If Lynch is Suspended for 4 games, what now?

Assuming you are talking about me, since I started this post, only an idiot would make a post like this. -
Now that the dust has settled on the T.O. pick up
billsfreak replied to macaroni's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As more dust settles even more people will begin seeing the light of day and the negative possibiilties of this signing. Sure it was nothing more than a tactic to sell the lost season tickets from last season. But I have been against this move from the day that it was being talked about on these boards, maybe 3 or 4 days before it happened. I would never question his physical abilities, but he has destroyed his last seasons of all 3 teams he as played on before Buffalo, so why would we be different? Every penny of his money is guaranteed, so he has nothing monetarily to lose if he acts up and throws Trent or DJ under the bus, like he will if he is here long enough. I am with every true Bills fan out there, hoping this move is the piece we need to become competitive again, but I will have the skin color as Barney the Dinosaur holding my breath every time Trent doesn't go his way or over/under throws him. I will be routing for him and cheering him on because of the jersey and the Buffalo on his helmet not because of who he is, because he is a self-centered *ss, but anything he does won't surprise me even a little bit. -
Now that the Bills have T.O., to go with Edwards, Evans, Poz, Mitchell, Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson, etc. Why wouldn't the Bills be favored to go to the Superbowl? Seems obvious to me.

Jets trying to acquire Cutler- bad news for the division
billsfreak replied to Willis990's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our pathetic offense also scored 50 points on their even more pathetic defense. It wasn't all Cutlers fault we beat their *sses. -
Same story every year over the past 15 years. The Bills FO should sit back and see how an effective FO works and watch the Patriots. They don't break the bank every year on FA's, but they do get the ones that fit their needs. As much as I don't like the Patriots, that franchise is a well oiled machine and is what every franchise models to be (ok, maybe not every franchise-some like Buffalo just spin their wheels in the mud). Not only do they get the mid level FA's they need, they actually act like they have a clue on draft day. Maybe we can give them Peters and our FO for their FO? OK, I am waking up, that dream is over.

Jets trying to acquire Cutler- bad news for the division
billsfreak replied to Willis990's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be more of what has been going on since the 2008 season ended, the 3 other teams in the AFC East getting better while we decline and create more holes than we are filling. If the Jets were to get Cutler, and with the unknown status of Brady's knee, he may be the best QB in the division (obviously not if Brady is back 100%). The poster that says he is a 3 game wonder, and the Jets wouldn't make the Playoffs with him if they didn't with Favre, needs to look closer. At this stage of their careers, Cutler is far better than Favre. The Denver defense did nothing to help Cutler, even less than Buffalo's defense did for Edwards. He is a Pro Bowl caliber QB without any question. -
It isn't at work that you get razzled, read the national media. This is a team that couldn't even get the paperwork straight to complete a trade and get an extra draft pick for Dockery. This is the team that gave up a franchise for J.P. Losman and Rob Johnson. This is the team that hasn't been to the playoffs since 1999-longest in the NFL. This is the team that since Levy has left has changed coaches every 3 years for what 16 years now? This is the team that if they do pay Peters anywhere close to what he wants, that will eat up for the most part the rest of the cap space, and then when he plays like he did last year, will be another 7-9 season at best. Shall I go one or do you get my point? So no it isn't me that is the Laughingstock, I am just a realist who has had his heart ripped out by the franchise that I have loved for over 40 years. If you can't see any of this through your overly optimistic point of view, maybe we have a new laughingstock here.

I would prefer to say neither, but since we have to choose one, I would take Jennings also.

Reading articles on the arrest and the car smelling like pot, put two and two together. It doesn't take any imagination, much less a vivid. It is idiots like you that make this board interesting I guess. If you did everything that he did, would you still be sitting here typing on TBD? I doubt it, if so only at recess while you were in striped clothes behind bars. My guess is if you were a Carolina Panther fan, you would still be defending Rae Carruth also.
-
7-9 again if we are lucky, we don't even have a complete offensive line yet.
-
Anyone with any clue knows that a good team is built through all avenues, not just the draft. Especially a team that drafts as pathetic as we do.

If you mean never having been busted for having an illegal loaded gun, while smoking weed less than a year after running a lady over in my expensive SUV and taking off without giving a sh-- about the law or the lady, then refusing to talk to police for weeks as being Holier than Thou, than yep thats me!
-
If what you are sayng is correct, what a big disappointment this Bills are again. They signed all unknowns, mostly career backups and one malcontent aging star, who has as much of a chance of ripping the team apart as he does helping it. I hope it isn't true, but if it is, it only furthers the fact that we are the laughing stock of the NFL.
-
I forgave him last year when he ran a lady over and took off from the scene, an act that anyone of us would have done jail time for. So, NO I dont forgive him, I don't give forgiveness out like candy on Halloween, especially when they don't deserve it.

Not unless he can play LB!

A proposal for league realignment

Good post dude, at least there is one realist on these boards. -
A proposal for league realignment
billsfreak replied to keepthefaith's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dude, are you unemployed or what? Is this all you have to do with your time? I am so sure the NFL is going to restructure their divisional alignment so it will be easier for the Bills to get to the Superbowl, and make Derek Fine a star? -
I sure hope so, if they don't and this is there plan to fix the LB corps, brace yourself for another dismal defensive year.
-
With his size, would Ellison be thought of for a second as a potential starter at LB anywhere else?
-
Yes, and they played it so well!
-
Not a chance unless Lynch gets in trouble again.
-
I don't know that anyone can say if someone is better than Oman or not, he only had what? 3 carries last year. I think and have thought Lynch is going to get 4 games, although when I mentioned that yesterday I got jumped on by about a dozen wishful thinkers who are looking through Rose colored glasses, and pretty much told me I was an idiot, and he was only gonna get 1 or 2 games. A gun charge is not something that the commissioner is going to take lightly, especially when it follows a hit and run charge by less than a year. I really think we might be in trouble at the RB position if Lynch is out for 4 games, it may put us in an 0-4 of 1-3 hole early, depending on who we play.
-
Why don't they just fire him now then, if they aren't going to get him any playoff caliber players?
-
Of all the LB's they brought in for interviews, they sign the worst? Go figure, my guess is he was the cheapest $$$$$
