Ralph Needs to Adopt Jim Kelly Now!

If that's what it takes then I'll fly to Buffalo on my own dime and teach Jim tennis myself. -
I partially agree with you. I don't think we'll finish with a top 5 draft pick. But imo we have the slightest outside chance of barely squeeking into the playoffs if our team plays well and if the moon is aligned just right on some game days. It could happen. It's a 1% chance in my book but they could surprise us.

Ralph Needs to Adopt Jim Kelly Now!

Oh boy, this could turn interesting. how about Tasker and Kelly both get adopted? how about Beebe-Wilson or Talley Wilson? There must be one guy who Ralph has known who he considers like a son. There must be one. -
Do we really fight our own division or ourselves?

You're right. No team is invincible. -

Do we really fight our own division or ourselves?
Pilsner replied to Skoobydum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's a little bit of both I think. The patsies, fishies, and jests have been quite a challenge for us but over the past 10 or so years it hasn't helped that we have shot ourselves in the foot so many darn times. It's time for that foot to heal and get back up and running again. I know it may be a bit early to say, but I think we might finally have the stability we need now. And yes, punish our opponents, deep into the ground, and when we've done that, punish them some more! Your thinking is spot on Skooby. Go Bills!! -
Hellz yes, with a beer in hand and talking with u all, it sure does seem like a sports bar

Sincere gratitude for having such a great place for all of us hard core Bills fans to congregate and share all our thoughts. Thank you.

Ya Doc, i'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of team chemistry and cohesion we have later on in the season. I'm looking for our guys to constantly be looking out for blood each and every game by then. During the next off season we can let loose some of the guys who don't quite have the killer team mentality and bring on board some new fresh blood thirsty talent.

Trent Edwards the next Bills Starter?
Pilsner replied to Throwback Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree Doc. I'll support either qb Chan picks. I have the belief that Chan can couch up either player. Deep down though I've wanted Trent to succeed but imo he doesn't have the brass balls needed. Brohm might have the balls but who knows if he has enough talent to succeed. Only time will tell. But I think Chan will make the most of what he has. -
Rams looking to give Bradford $45-50MM guaranteed
Pilsner replied to bartshan-83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I does seem that way. For 45-50 million guaranteed, Bradford should surpass Manning, Brady, Brees stats to justify that enormous contract. Each TD he throws this season will cost soooo damn much. Rookie contracts are outrageous. It wouldn't surprise me if Jamarcus texted Bradford "you've got it made" -

Thanks for the link Jim. I didn't realize it had already been covered. Still reading the thread and what a long one it is too. And finally someone brought up "irregardless" and "regardless" too. lol. about time. It's really interesting reading. -

I don't think you're a racist. I just couldn't make much of what you said before cause i'm on my 4th beer. I'm glad you clarified it tho. -

This might be really really bad of me to say. I have black friends who i haven't asked this question of. I don't mean any disrespect to anyone but I've been curious of something for quite a while. Just asking for an honest and sincere response. Why do some people say aks? or akx? when they really mean ask? I mean, it's not that hard to pronounce. Just like saying nuclear instead of nukuler. -

There's a lot going on behind the scenes that a lot of us are not privy too. Race, politics, everything you can imagine is being put in front of us to distract and keep us occupied. Good thing i'm not drinking too much tonight or i would go further with this. ok back to the Bills -

I'm not sure what to make of this. But I must say things should never be about race anymore. We as a society should have progressed beyond that in this day and age. No race is right or wrong now. It's really about the individual's ethics. Nothing at all should be about race. -
Civility seems to be more and more a long lost art.

I'm sure we all have opinions on various politicians. I support anyone who upholds the constitution. Upholding the Constitution to me matters more than any party a politician belongs too. And yes Jackson is a good speaker. I hate politics. I don't like talking about it. But i can respect it when a man can orate. I'm not in any way advocating any party. Just as long as the Constitution is always upheld and never messed with. And i think it's been messed with by more than one party. Ok back to football. Sorry about that. -
Let's say you were just hired as the first coach of a team (cause the owner of the team just could not pass up on your infinite football wisdom) and were starting from scratch. On the HS, college or NFL level. Doesn't matter. Just general concepts here. The owner, athletic director or principal gave you full reign on your coaching duties as well. Which positions would be your first priorities? Where would you start to build? How would you build your team with your own vision? I realize in HS you are some what limited to who is available. But in College and the NFL you have more leeway with recruiting and drafting/signing FA's. Just curious how you all would begin the building process of a true and lasting contender. A team that you would want built for the ages. A team built in your own mind's image. I would start from the lines and move outwards. I'm sure you all have your own differing opinions. Although in Madden i've started the exact opposite way and been very successful. But in RL i'de put my money on the lines first and move from there. Also I would hire offensive and defensive coordinators who have shown a good tendency for adapting and improvising to any unexpected situations. How would you all begin to build your monster team from scratch? Go Bills!! Getting a good cheerleading squad is an added bonus.

Channing Crowder OUT FOR SEASON
Pilsner replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure Channing Crowder was just as surprised to read that he was out for the season too. He prolly checked his foot again to make sure it was still in good working order. Silly staff writer. And Rex thanks for being a classy poster. Much appreciated. Better than some on this board.
