  1. You're right C. Biscuit. For a long long time now I've wanted Ellison replaced. He wasn't big enough or fast enough to cut it. But when it comes down to it, he's put his all into it for us. He did his best when he was called upon. That i can respect. He wasn't lazy. It's almost time for a changing of the guard in his case. Even tho he was the Little Engine that could/couldn't, i will now always respect the effort he gave us.
  2. If i knew the area better i would definitely check it out and considcer. Gosh what a dream it would be to have the Ultimate Bills Pub/Bar. I don't think i could ask for anything more. Besides a great family and friends.
  3. I know. I didn't reply cause i saw a few mistakes as well. I'm sure Sharper meant well. I've had my good share of wine as well today, still am, but i try and recheck my spelling and o-line/d-line info before i post. not always successful tho if i'm having a good bottle of wine.
  4. Che that u? or am i confused? If JP started against us i think our secondary would literally "pick" him apart.
  5. I know mpl. I want us to win now also. But more importantly i want us to win consistently and long term. I think honestly deep down to my core i would ALWAYS go for the QB who i would take a chance on to develop and take us all the way more than just one year. Multiple years. Instead of settling for one average qb who might take us all the way for one year. Screw one year. We had 4 chances. If we win it once i don't ever EVER want the naysayers telling us we coulda won it more than that. I want us doing what it takes to draft and develop to win multiple times. Screw the one year wonder Bills. I want us Winning Consecutive Championships and i want us doing what it takes to do so. Consistent drafting and development of players. I'm not a fan of just winning one Championship. I'm here for the long haul. I want us to win many SB's. To Finally Shut up the people who ever laughed at the Bills. I live in Cali, Am i the ONLY one who thinks this way?? No matter how much i may disagree with you sumtimes mpl or others, i am glad you are all here to support the Bills. Go Bills!!!
  6. 190k? Does that include the liquor license? Cause that is key! are you serious??
  7. Mentioning you want a scatback gives teams (such as the Giants) an idea that you want to draft a player such as Spiller (which from what i've read the Giants coveted) The Giants could have traded up for him. Also mentioning you are switching to the 3-4 indicates to every team what kind of front 7 you are interested in drafting. I would definitely keep this under wraps. I would never let on to any other team who i might draft. Would you ever give any indication to another team what position players you might be after? Unless you are trying to throw them off course which would be a strategic idea. I completely agree that Spiller is a great pick up. I don't disagree with u on that at all. I just think a smart team keeps it's drafting ideas incognito.
  8. Has there ever been an example in your life when you have been optimistic?
  9. Yes mpl. would be open to his consideration at a low minimilized price. Considering we don't have pro bowl qb's on hand, nothing wrong with being open minded to a former college all pro. Not saying he will light it up ever. But you should never be close minded if the price is right. In this case the price would prolly be quite low. So not much to complain about.
  10. I agree with you whole heartedly. You never show your hand, unless it's a false hand to lure your opponents into a trap. Or even to show a true hand to give them false hopes, and then in the end take them for all they're worth. I don't think every FO is 100% perfect. Maybe this is a slight mistake that our FO made. Hopefully they'll learn from it.
  11. Campbell definitely could have helped us. But i'm thinking that Nix and Gailey think Campbell has a certain ceiling that they would not be happy with. Perhaps Campbell would be a great backup for us. But i don't see him taking us all the way.
  12. Interesting... U made me realize that we can last a game or two longer without CJ than we can without Troupe. Troupe is an anchor, we need him to plug up the middle badly. Him and Kyle. Spiller better not hold out, but if he does we still have Jackson and perhaps Marshawn also, to run the ball. Bell too if need be. But we really need Troupe. Kyle can't go the whole game alone.
  13. CJ has every control over the negotiation process that he wishes to. His agent after all is someone he hired. CJ can very well find another agent if he wishes to, and his current agent can lose out on any commission. It's just a matter of how much influence CJ wants in the negotiation process. Due to his character, i hope he doesn't let this drag on longer than it really has to.
  14. Put a red hot fire poker up his azz, and he just might... for one series.
  15. I think the only reason people still think about JP is cause he was the only one willing to really go long in a while with the Bills. Also due to the fact he put in a lot of time into the Buffalo community. That is prolly why we all wish him well. This thread will prolly die soon. best wishes JP.
  16. From PFT: thats all true until the game starts and the game is on the line then he will kill them just like we all saw him do here time and time again. the guy just does not have "IT" nothing between the ears unfortunatly. great athletic ability no brain or feel for the game. I think i agree. JP doesn't have "IT" from what i've seen. But I know i'm not always right. Still curious what a real QB coach and OC can get out of him in the right system. Some QB's are probably so talented they can succeed in any system presented to them. Some such as JP just can't. Maybe he never will. Some QB's can only succeed in one or two systems. Maybe, shouda, woulda, coulda, about JP being coached by Gailey. Just curious that's all.
  17. LOL! Blame da tectonic plates.
  18. Gosh, good eye. I've had my eye on Troy Smith for a while as well. I'm biased tho cause I like the Buckeyes. If Troy could be had for something minimal and Chan thinks he can mold him into something worthwhile then, perhaps, just maybe, possibly... I think Chan has thought about it, but he hasn't pulled the trigger to make it happen so i doubt it will. I would certainly be intrigued if Troy came to us though. But if Chan overpaid i would be a bit upset. Troy still has promise.
  19. lol what is that avatar called? I've never seen such a thing in any game i've ever played. combo of a unicorn and minotaur? It's prolly a fog of frustration and false hopes. I'm hoping that Lee will finally fulfill my fantasy hopes this season. I keep drafting him, hoping to out think my opponents. Last year i let him slide and was about to pick him up, but alas he was plucked before my turn came. This year I'm keeping my eye on Lee. My prediction is he'll be a great sleeper, finally.
  20. Haha, hey give the Bills time to find a Bruce. We can't find everyone in one or two drafts.
  21. I'm thinking nay. It's never bad when we Bills fans do research into possible new draft picks which may enhance our team. But why even think of drafting someone with issues such as these now? There must be plenty of great players available with much less issues. Issues just could cloud a team's cohesion. And that leads to less wins. Less long term wins i must clarify.
  22. Earthquakes here in Cali are a normal thing. Prolly just how normal high winds or hurricanes might be for you i suppose. how bad was it? If it's your first time it's definitely interesting.
  23. LOL true that. xp and big arm mean absolutely nothing without good productivity. I mean, Jamarcus Russell has a big arm and experience. Not the right experience, but still experience. Good production is what they should have been after. I still do wonder though what Gailey could have done with JP. I wish JP the best in Seattle. I hope he survives the Carroll regime. I have a best friend who worked with me and his initials are JP and he actually does look like JP Losman. Everyday at work i would update him on his progress with the Bills (when JP was with the Bills).
  24. I thought only white guys were applicable for the "high motor" moniker? McCargo would be dumbfounded if u called him this to his face.
  25. A bit off topic, but our US soccer team barely and I mean BARELY scored in the last minutes to qualify for the next round of the World Cup. This despite what seems to be referee's attempts to thwart us from advancing with bad calls. (Kinda reminds me of how the Bills have been treated in the past). Also Isner (an American) in Wimbledon is battling a Frenchman in what is the most historic match in tennis history. If any of you watch tennis you will know that 59-59 tied in the 5th set has more than shattered any previous record. I'm talking games in the 5th and not points. Games. This is a match of Epic proportions. The match has been going on for over 9 hours overall. It's been delayed til tomorrow cause of lack of daylight. This means this match started yesterday! The reason I bring this up on a Bills board is because I have been cheering these Americans on with all my might. I am proud to do so. This is the way I want to and will continue to cheer our Bills when they finally overcome the hump of the last decade. I will be as proud of our Bills as much as i am of the Americans I just mentioned. In a way i find it ironic that fins and pats fans are cheering for these Americans as well cause they did pick the wrong pro football teams to cheer for after all Go Bills!!!
