  1. Lets just hope we don't trip and fall off of the stage with this signing.
  2. That scenario would be awesome-too bad all three of those items have a snowball's chance in a microwave of happening.
  3. Wow, from the Sh*thouse to the Penthouse with one 36 year old receiver. Never saw one player that made that much difference anywhere.
  4. If they want this move to work, they need to bring in some veteran leadership to keep this locker room intact. At the present we don't have any good veteran leadership on this team.
  5. If this is your wildest dream, you aren't sleeping too well are you?
  6. Then I can see your point, the last decade or so hasn't been too exciting at OBD. For your sake I hope it works out positively.
  7. I hate to tell you this, but a 7-9 record isn't close to a worse case scenario-do you remember him in Philly? Apparently not. If interesting is having the locker room in shambles and Trent Edwards walking around on pins and needles, yea it will be interesting. So this is your first season as a Bills fan? Must be-Best Ever Receiver? I can taste my dinner coming up.
  8. You must be relatively young if this is the most attention you have ever seen this team get. You missed O.J., the Super Bowl era? This was just something that those of us holding our breath were hoping it didn't happen to us, but as our luck goes year after year, it did.
  9. No we can wait for him to be in the parking lot of the Galleria Mall with no shirt on doing pushups.
  10. I would say so. In 24 hours time, it went from the possibility of nobody signing T.O., to Rosenhaus saying by the end of next week he would sign, then in no time at all, he got him a contract making more than he would have if he was kept in Dallas? How does he do that?
  11. Do you think that because he is on the Bills now, not the 49ers, Eagles or Cowboys that he won't be himself? Fans in those cities wore rose colored glasses when he arrived too, but it didn't take them long to take them off and it won't you either. Buffalo is no different than anyone else, except that they have even less veteran leadership on this team. They got rid of all of it a couple seasons ago, i.e., Spikes, Fletcher, Vincent, etc.
  12. I don't believe T.O. has ever signed a one year contract has he? I think this is the first.
  13. Not so sure about that. Coles wouldn't have Edwards, Jauron, Evans or anyone else looking for a rope to hang themselves.
  14. If we are talking raw physical talent, T.O. probably is. If we are talking which reciever would be better for a team and help team chemistry more not to mention winning, T.O. is a distant third in this group.
  15. Moss is a head case, but he has never been in the same class as T.O. when it comes to be self absorbed. Besides, Moss has never signed with the Bills so i didn't care what he did, although I would rather have Moss any day of the year than T.O. At least Moss is quiet when he is winning, T.O. is only quiet when he is the center of attention, winning is a distant second to attention for him.
  16. Have you forgotten his short career in Philadelphia? Seems to me like he was suspended for about half a season.
  17. T.O.'s agent, Drew Rosenhaus has duped us twice now in the last 5 or 6 years. When Willis McGahee was waiting to be drafted, he had McGahee on a phone to pretend he was talking to other teams and that tricked the Bills into taking him in the first round, despite knowing he wasn't going to play for a year or so. Now, he gets the Bills to believe that other teams are interested in T.O., when in all actuallity, we were the only ones. Somehow, they got the Bills to guarantee 6.5 million for one year, when we were just bidding against ourselves, there was no one else. We could have had him for alot less. At least he duped Jerry Jones a few years ago, there was no other team that wanted him the either, and he got a $25 million deal from the Cowboys. I think this F.O. would get taken advantage of on a preschool playground, but after all the man in charge of everything was in charge of selling tickets just a couple years ago-what a jump?
  18. I for one don't think Bledsoe trade acquisition, was that bad a move. Those Bills teams didn't not win because of the offense, they put up some numbers, especially his first hear here. Bledsoe was a team player, a big time leader and someone would would never be a threat to tear apart a team in midseason, all things that you can't say about Owens. I remember watching Bledsoe at training camp, every time the horn blew, he was the first player to run from station to station setting an example. He always had a positive attitude here, and did lead us to our last and just about only winning record in recent memory. Anyone who didn't realize that when we traded for Bledsoe that he was on the downside of his prime, doesn't follow football too close. Trading for Bledsoe and signing T.O. is a bad comparison, it is apples and oranges.
  19. What have you been smoking? We go from the worst team in the division by a huge, huge margin and add one malcontent who is a walking suspension and now we can compete with the Patriots? We are no where near the Pats class yet, it will take quite a few more signings to do that. Our offense was one of the most anemic in the NFL over the past few seasons, now with one signing we have lots of weapons? Did you ever think of a career as a stand up comic? If you can't see this signing was all about money-hoping to get those thousands of season ticket holders that finally saw the light and didn't renew back, you must be legally blind.
  20. Who profits the most from this signing? Are you kidding? Of course, T.O. does.
  21. With a post like that, I think you are mistaken who is truly a loser.
  22. I recommend getting one with velcro on it, he won't be here long.
  23. He might be playing for his future, but by this time next year no matter what happens in 2009, he will be 37 years old. At that age you are most likely just hanging on not playing for a future. All of the other receivers drafted that year, 1997, which may be one of the, if not the best receiver draft ever- Moulds, Harrison, Glenn, K. Johnson, etc are all out of the league.
  24. I completely agree. I can't even think of one that comes anywhere close to this stupid.
  25. Gonna take alot more than him, even if he has be best year of his career and keeps his mouth shut.
