They still haven't made a signing that makes any sense. This is so out of character for this team to sign the biggest *sshole that maybe the NFL has ever seen. I guess Michael Vick is next probably, maybe that will sell a few tickets too.

No one has ever questioned T.O.'s talent on the field (other than numerous drops) or his work ethic, but this is so obviously a desperation move by the F.O. to hope to coax back all of those season tix holders that didn't renew. Team wise it may turn out to be one of the best moves we have made awhile, but more than likely it will turn out to be one of the worst moves this organization has ever made. I really hope it works out because the guy is an amazing talent, but my guess is it is going to stunt the teams growth, Trent Edwards growth, and the negatives are going to far outweight any positives he can bring to a team at 36 years old. He will only be in Buffalo one year, if he makes through one without being suspended, because if it doesn't work out they won't want him back and if he stays straight and plays up to his potential, someone else with a chance of winning will sign him. My guess is for the first 5-7 games he will be fine and produce, then someone is going to give him the Buffalo News and he is going to find out that Lee Evans has more catches and yards than he does, then all hell is going to break lose and this move is going to bite them in the butt.

I have seen alot of negative posts on here lately, in fact I have entered my share, and there are always a few people who jump all over people who enter them. I have been a Bills fan for nearly 40 years, and I don't mean for this to be a negative topic, but how do people remain so optimistic, despite the lack of production from the team, the lack of effort from the Front Office and the unwillingness to spend on Ralph Wilson's part-not to mention selling one of our home games to Canada. I would love to feel optimistic, but it gets harder and harder each year. Are people just looking through rose colored glasses or is there something to feel optimistic about that I am missing?

The big names have pretty much all been signed and the bargains are just about gone. By the time someone gives Ralph a pen to write a check with all that will be left is players no one else wants. Way to go FO, looking like the first overall pick in the 2010 draft right now.

No for a few reasons. 1. As others stated, his tackling is not his strong suit, and he isn't as big as Vincent was either. 2. Who would we play opposite McKelvin at corner, hopefully not the 2008 NFL's Biggest Free Agency Bust we just signed.

It isn' t just about spending the money, but about getting a little value for your money and your time. Look at it his way-if you like to eat out at restaurants and have the money to do it, are you going to keep going if the food tastes like sh*t? I wouldn't, I would stay home and eat. Actually my post was constructive, in that it is obvious that bringing T.O. in would hurt this team, now that is constructive isn't it? Not so sure he is a future HOF either. He has the stats but his drama will turn alot of people off that vote, it was even a big discussion to vote Lawrence Taylor in and T.O. is nowhere near the level of player that LT was. And how are "we" going to make the Bills better? Do you have $12-15 million in your pocket to play for a decent player to come in? Keep your eye on it if you do, it will end up in Ralph's pocket. T.O. tore apart an Eagles team single handedly that was just months removed from playing in the Super Bowl. He was on the most talented team in the NFL and has tore the chemistry apart on that team in Dallas. He has slammed every quarterback he has played with in the media since he played with Jeff Garcia almost a decade ago, they were all thrown under the bus and Trent would be no exception. Bringing him in would only but this team farther away from contending.

Moss, it isn't even close. T.O. puts up good numbers, but he also drops more balls than any other receiver in the league too.

From what I read, I think they are getting away from the Tampa 2 defense that we run. He appears to be another LB like Cato June that can only really be any value in that style of defense.

Everytime it is even rumored that someone might be released, or becomes a free agent or rumored to be on the trade block, within seconds people are making posts for them to come to Buffalo (Housh, Holt, Haynesworth, etc). First off, this organization isn't going to pay for big names, second off most of these players don't want to come to Buffalo. The newest one isn't even funny-T.O. to the Bills, that is the dumbest post I have seen on here yet. Hasn't Lynch been enough distraction? We have a very young QB who he would crush. Please, most of these posts are somewhat entertaining when you have nothing else to do, but the T.O. one is retarded.

What selling point are the Bills giving to these RB's that are visiting? Maybe, "you will get alot of action the first 2-4 games until our starter comes back from suspension they you will be a 3rd option"? Who is going to take that offer that has an option to play anywhere else?

Considering his age and little NFL experience, I don't think Jackson would bring in very much in a trade. His biggest value is probably as a backup just as he is here. I don't think he could really take the beating of an every down back, but he is an excellent change of pace behind a good NFL back.
