  1. Yes I agree. If the patsies did this, they would probably find a way to add little actuators and motors in the braces to add an extra % of power boost.
  2. Makes sense. Here's to everyone on here acting like they really are in real life, except without drama. You're right, we're on the same side.
  3. I'de maybe sign him for a dollar. But if he doesn't pan out, he would be obligated to give that dollar back. Even then he would be taking away valuable snaps from the players we already have who will do more than roy's sorry ass ever will.
  4. I hope, I really hope that Edwards can be resurrected considering what Chan has been able to do with average qb's in the past. First order of business tho is to take Edwards to surgery and insert brass ballz. If he is to succeed he NEEDS to become a leader that the other players are willing to Follow to the ends of the earth.
  5. Damn. I'm not even that religious at all, but what u said inspires me. Crush them until they are nothing more than Belichick's 4th Super Bowl hopes. (with the patsies)
  6. It doesn't really matter because more presidents than we care to think about have done morally wrong things. No matter what party they are affiliated to. To me Gailey is just talking about some Presidents in general.
  7. That is generous of you to offer. But what if they went 7-9 or 8-8? What would u give up then? At the very least u can do a few notes.
  8. I'm expecting Wood to bring out the lumber and Explode on people. I think he'll be the exception to how some athletes recover and he will come out with a vengeance and demolish peeps. Just my prediction.
  9. Ya the "pipes" comment confused me as well. I was waiting for him to show his vocals in all it's glory but it didn't happen. Maybe he's shy.
  10. Thanks for the info Skooby. I'm liking Chan's character more and more. He seems to be a man of honor and ethics. These are qualities that cannot be overstated. We don't know yet if he'll be successful for us, but i'm more inclined to say that he will be. This is the type of person who can steer a ship in the right direction. Complete polar opposite of the Lane Kiffins of the world.
  11. LOL. Airplane will never Ever get old
  12. RIP Mrs. Cowher. What a sad time for the Cowher family.
  13. I miss seeing us run the counter trey back in the day with Thurman. Remember seeing the beauty of it unfolding, two linemen pulling, one kicking out, one turning in and blocking the inside or to the 2nd level. The play took time, and patience for Thurman to read how the blocks went, but wow it was amazing to watch. To me watching them was like seeing the final thrusts being put into a defense. Their dieing gasps. Thurman could run it like no other. Plus it helped we had good linemen who knew what they were doing
  14. Leverage and technique helps with some.
  15. Not a player, but he actually resembles P Diddy/ Puff Daddy
  16. I wonder who on the board would be voted as the first candidate for being cannibalized? First person to say something bad about anyone would prolly be on the chopping block
  17. Just seems natural. Can't explain why. It was cool when i found out that some people a block away have their own buffalo in their yard. hmm...
  18. Tru dat. But what if ever player did that? and then after they drew their last breath, the game went into over time :0
  19. You read my mind on this one. I luv trapping the hell out of people especially if it's so hard and timed just right they are knocked into another dimension. Next would be an option, but that works better in the college ranks. 3rd would be the triple reverse pass of my own design which only works in my dreams. But when it works.... wow. Go Bills!!
  20. You're right. The ratings are BS. Pure and simple BS. They are biased ratings affected by what the people in charge at EA think of each team. In fact the head honchos prolly ask the programmers to make the ratings as best they can. My brother used to work on Madden at EA and he told me stories. So I don't hold much stock in their ratings at all. It's been a while since he worked there so perhaps they revamped their rating system. But I still doubt it's an exact science. It's prolly based on bias and stats from the previous season that weren't properly taken into account. It's surprising how easy it was to adjust madden stats back in the day. It might still be.
  21. beerme1 that is too generous an offer. I honestly can't say when my brother and I will make the trip. But i hope it will be soon. thanks for the great reply
  22. LOL exactly. thats y i was so vague with my post
  23. I'm young compared to a lot of peeps here on this board. So I can only go from memory. My first choice would obviously be Frank Reich, then after that it would be Steve Young. This is not necessarily based off stats. But based off of who in your gut you would want in your corner if your starter went down. Just a new topic to throw in here for a change of pace What are your thoughts?
