  1. I partially agree. I might say that Walker was more important, since he had to move back and forth between his spot and Peters because he was to out of shape and holding out. I would agree that Dockery might have had the best year. Anyone that is going to say that Jason Peters had a better year than Dockery, obviously didn't watch much of last season, or pay any attention to the line play. Peters was the absolute worst left tackle in the NFL last year, and all the stats in the world back up that statement.
  2. Straight up at this point, I would rather have Cutler. But when you consider what we would have to give up to get him, what the cost would be, I would rather keep Trent.
  3. And Fitzpatricks play on the field warranted a 1-3 million a year contract?
  4. J.P. was brought in to be a starter, and he was a #1 pick, so he should have made more. This loser Fitzpatrick is being brought in to back up Trent. Could be another problem on the horizon.
  5. He is a much better match in Buffalo vice Miami, even inspite of the fact he wants to play with Pennington again. Miami is looking for a #1 reciever, where as Buffalo is looking for a #2, which is what Coles is at this point in his career.
  6. Real serious, are you serious should be the real question. I can offer you $100 bucks for you car, and leave, and if you want $200 but can't find me to work out a deal, is that negotiating? I don't think so. Negotiating is when you talk back and forth, so far it has been an offer and that is it. Get a dictionary.
  7. I agree that Detroit is behind us, but I would say Cinci probably has more talent and a brighter outlook than us. Remember, with a sh*tty QB (who happens to be ours now), they had a winning record the second half of the season, with more injuries than we had. There may be a few other teams below us, but "many, many" is quite a stretch, or maybe just soothing your own psyche, and refusal to look at reality.
  8. With the exception of the Packers, the other teams you listed probably have better backups at most positions than we do starters, so alot less moves would be required.
  9. Where did u read that we were negotiating with a WR? I read we made an offer, and so far it appears he doesn't want to come to Buffalo or the offer isn't good enough, because it sure seems like he is waiting for another offer or two?
  10. We are using the same off season game plan that has been in effect for the last decade or so, and how many playoff appearances has that plan gotten us over that span? A big fat donut-"0"!
  11. I read that too. Now we just have to convince him to come here. Remember, we made Fred Taylor an offer too, and from what I read, more than what New England paid him.
  12. We filled two holes? One with a QB who is barely a #3 and he is our #2-given to him before he ever puts on a red helmet. The other a career backup lineman, already given a starting position. Like I said making more holes or making weaker than they already were, yes I believe J.P. was just as capable as Fitzpatrick, have you ever watched him? Pathetic and no experience.
  13. I was one who thought they should have changed coaches, but you make a very valid point. If the Bills don't make some major moves before training camp, I personally can't hold it against the coach if his team finishes in last place, when he by far, has the least amount of talent in the division. All the other teams in the AFC East are making moves to improve, and all we are doing is cutting players and making even more holes than we already had.
  14. That was because we already drafted the future of this franchise, the "golden boy", J.P. Losman.
  15. I completely agree. The fact that Holt is only one season away from 7 good seasons in a row have to be more than partly contributed to the Rams being so disfunctional last season. I would take him in a heartbeat if possible.
  16. Maybe Edwards and a 4th round pick, but not Edwards and Peters.
  17. Some valid points, but me personally, I am getting tired of having a team full of "developing players" and "potential" and "promising", I am ready for some players that can play "NOW". I am not so sure acquiring Coles would cut into Johnson's time, my guess is it would signal the end of Josh Reed in Buffalo, especially if James Hardy comes back healthy.
  18. I have never heard that. All the articles I read on it was that we offered a 3rd round pick (as did 1 or 2 other teams) and the Chiefs wanted more than that.
  19. James Hardy will probably start out the season on the PUP list, if he plays at all. If we do have to get rid of a receiver, I would prefer it be Jenkins but would probably be Josh Reed that would depart.
  20. Do you have insider info from Miami, perhaps friends with Parcells? He never shows his true hand.
  21. That is about as far from the obvious as you can get, and not speaking in particular about Coles. Players visit teams all the the time that they don't want to and never would play for. Their agents schedule visits to jack up the price for other teams.
  22. I think Coles would go great on the other side of Evans, but I think he would prefer Miami for a few reasons. 1. Division Champs vs. Cellar Dwellars. 2. He was the one person who spoke out against the Jets acquiring Favre and voiced his support for Pennington, he would be much more comfortable catching balls from Chad again. 3. He if from Jacksonville, FL and played at Florida State. Just some thoughts, although it would be awesome to beat the odds and bring him to Buffalo.
  23. I agree Al Davis has lost it, but the main difference between him and Ralph, is Davis still tries with all his wallet to win, something Ralph hasn't done in years.
  24. Someone help this guy, he sounds like a see and eye dog for rich Ralph.
  25. If that is enough to make you happy you are easy to please, especially since they signed Evans before the Toronto game.
