  1. I quit reading novels when I graduated high school. Oh wait, I didn't read any then either.
  2. I agree it isn't exposure of the Bills I was hoping for, but the beer drinking babe in his avatar. The Bills don't need exposure, they need wins, exposure will come on its own when they actual start winning.
  3. Maybe they should be named "Buffalo" and "Bills" as nobody as been down as much as this franchise. The way they play, maybe the Bills should be named after your dogs.
  4. What happened to real men in football? I am wondering what happened to real men in general when they are worried about another guy's hair? I would get hair plugs in my back or my ass if it meant going to bed with his wife. Is that closet door locked?
  5. I had an old dog with oversized ears who had more bones and dog toys than any of the dogs we had, but he died an old dog and never did share any of his belongings to make life better for the other dogs. Eventually they moved the dog house and all the dogs somewhere else because this old dog was too tight. I think it was just a coincindence, but that old dogs name was Ralph.
  6. The truth is, we only have one player on this team that is really playing up to Pro Bowl caliber, and that is Kyle Williams. We do have a good chance of having a few other players go to Hawaii though. My guess is Fitz will end up going since, for one, one of the quarterbacks that are clearly superior to him (Brady, Rothlisberger, Manning, Flacco) will end up in the Super Bowl so he won't play. Same situation goes for receiver, so Stevie "Stone Hands" has a decent chance too. Of course you will always have the several players voted in who have "injuries" and cancel out, which would again give our guys a better shot. I think Williams best shot at starting in the Pro Bowl is if the Ravens make it to the Super Bowl so Ngata can't play in the game. Other than those three, I would say maybe Florence and Jackson might be long shots as replacements, after two or three others have said "no." Because he is on a team that is 9-3 not 2-10 for one. Also he has played in prime time and marquee games, where you don't see Fitz play unless you are a Bills fan and have the Sunday Ticket (like myself).
  7. Not sure what you are referring to as "self hate", just being an idiot I guess. What in the following (which was my post) is anything but fact? "I am not sure if an injury is ever really a good thing, but it got him off of one of the worst 3 or 4 teams in the NFL onto the defending Super Bowl Champs, with a legit chance to get another ring."
  8. I am not sure if an injury is ever really a good thing, but it got him off of one of the worst 3 or 4 teams in the NFL onto the defending Super Bowl Champs, with a legit chance to get another ring.
  9. Don't necessarily agree with most of what you said, but you obviously never seen him in short sleeves. His arms dwarf Poz's, Ellisons to name a few. So how long have you been body building that you start to talk crap about the size of guys arms, not that that has much to do with playing linebacker. My big toe is bigger than Urlacher's arms, sure wouldn't mind having him here.
  10. Class Act. Hope he gets another Super Bowl ring-something our team will never have in most of our lifetimes.
  11. Can you blame them? The last time these two teams played it might have been one of the worst games in the history of the NFL. Derek Anderson was 2 of 17 passing and was the winning quarterback? I don't think they are showing the game in Albany because the Bengals are playing, it is because the Steelers are playing, a team which has one of if not the biggest bandwagon fanbase in the league. We might be Bills fans on here and the games are important to us, but as much as we want it to, the league doesn't revolve around the Buffalo Bills, in fact they more than likely would prefer that we didn't exist based on the product on the field for over a decade.
  12. I don't disagree with anything you said, except the QB position may be the only exception where you don't expect results right away. Many times a rookie QB (Carson Palmer for one), won't play much at all his rookie year but sit behind a vet to learn. Just about any other position though, especially in the first half of the first round should produce immediately. It is not question, the Bills have screwed up more first round picks than one cares to remember, that is just a small part of the many, many problems this team/organization has.
  13. If you give him 20 carries, there is probably just as much of a chance that he gets hurt as there is that he breaks a big one. Plus he can't block to save his life, so if he is in for a pass play he is a huge liability and will get a QB killed, especially when our line can't stop anyone.
  14. There are always a bunch of draft picks that bust, and every team is going to have their share. Just seems like the Bills are always going to have more than their share which leads to the front office. As far as Tebow is concerned, you can't really say he hasn't lived up to the bill, as nobody expected him to play much for a year or two, at least.
  15. Two years ago Brady only played a quarter or so of a game all year and they won 12 games. No doubt he is a big piece of the puzzle but he isn't as important as the system and the franchise/ownership.
  16. I totally agree, the guy that started this thread would be shaking like a pansy in the wind. He might find out who is really a pansy.
  17. Doubt he would be available, but wouldn't want him anyway unless it was for a 7th round pick or something, even then he would have to take a salary cut. Even better though, Brady Quinn maybe available, which I think still has more upside in the NFL than Tebow does. He played in an NFL type offense at Notre Dame, under center alot, and has a much stronger arm than Tebow does.
  18. [...], I just look at reality. I am not saying he is the next Jerry Rice, but he hasn't been in the best of situations for a receiver either. What, is he not productive because he doesn't score a touchdown then pull up his shirt to show some moronic writing on a t-shirt? Or walk around with words shaved into his hair? Run his mouth on talk radio or TV shows? Put retarded juvenile stuff on Twitter? Just because he is double covered, whether your horse blinders see it or not, and Fitz throws more to a different receiver doesn't mean they are more involved. Besides, what two rookie receivers are more involved? Nelson-I highly doubt it? You really should watch a different sport that maybe you can understand a little better and let your personal hatred for a player less affect your viewing of the game. You obviously don't know much about football, or you would know he is still the best offensive player on a team that doesn't have a QB or other personnel to use him. [...]
  19. It will be a very long time before we will ever really compete for the division period, much less with just the Patriots. The main reason being ownership, which in turn leads to Coaching and Personnel decisions (drafting, free agents, trading, etc.). Until there is a new person at the top of the Buffalo Bills pyramid, nothing will ever change. The old saying is 100% true in that crap rolls down hill, so if it is subpar at top everything below it is going to be supbar.
  20. Why would he go? He was probably one of the biggest threats on offense before he got hurt, he is under contract for another year at a relatively cheap price. You look at his numbers, just remember that DJ refused to use him, even had him inactive for half of the games last year. This team needs alot of help, but you can't dump every player on the team and replace them at the same time. If better talent can be had for less, where is it going to come from? It is easier said than done.
  21. Easy to predict the obvious isn't it? What is your next prediction that it will snow again in Buffalo before spring gets here? It was a wasted pick, in that even if he does turn into the supposed threat that can break one every time he touches it (one kickoff doesn't amount to every time?), it was still a luxury pick that a terrible team can't afford to make. We keep hearing how he is a threat to break one every time over and over, but are yet to see it. All we have seen so far is a undersized back, who dances more than John Travolta did in Saturday Night Fever, cannot block to save his or anyone else's life, spouts off at the mouth (or over the internet) and can't stay healthy. As a Bills fan, I really hope he turns into a Hall of Fame back, but at this point, drafting defensive help, offensive lineman or even a quarterback were much higher needs on this team, and way harder to find in later rounds. How many of the starting and successful running backs in the NFL right now were top 10 picks? How many were found in later rounds? I bet you find alot more in the later. With the state of the offensive line, we might never find out if he will make it anyway as he is likely to get killed before that ever happens. We keep filling the offensive line positions, especially LT, maybe the most critical position on an offense besides QB with undrafted rookies-there was a reason they were undrafted as we are seeing on sundays.
  22. Chan is a supposed to be some QB and Offensive genius, and it took until yesterday's game to figure that out? If so he really was scraped from the bottom of the barrel.
  23. You are 100% correct, replace Lee Evans and we are Super Bowl bound. Wow, what a clueless post. Evans hasn't had a real quarterback since Bledsoe left, check out his numbers then. The rest of the league knows what he can do, that is why he gets double teamed all the time so Fitz can throw to Stevie "Stone Hands" Johnson so he can drop game winning perfect passes. That is one thing on this site that really has to make one shake their heads, is how some people get a hatred for a player, and are blind to seeing anything they accomplish or what is around them. Evans was about the only offense we had yesterday, and that wasn't much because Fitz didn't have time to check down, and if he did he threw an interception. Get a clue and maybe you can drop this blind hatred for certain players. After the game McFumble had, I don't know how you can single out a player without singling out him first.
  24. To say Fitz isn't the total reason they lost yesterday is very accurate, but to say you don't blame him at all is way off. Fitz was terrible yesterday, yes he did take a beating, but he made several terrible throws, more than usual, and really no great throws. As for the draft, Newton is so far projected to go in the second round, in fact in one early mock draft I saw, they had Buffalo taking him. Yesterday showed that Fitz isn't the future of this team or any other that wants to win consistently, but this team is so bad, with so many weaknesses you might as well keep him around for another year and fill some of the other weakness, namely the Offensive Line, they sucked from one end to the other yesterday. They might take a flyer on Locker, as I think his stock will go back up some after the combine and the other workouts.
  25. I am not blaming everything on RW, but to say he had absolutely nothing to do with anything is ridiculous. He is the captain of this sunken ship, so ultimately everything falls on him, whether you like it or not. He can give someone a title, but it was still his checkbook, so don't kid yourself into thinking he had no say at all because of the position title he gave Donohue. That did kinda suck, but I am sure in the end he was glad he got traded, he got a Super Bowl ring if I am not mistaken.
