  1. Not sure why they wouldn't cut Omon? I think they are talking about moving a regular season game to Mexico each year for a few extra dollars.
  2. It doesn't matter how many good hard working fans like you renew, if they are gonna move the Bills they are gonna move them. Unfortuneatly it is the big corporate picture that they lack in Buffalo not the individual fans like yourself, Buffalo has the best blue collar fans in the NFL - by far!
  3. I personally think after last year's near record season ticket sales, there will be a bid decline in sales this year. With last years disappointing season, whoring games to Canada, non-existent off season moves except to create even more holes and a future about as bright as a dark room. Couple that with today's crappy economy and the future of ticket sales at OBD is sure to go down.
  4. That could be our problem, we aren't drafting from FSU? We have only drafted one player from FSU since 1995-Sam Cowart in 1998.
  5. I agree with you 100%. George Allen used to trade just about all of his draft picks for proven players, he didn't do to bad. Especially in todays NFL, by the time a player reaches his potential it is time for him to leave Buffalo as a Free Agent. Such as Jabari Greer, Nate Clements, Antoine Winfield, Jim Leonard, and several more. It is almost like the Bills are a farm team for much of the rest of the NFL.
  6. You are 100% correct, these are pros looking to get paid, and by visiting here and using us like a cheap whore, they can raise their value and get more from the team that they do go to.
  7. We probably have as much of an effect as whether or not it could help us win does-0%
  8. The salary cap isn't money they give to you to spend-hello? It is Ralph's money that they spend on players, the salary cap is just a limit that they could spend, not that the Bills will ever come close to that limit. I never said anything about wasting salary cap space on meals, anyone that didn't wake up out of a coma in the last day or so knows that.
  9. What do you mean, What are we suppose to do? How about make a big enough offer to keep some of them instead of feeding them and watching them sign somewhere else. Not that difficult? Other teams do it all the time if they really want someone. We are the only team that if they do go by your suggestion, brings every available free agent in to check them out and send them on their way before we try to sign them. Have you ever heard "The early bird gets the worm?" Same thing here, it isn't rocket science.
  10. The past 4 or 5 years? How about the past 11 or 12 years?
  11. That makes zero sense-why does that mean they should go for T.O.? It would be a safer bet to bring back Eric Moulds than go for the biggest *sshole in the NFL and the biggest QB killer the league has ever seen.
  12. After yesterday, I am not so sure the Bungles are below us anymore, we may have sunk lower than them after that Coles situation.
  13. Isnt this team and organization in enough shambles without bringing the QB killer here? By the 8th game, he would be slamming Trent in the media and ruining his season if not more than that. It would make more sense to bring in Michael Vick (although I wouldn't), at least he wouldn't disrupt this the team on the field and locker room like T.O. would. This FO has really screwed up this off season and this organization, and signing T.O. would be their biggest blunder yet. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO-F'in Way!
  14. I read of several players visiting OBD all day, i.e. Kevin Jones, Cato June, DeShaun Foster, the LB from KC, and others but they all left with no contracts? That is where our money is going, on plane rides, meals, etc on these players only to pay to fly them back out with no contracts in their hands.
  15. They need a good #2 receiver, they haven't had one since Peerless Price's first tour here. Marvin Harrison really has nothing left. Torry Holt wants out of St. Louis and they have been shopping him around, but have no takers because of a roster bonus. We need to do what needs to be done to get him in Buffalo. If the off season continues as it is going, the only fans that should still be at the first game of the season are the ones who wake up from a coma the last week in August, and know nothing of this embarrasing, sickening lack of effort from the FO and Ownership since the season ended.
  16. That is absolutely correct. Every time a Coles, or any other name FA signs, the best we can do is a notch lower than we could have if we had signed one of them. Alot of people on this board keep saying be patient and we will get what we need-where are we going to get it if it isn't out there? Every day that goes by and we don't fill our needs, the quality of whats left to fill them goes down hill.
  17. We are more than overdue, we are overdue on overdue. It is getting to the point that it has been so long since we have been in the playoffs, I forgot what it is like to actually have a reason other than becuase I love football to watch the playoffs. Would be real nice for a change to actually have a team to route for.
  18. Marv Levy took over in 1986 when the season was more than half over. In 1987 he took a perennial last place team and led them to 7-9. After only one full season, they won the division in 1988, you are not giving Levy the credit he deserves.
  19. If they would do something positive, maybe the attitude on here would reflect that. The FO can't get out of their own way this off season. The Bungles have long been known to be the cheapest, unknowledgeable front office in the NFL with one of the clueless and only cares about money owners-but they just out classed us, out bid us and engraved our name on the NFL's Biggest Joke Trophy.
  20. There are a bunch of people on this board who look through rose colored glasses that will disagree with me, but you hit the nail right on the head. Everyone is saying it is too much money for Coles, are they paying it-yes they are and they already have with tickets, merchandise, tv packages, etc. What good is it going to do any of us or the Bills if they save their money? The only one who will benefit is Ralph, and he has enough now.
  21. The Bills are F*CKED!. Every day we look more and more like the leagues biggest joke! This is another chapter in a sad saga for us life long Bills fans. Every time a halfway big name visits Buffalo they are just using us to raise thier cost for another team. After nearly 40 years of being a die hard I am getting closer to just saying that Toronto can have them, it sucks being irrelevant year after year.
  22. If we lose out when the Bungals are the only competition, what does that say about this organization, especially if what was in the media is true, that they wanted him bad? If it is true, we are the Joke of the league by far.
  23. Posted from Rotoworld: "All indications" are that the Bengals are nearing a deal with free agent Laveranues Coles Wednesday, according to the team's website. The move would deal a big blow to Andre Caldwell's fantasy upside. Coles is thought to be seeking nearly as much as T.J. Houshmandzadeh's contract. It's still hard to imagine the Bengals paying Coles more than Chad Ocho Cinco.
  24. Don Beebe won a Superbowl ring after he left. But seriously, if you are what 32 years old and sign a two or three year deal, it should be the end for you.
  25. I think they are just covering their rearends for the almost guaranteed Lynch suspension. I am not sure why they are looking at DeShaun Foster, his tank is empty, they can do much better than him. Kevin Jones is ok if he can stay healthy but that has been a major "if" for him lately.
