  1. Sorry, i should have read all the posts before replying. Seems like everyone else already caught on to the fact he was an outside linebacker.
  2. Maybe i'm wrong, but wasn't Paup an outside linebacker? on the left side i believe.
  3. Ya they do. they look just fine.
  4. I am one of the few Hard Core Bills fans who are not at the game. I will surely be reading up here while watching the game. You lucky fans. You loyal fans. Have a great time at the game!!!
  5. I'm from Cali. I'de be there if i could. but obligations keep me here. GO BILLS!!!!
  6. I meant that in the future, in the long run, it seems like the Bills would like Bell to be able to become their starting LT. Who know's if he'll be playing LT in the next game.
  7. This is how the Bills are projecting them for next year and in the future (if D Bell pans out). I'm curious to see how Bell does tonight. Walker must be happier being back at RT (at least for this game). This is major trial by fire for Demetrius. I'm crossing my fingers and my toes hoping Bell will do at least an adequate job. I'm sure he will make some big mistakes but hey this is the best way for him to learn and quickly. I'm excited to see him play LT tonight. I'm just not excited about the prospect of TE getting his bell rung. If we're going to progress fast, we have to take calculated risks. I'm surprised Jauron is going this route since he's so conservative. I hope it pans out tho
  8. Well stated. I agree with your post 100%. Wood definitely has the potential to make the players around him better. He has what it takes to become a leader. He's the kind of leader our 0-line needs. Let's hope he is the 2nd coming of Kent Hull. I sure hope he is.
  9. My brother and I would ALWAYS yell out BRUUUCE whenever he made a big play. Always. He's always been a part of our vocabulary. I guess maybe we're too obsessed with the Bills. Oh well.
  10. I haven't seen the vid yet. But I hope he didn't leave out Phil Hansen. He was Bruce's other bookend.
  11. Jeff George anyone? He's 41, but he's still in good shape and still has an awesome arm. Definitely not a leader, but can he be any worse than Fitz? I doubt it. Comments?
  12. Well said. This is how it should be if Fred Jackson plays beyond what Lynch has shown us last year. If Freddy plays beyond expectations then lets hope that the Bills FO doesn't give Lynch the nod due to where he was drafted and due to salary. I'm hoping Freddy does an exceptional job. And if he does, then I'm also hoping ML is man enough to take a back seat and let Freddy do his thing. After all, ML put himself in this situation and gave Freddy the chance to showcase his skills. As a poster said earlier (sorry for not recalling which poster) Stay with the hot hand. All this is assuming Freddy lights it up ofcourse Off topic, but yes flying abilities and lasers would def push for a pay raise
  13. Your post is music to my ears.
  14. I agree. I don't mind the press under appreciating LE anyway. I plan on drafting him in our fantasy league this year. This way he will be under the radar and ranked lower than he should be. Everyone always laughs when I draft him. He will drop low and he'll be a steal. This year I hope to make them all eat their words.
  15. When the Bills passed on Eric Steinbach, and then again passed on Nick Mangold, I was pretty much banging my head against the wall like no other. And we all know how they have turned out.
  16. Ok. They are not necessarily "out of position". i spoke too hastily on that aspect.
  17. No one at all likes how inexperienced this line is and how out of position they are. BUT did we have any decent LONG term alternatives for success? We'll see how this goes. We have to start somewhere. Bringing in veteran help in the past has not worked out.
  18. I'm sure Levitre and Wood get a lot of ribbing for this as it is in camp. They might as well make t-shirts with sum sort of humor poking fun at themselves. lol Hey it could be a fan fav.
  19. I'm glad i'm not the only other one who noticed this too. Chris Brown has to be careful with his wording. I cannot blame him for it. What he said is true tho. Even tho it is a bit vague.
  20. If Jauron, Turk and the O-line coach take into account that all other teams will take advantage of our new guys, then maybe we'll be prepared. And the coaches BETTER do what it takes to prepare and minimize any mistakes the O-line will make. I wish the best for Jauron cause he is a good guy. But if he can't get us past the hump then he deserves to be replaced. I've coached and I know what is expected of a coach. He better pull his weight. And Turk needs to pull out all the stops with the no huddle. There is absolutely no reason to hold back on offense considering the talent we have at our disposal. We should do what the O-line can handle. Conservative O is out the window at this point. Let if fly.
  21. Yes Exactly! It doesn't mean the same thing will happen with our new rookies, but it shows it can happen nevertheless! Plus Green Bay's guards were drafted in later rounds than Andy and Woody.
  22. Awesome post btw. cracked me up. I agree with you.
  23. I just wanted to get more discussion about our new O-line. For better or for worse it happened. It would be great if they "jell" early this year and do great. But in all probability it might not happen until the 2nd half of the season. Long term stability and dominance is what i'm looking for. If Dick's main goal was to try and save his job, he would have tried to get veteran talent right away. I think for the Bill's long term success he went about it the right way when it comes to bringing in new linemen. Berate me if u wish, but that's how i see it. Dick may lose his job in the process, but he's doing what is right for the 0-line long term.
  24. Good points. I'm just being optimistic about our new guys.
