I don't believe it is legal for anyone working for the organization to pay a player's fine, or at least admit they are paying it.

Who is the #1 WR in the Bills?
billsfreak replied to The Wang From Sang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not too sure what you might be missing, but I know what the Bills have been missing since Evans signed his extension-A Quarterback! Get a clue. -
Of course he got fined, why wouldn't he? Because he is on the Bills? Players have to know that they will get fined before they do something like that, if they don't they are quite dumb. I am actually surprised the fine wasn't more than it was, since they NFL would consider it a preplanned celebration, but I guess the amount reflected the fact that it was his first infraction. Let's hope he doesn't turn into another Ocho Stinko in the endzone. As Marv levy would have said "Act like you have been there before", show a little class.

Up until a few weeks ago, I have always thought of Rian Lindell as one of the top 6-8 kickers in the NFL, but he has since missed a few normally makeable kicks, costing us a game in OT and missing a short one sunday. Not to mention he missed the first PAT of his career. Hopefully, it is just a funk he is in, but if it keeps up, he may be costing himself a spot on the roster next season. Also, although still an excellent punter, it sometimes seems like Moorman has lost a little bit too, and is no longer one of the top 2-3 punters in the league.

looks like Merriman may indeed be out for the season

You obviously have me confused with someone else, Homotherobot. I don't like it when they sign rejects, I was the one (not only one obviously) who was against signing T.O., and the other garbage they have signed. So you are the same person who opens his/her trap before doing his homework. I am one of the ones who laugh at the people who want the Bills to sign every player that gets dumped. -
I am going to say it....Bills don't need a QB
billsfreak replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of those 9 interceptions, most of them have either cost us a game or could have by putting us way behind like sunday. If it wasn't for a Bengal penalty, he would have had 3 ints in the first quarter, and would have put us too far behind to catch up. -
Lee Evans to Vanilla for me !

Why would you take the best player on your roster off of the field just to prove a point to some fans? -

Just another brilliant move by this clueless front office in the short time they have been here. They would have been better off giving the million and a half or whatever it was to charity. Would expect nothing less from these bunch of Bozos that Ralphie hired. -
Do you watch the games or just the highlights on ESPN? If you watch the games then there is no need to ask the question, of course he is constantly getting double teamed, your stats prove it. Without Evans drawing double coverage, Johnson and Parrish would not have put up half the numbers they have. There is much more to football than stats, but then again anyone that knows anything about football knows that.

I am going to say it....You're nuts! So you missed the first half sunday, or the end of the Ravens and Chiefs games? The end of the Bears game? Fitz is playing with alot of heart and making the most of his abilities, but the problem is, is that is the most of his abilities, beating the 2-8 Bengals and the 2-8 Lions. I really like him, and he is fun as well as frustrating to watch, but Fitz is not the guy if we are ever going to compete in the division with New England. -
Ralph: Pay Stevie's Fine!
billsfreak replied to BigRedMarauder6's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The cheapest owner in the NFL wouldn't do it even if he could. Beside, Johnson needs to be fined, and good, maybe they can stop him from turning into another Ocho Stinko before it gets started. -

Actually, Evans did create a little separation, but it was a terrible pass, and that Int was all on Fitz, and his reaction afterwards even said so. He threw at least 3 passes sunday towards Evans, that were such bad passes, that it wouldn't have surprised me if Brohm started warming up. -

A. Lee Evans without a doubt, that is why he is getting the double teams all day and Johnson is wide open to put the numbers up. Plus, it doesn't seem that Fitz gets the ball to Evans, whenever he throws his direction, the throws are so far off the mark that is embarrassing. -

Evans would have had 5 or 6 catches if Fitz threw the ball anywhere into his vicinity. The first half, Fitz was as bad or worse than Edwards or Losman had ever been. Also, withouth Evans there getting double teamed all day, Johnson doesn't have the big games, with single coverage, that he has been having. Evans did one thing that T.O. never does, after Fitz terrible pass that was intercepted, Evans first reaction was to go after the defender and push him out of bounds, where as T.O. would just stand there with his hands up in the air whining. -
Hunt, fish, hunt some more, hang out at his various cabins in the woods. Once every few months, say something stupid so the Bills faithful won't forget he is around. Keep reminding people that he has a group together to buy the Bills (we can hope, but I will believe it when I see it). Don't get me wrong, Kelly is probably my all time favorite player, but enough is enough of his "don't draft California QBs", and other crap. I guess he doesn't realize that Bills fans won't forget what he did for this team, mainly because 100 years from now, it will still be the high point in the history of this franchise. As far as working for the team, I too believe it is just some type of ambassodor, which is appropriate, since of the two most famous Bills ever, he is the one not in jail.

Wow what a way to start your posting on this sight. Apparently they opened the gates that let the retarded morons in here. You aren't a Bills fan if you root for them to lose, plain and simple. Go post on some other site. You are 100% correct, especially as long as Ralph is the owner, no dreams are going to come true anyway.
-
I try not to tell other people what to do or think, but like I have said several times, no "Real Fan" would ever root for their team to lose for any reason what so ever. Why watch the game if you don't want "your" team to win? A couple spots up in the draft isn't as important as making good picks, which this team hasn't been able to do for the most part for over a decade, including 2010-which is attributed to the fact that Ralph hires the cheapest people available. The Colts and Patriots draft 15-25 spots after us each and every season, but year after year, their drafts are ten times better than ours.
-
Not any worse than the crap they wear now, with the different colored shoulders like the Titans introduced years ago. The white jerseys now are the worse in the entire history of this franchise.
-
Any team that is 2-7 can be beat, isn't that obvious? But you are correct, I have to laugh whenever I hear someone say this team is favored because they did this over the past 10-20 years, or this guy has this rating over this team since 2000. Nothing in the past has ever, will ever affect the outcome of a game in the current.

Not when you and the rest of the world knows that you only have backup talent-at best. The heart of a line but the skills of a, well Bills backup quarterback.

Why can't Fitz be the face of the franchise?
billsfreak replied to FightinIrishBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have you been watching the games? Fitz looks pretty good until it is crunch time and the game is on the line and then he chokes week after week. -
McNabb gets 5 year extension, $40M guaranteed

That beats a glass totally empty which we have here-everyone? Thanks again for proving my point. -
Ralph would love to cap it all off with a Lombardi Trophy-as long as he didn't have to hire a legit coaching staff, legit front office or spend any money.

Thanks for proving my point. Since 2005 the Redskins have been to the playoffs twice, we haven't even sniffed a winning record since then. I am not a Redskin fan by any stretch, but I would take Danny boy over Ralphie boy anyday of the week, at least he makes an effort to win.
