Wing-T formation would be awesome. But it might not work too well in the NFL cause defensive players are so experienced they can usually sniff it out. Perhaps it will be Wildcat. Since this is Buffalo, how about they give it a more appropriate name for us. The WildBill? Or just something more unique to us.

As a Bills fan I think the only good that can come from this is that the Jests will have less to spend on other players if they bow down to Revis' demands.
-
Wish i could check out the show to see what our rivals are up to. I dislike the jests as i do the pats and fins. (Raiders most of all) I can't hate them. Hate is a word better used for the bin ladens of the world and the bilderberg group. We'll get to see the players personalities more than we probably want to. This show won't give us a detailed glimpse of any plays they'll be unleashing in the regular season. Purely entertainment value.

Easley's condition might be season ending
Pilsner replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't recall which poster mentioned it, but this person said that Moulds was asked to come into camp (i'm guessing last year? but not sure) to talk to the wide receivers. That's when Moulds tried to correct some of Hardy's errors. I'm trying to remember the poster who said this. Sorry can't be more specific. Thanks Matt in KC. I just now noticed you found Nucci's post -
Easley's condition might be season ending
Pilsner replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been optimistic about Hardy for a while and have really wanted him to click and begin to succeed. Another poster (sorry can't recall at the moment who) stated that Moulds came to camp once and tried fixing some of Hardy's faults. But then Hardy went on to continue with his previous bad habits. Perhaps he has a hard time learning? I'm starting to think that maybe he has just relied on his talent alone and isn't one of those guys that can learn easily and pick up things such as routes and reading the D. Please Hardy, prove me wrong. I want this guy to succeed but i'm not too optimistic about him as in the past. Well anyway maybe someone else will grab hold of this opportunity and not let go and run with it. Carpe Diem! or die trying. -

Well at least we have a promising receiver for next season. In the meantime another young fellow gets his chance to shine and show us what he has. I hope he makes the most of it, whoever he is. -
My Camp Report for Tuesday 8/10

Edwards starts. My gut feeling says Brohm barely beats out Fitz for number 2 and Brown is our number 3. Either Brohm or Fitzy stays. Fitz is smart and plays with balls but we'll see if Chan thinks he's worth keeping around. His service ceiling is probably almost at it's peak. If Chan thinks he can get Brohm above that then well... We have a young team, so i see Gailey going with young qb's with upside. Who knows, Brohm could bomb and Fitz could stick around. For some reason I think Brown stays as our number 3. Instead of us keeping all 4 and Brown going to practice squad. Just my gut feeling. I have no stats to back it up. -
Beat me to it. Maybe he'll one up April and wear his skeletor uniform. He's a bad HC but he'll probably do a decent job with their secondary. Andy Reid will most likely go nuts when the next draft comes along and Jauron will be lobbying hard for 7 new corners.

I think there's a better chance of the staff fattening up Donte and turning him into a Lil Ngata. If Donte was closer to Schobel's age then I think you might have some valid points. -
Here's my Training Camp Report from Monday 8/9/10
Pilsner replied to Mike32282's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mike, you're camp reports are one of the big highlights of my day. I really enjoy reading them! -
Well let's see if Chan can correct this. If he can't then they can toss Trent out to the trash bin. I'm sure that would satisfy some people.

Exactly C Biscuit. well said. Some people just luv to jump to conclusions. Let's see how things play out before turning into negative nancys. Hopefully we'll do better than most think.

why I am not so worried about LT situation
Pilsner replied to PJBrown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well if you truely have turned some things around in your life such as how you post and view differing opinions on here, so far you're doing ok. In all honesty i would like to be able to get along and even see myself having drinks will all posters on here. Even ones who's opinions i don't always agree with. Just as long as we are all civil and can be open minded about each others opinions as well. Even tho we don't always share the same views on the strategy on how to build the team, our one common thread is we are all on the same side. To me that is what really counts. Keep posting mlp, i try to be open to understanding differing viewpoints even if i don't always agree. And thanks for being civil lately. -

mlp in the past couple of weeks u have sometimes made some sense. Not always, but sometimes. I have even found myself agreeing with u on occassion which seems strange to me. Are you bipolar? are u on new meds? Did a new family member take over your screen name? I'm not sure what to make of this. We'll see, maybe you will fully revert back to your old self. But for now you seem like an adequate poster which is more than u were before. You haven't used foul language which is a bonus. Is our mlp maturing? *sheds a tear* I'm just saying i'm giving u a tad bit more benefit of the doubt now. We'll see how long it lasts. But i'm more willing to read your insights now on your opinions about the Bills. -
LOL Hilarious. If true, thank goodness Stupar didn't get cut This sure explains things. hmmm but when Fewell took over, did Stupar get more time on the field? i can't recall.
-
Finally some common sense. Stupar. A decent combo of blocking and receiving. Not great but decent. Decent is better than what we've had in the past. Now let's see if Nelson can improve his blocking and take over the No. 1 spot.

I like what you've said applescruff. I have to admit i'm always optimistic about the Bills. Every year as the season progresses i'm always telling my friends *theoretically, mathematically the Bills can still make the playoffs and go to the Super Bowl* I never back down to whatever my friends say. There is no other choice for a true die hard Bills fan. Theoretically we can make the Super Bowl this year. Of course it's possible. I will never deny that possibility. But the odds are slim to none and slim is thinking about packing his bags. Slim isn't out of town yet tho. I honestly think we have a chance to make .500. If we're lucky 9-7. We could even be 4-12. But I think closer to .500. I have to temper my optimism though. I have to constantly throw a rope around my optimism and reign it in a little bit. I see an improving team though. I see progress in the making. This will be a growing team with a winning attitude and God help any team that takes us for granted in the 2nd half of this season. We are a team now built of players with chips on their shoulders. And next years draft will have an infusion of more of the same types of athletes. This season i'm looking for growth and progress. I can't wait for our team to prove the negatives wrong. For this season I don't need the playoffs to be excited about our team. I just want consistent progress!! And to F*$k the Pats.

Bill Walsh had confidence in Trent Edwards
Pilsner replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's a stretch to think that Gailey is as inept offensively as Jauron was. I see what you're saying though. Let's say that the O-line did not gain any experience from last year, that they are the exact same group. Something tells me that Chan will still find a way to have Evans run or mix in more effective routes (example: crossing routes) and that Chan will help Edwards with his reading abilities when it comes to the opposing D. Edwards is bound to do at least 1% better. And now let's say that the O-line has gained a tad bit of experience from last year. Now I'm being conservative here but let's add another 1% of improvement here. So that's 2% more than we had from last year. This is not at all too much to ask. But in all honestly i'm thinking more than a 2% overall improvement. I'm being realistic here. My expectations here are not shooting for the moon as u can see. They are Realistic expectations. -
Bill Walsh had confidence in Trent Edwards
Pilsner replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bill Walsh wasn't always right. Far from it. But he was right more than most i'de venture to say. No one is ever right all the time. But I think he was right more often than 50% of the people in his league. So considering that, I'de still give Bill Walsh the benefit of the doubt about Trent's potential. The guy just needs a proper coach which he's never had. Maybe he needs the right system too. If he fails with Chan (he who can make the most out of not much with qb's) then i'de be willing to say Trent is a failure for the NFL. But Let's see what he can finally do with a real coach teaching him. Chan has to undo a lot of things that Trent was taught in the past by the Jauron regime.
