Amen brother. I am so sick of the people that post on here bitching about people bitching. If they don't want to read it they don't. When you have been a die hard supporting fan as long as I have and several of the people on this board have (30+ years myself), you have every right in the world to B word when the team you have loved and been so supportive of is a bumbling mess and has no chance of winning with what's going on at OBD. If these people want to sit and convince themselves that we are now a contender because we signed Ryan Fitzpatrick, but at the same time created a few more holes to go with the several we already had, good for them, but I don't live in a fantasy world.

The least they could do is spend the extra 8 million or whatever it was by playing in Canada and giving away one of our precious home games on some good free agents. Unfortuneatly it looks like it is just more cash in Ralph's pocket.

Lets see, so far in Buffalo we signed a QB who is barely a #3 QB and we already gave him the #2 job-of which is always going to start 2-4 games on this team as long as Trent Edwards is QB. We signed a career backup, and already named him the starting center. And let's not forget, the front office couldn't figure out how to file paperwork in order to complete a trade and get another free draft pick. What a stellar performance so far at OBD. You can just feel the excitement for 2009 can't you. If this keeps up, I might have to find a new hobby to keep me busy at 1:00 on sundays in the fall and save my money that I normally spend on Sunday Ticket. Go Bills!

I guess my frustration makes it tough to see my point, but I was referring to the fact that he was the best QB we could sign to be our backup, when we have a fragile starter now? He was ranked what, 21st best FA QB on the market?

It is not just the first day of free agency it is the about the 8th year in a row that we have taken a back seat to the franchises that do what they can to win and not just worry about the $$$ bottom line.

Why is everyone excited? Have you watched the last few seasons of games? Seen how impossible it is for Lee Evans to get open deep because we have no threat across the middle? Be serious.

He might not have been the best guard in the league or worth what we paid for him, but he is probably at least twice as good as whomever they are going to bring in to take his place on the line. It is all about money for this team, winning is so far down the ladder of importance that it is almost a joke. Anyone who can't see that is seriously visually impaired.

At least Detroit is out there trying hard to make a deal to improve their team. All we do is sign a quarterback that would be a #3 in the Arena League and call him our #2 QB. What an effort so far.

No need for Lee Evans to show up if this guy has to play. He can't throw the ball more than 5 or 6 yards downfield. T.J. Houshmanzah (or however you spell it), had 92 catches from him and didn't sniff 1000 yards, what does that tell you about his downfield ability?

Not bad considering that only 7 or 8 teams in the league needed QB's at all-and we got the 20th ranked one. Yahoo! Superbowl here we come.

I read alot of threads that I think, in my opinion, are worthless, so I just close them and go on to another one. Why do some people make a post just to criticize someone else's thread? Must be because thier threads are always so earth shattering important. If you don't want to read someone's posts, don't-no one has a gun to your head.

Actually we have had 4 days for quite a few years over the past decade, the day of Hall of Fame inductions, but those will run out soon, there certainly isn't anyone on the Bills since the Kelly, Levy era that will get 20 seconds of consideration.

Not to mention how to get away with being an accessory to murder.

Exactly, the Bills are the agent's whores to use them just to raise the price up when they have no intention on signing in Buffalo to begin with. This is getting quite pathetic, not to mention depressing.

Sounds like the Bills are spending the extra millions that they made from the Toronto game on bringing players in, wining and dining them and flying them back out when they don't sign. Sounds like maybe our front office isn't capable of selling this area or this team very well.

Let's hope so, but he was "Here and Happy" a couple years ago the last time he signed a contract. You just have to wonder how long he will be happy this time. Maybe if he doesn't perform at the level of his contract, the Bills can keep him out of camp until he takes a salary reduction.
