  1. I have high hopes for Carrington as well. I'm hoping he'll be the 2nd coming of Phil Hansen. If he's more than that, i'll be bowing down to Nix.
  2. Imagine the horror on the juror's faces if they tried proving this in the courtroom.
  3. Good long interview. Spiller seems like a good level headed addition to the locker room and could be a great leader for this team.
  4. Oh i'm on board as well. I'm sure a lot of the fans here are skeptical about a new regime, which i dont' blame them about. A lot of posters here are former players and coaches i've noticed. Some even might still coach. I've coached and played. Only in HS tho, i'm not as accomplished as some here. But i have seen first hand how a great coach can maximize what little talent he has and make a team go further than anyone has expected. There's so much frickin fiddle faddle about past draft picks. This is a new era. A real coach with a real plan. I could be wrong about this but i am optimistic about how this team will be built in the coming years. As long as there is no tinkering by Ralph, we have a chance to build, brick by brick, something special.
  5. LOL u serious? what a good story to tell even to say u were in the casting call. I'm not an alcoholic but i do drink a lot from time to time. My random postings sure prove that btw Memo was Hawt!!
  6. We all want to find out if Nix is the savior for our team. Each and every one of us wants to find out. friggin only time will tell though. But i have more optimism now than i ever did with Jauron. How bout u?
  7. For a while now i've wanted Trent to grow a set and show everyone up. Perhaps it's not meant to be. Give him a chance under the new offense and see what happens before lambasting him. In my opinion he's on a short leash, but don't skewer him just yet. Everyone needs a chance under a new regime. If Trent fails I think Gailey will be quick to turn to the next qb and see what he has to offer. I really doubt Gailey see's SB potential in any of the qb's we have this year. He's just working with what he has and maximizing his current talent. Nothing wrong with that.
  8. Geez damn close one. I've been trying to the best of my ability to appreciate and learn baseball for years now. It's such a slow paced game. But i know there must be something about it to be appreciated. After all i have to admit, The Natural is one of my favorite movies.
  9. I agree. I've been reading this forum for a few years now and I've been sifting thru people's posts. It's taken a while, and it's still a work in progress, but i've started to see which ones here have a clue and which ones don't. Even the ones who in my opinion don't have a clue, i still try to get some semblance of understanding of our team which i might have missed.
  10. Unfortunately we have to throw everyone into the mix when it comes to sense and opinion. I agree with u tho.
  11. Good catch. I inferred the first point. But now ur making me think of both ways of looking at it.
  12. wow what inning is it now?
  13. I wish common sense was more common than it is. Why is it called common when it is really not??
  14. Um.. I would only marry a Neanderthal if she looked and thought like Shandi Finnessey xD. No second guesses about that whatsoever.
  15. I'm so damn glad we have a GM who isn't throwing picks after players who will only be with us for a few years and retire or move on. We are building a team with young players now. No need to throw in old timers to muck it up. Every time we bring in someone who is an old vet we lessen the rep opportunities for someone young who we are trying to evaluate.
  16. LOL!! she must have quite the reputation.
  17. hmm... had no idea they were up here already. I suppose it just takes getting used to. But I'de rather hear the crowd roar than hear a horn.
  18. They are annoying. I've watched two games so far with those vuvuzelas blowing constantly with no end in sight. I can only imagine how distracting to the players they are. I read that FIFA was seriously considering banning them for the rest of the tourney. But apparently it hasn't happened yet. I don't see them making it to N. America. They seem to be strictly a soccer/fooball South African item. If i saw one of those at any game i would attend i would prolly stick a potato in it to silence the sucker.
  19. Two Mary Travers? wow double the entertainment value then She's a cutie.
  20. Shouman is one tough hombre. If he can do more than what McIntyre can then i say keep him. It just blows that we have only so many spots available for players. I think he has a great attitude and goes all out which i want in a player. Not sure tho that Gailey will keep him.
  21. If i was born earlier i probably woulda seen them perform and heard her sing in rl. good choice.
  22. Good avatar Bill. that call was pure BS. We should be at 4 points now and not 2. fricken biased ref. It's good to see I'm not the only one enjoying the World Cup. It's a different type of "football" but it has it's own strategy and skills. Overall even tho i know more about USA football, i believe soccer requires more skill and endurance.
  23. True, a new name might inspire more attention. But this is about what ladies would look hot azz in a Jills uniform. Strippers or non-strippers, as long as they are impressionable to the poster. It's a Saturday night, lets have sum fun with this.
  24. lol wow your lady must be one in a million. Oh Brother Where Art Thou is a great movie.
