  1. It was a point of time left on the clock and points behind. A balance of the situation needed to be properly taken into account. Jauran (I don't know how) failed to figure that: 1. Our Defense was tired as hell. 2. If our O didn't convert on this 4th and 1 (or half yard) then when? (when we have less time to score?) 3. NO was starting to move the ball. Keep them off the field. When we are in a position like this time is our enemy. So pull out all the stops. Punting in this situation (as another poster stated) is like putting up the white flag. Our team responded accordingly. Always going to be a Loyal Bills Fan.
  2. As a former coach and player...i wouldn't think of condoning a player (TO) to unleash his sentiments on this game and the coaching. But really, what else would it take to open some eyes? We fans weren't even in the game and we know how bad of a call that punt was. What do you think the players are thinking? They are not stupid. Most of them probably agree with the majority of us. They know we should have gone for it. I am not gonna tear DJ down cause i'm not like that. But he really really Needs to WAKE UP! *the most frustrated Bills fan in Cali ever at the moment*
  3. Jauron has coached the team a lot better in the first two games of the season than in the past. It shows that he really is adapting and learning which is great. But today with the punting call... what a bone head move... I cannot fathom his logic on that one. Maybe he's learning slower than I thought. I've always wished DJ the best and have wanted him to succeed. But honestly, what kind of call was that??? *wonders what the players are thinking of this in the locker room right now*
  4. I agree with you 100%. I cannot have stated it better.
  5. You go for it. Show what we're made of. Start to form a positive identity for the team. Perform calculated risks. If our team won't risk it when it needs to, then we're in for a long season. Play to win, not to keep from losing. that's my 2 cents. Always play smart and aggressively.
  6. Our D did an incredible job. And if our O had sustained longer drives, NO would have had less time to score points. Prolly less points scored by them. Our O was just very very disappointing today.
  7. Jauron better not try and put a good spin on this game in his press interview. There is no positive spin to be put forth. (well i will say the D did do well for 3 quarters. i'll admit that) But everything else just pretty much blew chunks.
  8. TO better go off about this game. Because something needs to be shook up. This game is just unacceptable. DJ needs a wakeup call.
  9. Well guys, at least we know our D is improving. Our O just needs to get more consistent with getting more points. At least all our offense decided to have an off day on the same day. so hopefully we've met our quota for off days for the season. Let's move on from now. We still have a lot of room for improvement and with more xp we should be getting better.
  10. I'm a Jauron supporter...but that Punt call made me lose quite a bit of confidence in his playcalling. *does not know how that could ever have been called*
  11. The game isn't over yet. it's just....harder....now.
  12. DJ's wife better take him to the woodshed when he gets home. I'm sure at least she sees what should have been called. This is just... unbearable. The punt should never have been called. Beyond Belief.
  13. If you want to instill and build confidence in your O you Go For It!! He's playing too safe. Playing this safe doesn't win. Soooo sooo frustrating. I've seen this too many times. I've been a part of this before. Ugh. I like Jauron, but DJ, learn from your mistakes!!!! *shakes my head*
  14. Punting was the WRONG move. ugh wrong wrong and Wrong. Play to win! Dont play not to lose. ugh
  15. *hides Jauron's vest* screw "playing close to the vest* ugh. seriously.
  16. Go for it on 4th down. With this time left, punting will do NOthing. Go For It. Nothing to lose.
  17. March it down the field Edwards. There really are no other options. so Do IT.
  18. There's still time. Plenty of time. This is where we see what Trent is made of. It's time to prove himself...or disprove himself.
  19. Our D can only do so much. Come on O. geez. how many more opportunities do they need?
  20. You're right. A day like this is bound to happen for our new O-line. They will bounce back. But for now, they better get their heads on straight.
  21. Our D must be seething. Give them a break O!!!
