season? Who knows, would be nice to see Nix and Co. actually make a move that might add a little to the team instead of just making moves that take away from this already talent depleted roster.
  22. If they were to trade for a QB, Kolb would get killed behind the NFL's worst O-line, and I think Vick is in the last year of his contract. Vick would make more sense if he would sign an extension, since his mobility might inable him to survive the constant pass rush, but if he won't extend, it wouldn't make any sense to trade for him for the rest of the year. But watching Nix at work, he hasn't done anything that has made much sense yet, so who knows. More than likely he would sign someone's garbage off of their practice squad (another Brohm) then expect fans to be happy because he addressed the NFL's worst QB situation.
  23. I think the 2010 draft was most likely the last one without a rookie salary cap, which is why so many players came out after last season, many who any other year would have stayed in school one more year. A new rookie cap will most likely be part of a new CBA if one is done to save next year, which will most likely happen.
  24. I have never been a Colts fan, but have always been a Peyton Manning fan, he has always been a class act, not to mention by the time he retires, probably the greatest QB ever. Polian can find them can't he? Still remember when he got criticized for not drafting Ryan Leaf first.
