  1. You might wanna read my post again, because nowhere in it did I say Snyder was great? What I said was I would take him over Ralph any day of the week. I would rather have an owner who fails but gives it all he has, uses his resources ($$), and really wants to win, than an owner that makes no real effort to succeed, but is satisfied with running his franchise into the ground and has no intention of ever really giving a crap about whether they win or not if it means having to spend some of his millions to do so. Read a post before you make a stupid comment on it next time. Dr. Dickenstein, you obviously don't read all of my post, and I don't really care if you do, but you obviously weren't a fan for the brief 7 or 8 year period that we got lucky and Polian built a good team before Ralph dismantled it, otherwise you would be like myself and thousands of other Bills fans, tired of the crap that Ralph has put on the field and done to this franchise. You say I am never happy, that isn't true, but if you are happy about the way that Ralph has handled this team for the past couple decades, then you might be a fan, but you are not very intelligent. And go read the Merriman thread again, I wasn't one of the few people who didn't think the signing was a great idea, if I was then the thread on it wouldn't still be going strong almost a month later. When I snap my fingers Dickenstein, wake up out of your fantasy dreamworld and realize that Ralphy has run this organization into the ground and it won't improve until he is gone.
  2. Actually there is no possibility this time for scabs to be playing, so you scenario is irrelevant. The reason being is when they used scabs before it was a player strike, this time, if it happens, it is an owner lockout, so scabs cannot be used.
  3. I would still take dumbass Danny over Tightass Ralphy any day of the week, any week of the year. He is an idiot, but Snyder uses all his resources to try to win, he just doesn't give the right people the authority to improve his franchise. Ralph makes all his decisions on what is the cheapest way to field a team and get seats in the stands. At least the Redskins usually have some reasons to be optimistic each year because of the recent trades and/or free agent signings, Bills fans just plain know we are gonna suck year after year.
  4. I have to agree, not that I would kick them out of bed for eating an onion sandwich or anything, but compared to alot of the other squads, the Jills are not too impressive. The teams you listed all have hot squads, as do the Raiders usually and of course the Cowboys.
  5. "Dumped on us?" Nobody forced the Bills to claim him did they?
  6. You didn't need any thread on any type of website to prove that. That is more than common knowledge, that this organization is the biggest joke in the NFL, and doesn't look like it will change anytime soon.
  7. Just out of curiousity, was there anything in the email or renewal paperwork discussing the possibilities of there not being a season next year? Or will you just have to sit in your seat in an empty stadium?
  8. A guy of what stature? A "former Pro Bowler" who hasn't produced in 3 or 4 years, hasn't stayed healthy in 3 or 4 years, and is one strike away from being suspended for a year? That was the reason so many people on here justified trading Lynch, was the fact that he was one screwup away from beins suspended for a year, but so is Merriman, so how is that any different? At least Lynch could make it onto the field every week.
  9. He is just asking what most common sense people are thinking. It is a big risk, especially considering how thin our linebacking corps is now that Poz is a free agent.
  10. A C+ might be a little generous, considering how high he was drafted. The last few games of the season he Fair Caught every kick that came his way, and still fumbles some of those. He was a total disappointment, and a direct reflection on how Buddy Nix is going to run this team. Take away one kick return for a TD and Spiller might have been better served to be inactive on game days.
  11. What has Nix done that makes you happy he is making the calls? Was it drafting C.J. Spiller in the top ten picks of the draft-How did that turn out? Was it turning down a 3rd round pick for Lynch on draft day, then ignoring other teams like the Saints who wanted to give at least a 3rd round pick for him only to trade him to Seattle for a 4th round pick? Was it throwing millions at a washed-up, one strike from a year long suspension, linebacker who hasn't played a full season in about 4 or 5 years, and when he was on the field he wasn't even a slight resemblance of his oldself?
  12. You must be in a coma? The issue isn't about the health care they get while they are still playing, but the fact that 5 years after they retire, and the effects from playing multiply they have no-"Zero" health coverage. Wow? I thought I had seen clueless posts before, but that one takes the cake.
  13. I can tell you are lying because Ralph would never say "sorry" for taking your money, and would never say he is going to stop taking your money.
  14. Talk is cheap! If he wants to impress, push these billionaire owners to fork out a little of their billions for a good health care package for the players, and give a little instead of being in a permanent take mode. Plus after what 4-5 years making 10 million dollars a year, he won't be in any food stamp line by giving up his salary.
  15. Trading away the #3 pick in the draft is a million times easier said than done. It takes at least two franchises to trade such a high pick, and nowadays, teams don't want to pay the money that it requires for such a high pick, much less give up multiple picks in return. In addition, when a pick that high is traded, most of the time it is for a franchise quarterback, and there really aren't any sure picks (like a Sam Bradford) in this draft, since Luck is staying in school. And delay the turnaround of this franchise yet another season-hasn't it been long enough already?
  16. I agree, if you can't blame any of the draft disasters on him, then you can't blame the rare draft success either, right? So why exactly is he even here, much less have been here for so long. He along with Ralphy are the two common things that have been here throughout this disastrous decade plus, so keeping him and making excuses for doing so is not a good sign that things are turning around.
  17. Actually there is no cap, was none this past season and no new CBA fro next year so who knows what the cap will be?
  18. After the "Trading" for Brett Favre that is. Says who? Other than a cheap organization who is trying to sell him to some dilusional fans that keep hope that we are almost there even after a decade and a half of terrible football and an even worse run franchise.
  19. It would be the ultimate moronic move to get rid of evans, with the other receivers all being so young and inexperienced. But with the track record of this FO and the joke that it is, he probably will be gone so all the receivers will be making rookie contract wages. After all, what is most important to this franchise-$$$$$$$$$$$
  20. What's the difference between us and Green Bay? On average about 7-10 wins a year!
  21. Dont forget Sanchez wiping a booger on Brunell's jacket.
  22. I really like Fitz, but have never thought of him as a starting QB in the NFL that can lead a team into the playoffs, much less a Franchise QB. You comparing him to Caleb Hanie, just strenghtens that argument. Look the fact is, that teams win Championships, not defense, QBs, Offense, but if any single position on a team is necessary for a championship run, it is without question the QB position.
  23. Anyone remember the long time NFL GM Bobby Beathard? He had 7 teams he worked at compete in Super Bowls. Drafted several Hall of Famers (Art Monk, Darrell Green, etc.). He also drafted Ryan Leaf too, so it just proves the point that you can start this topic for just about any team in the league.
  24. Shoulda, woulda, coulda-dumb post. Hindsight is 20-20. Yes our FO has made so many mistakes over the past 12-15 years, but you could make a post about every team in the NFL with this subject.
