  1. Where did you get your sn? the horror. "Here they come, as thick as grass and as black as hell." We need to give a good Isandlwana shellacking to the pats, fish and jests. I don't mean to be a butt one bit. You just have a good sn.
  2. When I was in HS i bet on our Bills twice during their super bowl years. Back then i didn't have much money and it hurt twice as much cause they lost. Now i'de be willing to bet money against them just so i'de lose it all and they'de win! I've only seen 3 other Bills fans in this county in cali. Gosh, i need to join an SF club or socal club. I just want to meet other fans as hard core into our team as i am. I don't care if i lose a bet, i just want our team to regain their glory and start winning for a change and more importantly winning for many seasons. When i first started to follow football in 87 the 49ers were my team (cause they are near me), then i ran into the Bills and it just made sense. The Bills will Always be my team. $5 doesn't seem too bad to put into one member of an unholy trinity.
  3. I think they'll start Moore too...for now. But why draft Pike? that one made me think.
  4. LOL. damneet, i should find a hot babe to put up pronto then.
  5. Geez Promo, you're tempting my football palette
  6. Hellz yes. I'm relieved too. I noticed that Polian drafted Pat Angerer, LB 6-1 235 lbs in the 2nd round. That surprised me due to his weight. Overall i'm happy we're going bigger and meaner.
  7. Chan wasn't my choice either. To me, his hiring was a surprise. But as i read up on him and learned about what he did with the Cowpokes and Stillers, I'm very open minded to what he can do for the Bills. He will do what he can to win this year with what he has. I don't think he'll sell our future to just win this year tho. He'll make the most of our current talent and next year he'll add to our nucleus. Obviously this is just my view on what he'll do. He seems to be good at getting the most out of qb's. So i think he'll see what he can get out of current qb's before deciding how high of a draft pick should be relegated to one next year. I know it's very early to say, way to early actually, but at this moment i would love to have Jake Locker on our team. But with time things change. We'll see what things Chan can get out of current crop of qb's. maybe he'll surprise people. maybe he won't. But i tend to think from past performance that he'll open some eyes a bit.
  8. I'm really optimistic about our Mr. Ed Wang. He might not fit what most other teams want in a starting tackle, but from what i've read on this board, he's good for a zone blocking scheme which we'll be employing. It might take a year or two to find out if he's capable of being starting caliber. I want to see what this dude can do. Who knows what his potential ceiling is with capable coaching. Only one way to find out. I hope he starts to get a nice mean streak like what Wood has. He should hang with Wood and Levitre I'm also hoping that Calloway turns into one mean guard. Always optimistic. Is there really any other option?
  9. Yep, i don't want Gaither at all. Well if his motivational problems are true. If he gets a lobotamy and somehow gets the heart of a champ and never wants to learn of the word "quit" then perhaps i'll change my tune.
  10. Good point. Late round picks can be discarded without much afterthought if they don't pan out. But if you pick em high you tend to keep them around a bit longer to "hopefully" prove to the naysayers that your pick was legit.
  11. I wouldn't mind trading for Brown....... for a 7th round future pick i suppose. If we traded Kyle Williams away, it would mean Troup would have to man the NT spot 24/7. We don't know yet if he's up to that task. Honestly though i think it would cost us too much to acquire Brown. I'de rather trade for a young hungry mean tackle who lights fires under his own ass.
  12. Clausen was picked 48th overall, and McCoy in the 2nd or 3rd round, can't recall. Good read tho. Very interesting actually. Thanks for the info
  13. Agreed. I like your assessment. Gaither doesn't seem to fit the profile of the type of players Buddy has drafted so far. It's just my wild guess that the Bills let this trade rumor persist to give them a little leverage if they are really trying to trade for another tackle (hopefully not Brown due to this age and injury issues) that hasn't been reported yet. Perhaps Nix really is after Gaither but i doubt it. There must be something going on that we're not privy to yet.
  14. I cannot agree with you more. It seems Nix is spending draft picks on players with strong work ethics who are self motivated. These are the types of players that a strong foundation is built upon. If Gaither is really the self motivated sloth (no matter how physically talented he is) that we've heard, then he has no place in the Bills organization. I really hope Nix isn't after such a lazy bum. Maybe i'm wrong about Gaither's work ethic. But from what i've read on here it's not something to be proud of. I'de always go with an individual who always puts in all his effort instead of one who puts in half hearted work. I hope Nix stays consistent and sticks with hard workers who dont' need prodding. Our starting O-line is built on strong willed self motivated players (yes for the most part inexperienced) but still. How would they gel with such a sloth as Gaither? If Nix really is after Gaither, then i'm hoping he sees something in this player's character that I don't. Maybe Nix has the patent to the ultimate cattle prod. I want our team to win and dominate with work ethic and honor. And i don't see any honor in a sloth. If we get Gaither I seriously hope he proves me wrong. I would hope he proves me wrong. Go Bills!!!
  15. If these reports are correct, then I don't see why in the heck Buddy would ever be interested in this guy. He doesn't fit the personality trait of the guys Nix just drafted. Not one bit.
  16. Your post is pretty much exactly what i've been thinking for a while about this draft class. You just worded it better than I would have. I hope this will be the beginning of a consistent trend of hard working, ethical, and team oriented draft classes. This type of draft has a much better chance of gelling and watching each other's backs on the field more so than any thugs. This class as a whole has the type of players I can really cheer for.
  17. Yes exactly. lol. I hope enough teams will be mesmerized and wowed by the current crop of Russells and Mamulas. We'll have the pickings available to us. That's if Nix and company can evaluate and draft with skill. If they can, then our draft slots won't hinder us too much long term. Scratch the Raiders and any other teams that go gah gah over work out warriors. I think Nix will see straight through these types.
  18. I would seriously party like there's no tomorrow (not many of my neighors would ever understand cause I live in Cali). And I would WANT our team to win the Super Bowl the next year to shut up any naysayers who might say it was a fluke. And my gf would stand by me proudly in nothing but Buffalo Bills body paint screaming her head off as loudly as I will! I will scream and yell until my voice is long gone!
  19. I think Cody could be a beast. His weight issue is a little risky though. Hopefully discipline won't be a problem either. His potential reminds me a bit of Haloti Ngata. Fortunately for Ngata's career he got got a linebacker like Ray Lewis to light a fire under his ass. I don't know if we have a player on our team to do that with Cody. Perhaps our coaching staff could get Cody working to his potential. I doubt he will last when we pick in the 2nd though. But if he was there when our 2nd round pick came up, how could anyone say no? As a previous poster said, buffalo wings would be in danger. I think we should therefore ration wings to Cody.
  20. Your strategy seems sensible. This might be a quick fix but what's more important is that it might also be a long term fix. We need a team that can always compete to make the playoffs and the superbowl. There are 32 teams in the NFL. One SB a year. Therefore to be an average team we need to win one SB every 32 seasons. I want our Bills to be well above average. We need to build for multiple sustained championships. Winning one SB would be heaven on earth but we need to build for more than that. We need to build to make up for lost chances and make our previous SB teams proud. Let's do this right. And let's make it last.
  21. I've always respected your posts John. This one is no exception. Although it made me chuckle... in a good way though. I guess i see unintended humor in your post. I agree with everything you have said though. Go Bills!!
  22. Common sense is alive and well
  23. Lol, you're right. This thread is a waste. Time to move on to more productive threads.
  24. Worthless post. You can do better than that. I think most on the board have caught on to your senselessness. That's probably why most have stopped replying to your insults. You have a right to your views.... as skewed as they are. Your insults just show your lack of creativity when it comes to defending your views. Your attitude is shocking. Worthless. You have no decency at all. "You're" either superbly drunk (the whole day I might add cause you've been argueing all day long) or your people skills need a tremendous overhaul.
  25. I take my previous statement back. I am NOT glad you are a fanatical Bills fan. You do not know how to hold a constructive debate in a civil manner. Will the real Bill Cowher please stand up? I highly doubt the real Bill Cowher would agree with your views doppelganger.
