  1. It's called Character and Heart. Listen to what he talked about. Are you lacking in those departments? sheesh
  2. I like the title of your thread a lot John. I think we're trying to find our long term qb though. You're right Fitzy is a scrapper and leader but he can take us only so far. We need to find out if Trent or Brohm is the one and if they aren't then we'll know what to do in next year's draft. Fitzy seems to be our only known quantity now so far. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing because we know what we can expect out of him. Go Bills!!!
  3. I can't imagine ever booing one of our players. Save the booing for the other team.
  4. Pretty pathetic huh?
  5. If u permit me to say, Sanchez is bad at hiding the fact he likes hot dogs on game day. :0
  6. I think what he means is it's not cool to pray for someone to fail. Not cool at all. Unless of course it's Jeremy Stevens or Vick... ect...
  7. I'll be watching how the 0-line blocks, throws down the middle for our qb's, how our D-line handles the run, pass rush, and how our LBs do. I suppose that's a lot. Oh ya and special teams. I'm not worried about our running backs or our DBs. Even if some of our guys falter I'm not too worried. They won't be able to fix everything by the 3rd preseason game. But as long as I see progress then i'll be ok. I'll be watching Moats and Maybin.
  8. Well he sure is a hot dog, in the sense he likes the lime light.
  9. 1st. Lee Evans Tied for 2nd. Wood and Levitre. 3rd. water boy.
  10. Kyle Orton The one guy who reminds me of Jim Kelly.
  11. We could have had him, but we might have started him right away. That's what worries me. Perhaps grooming him a few years did him well. We'll never know. Maybe he would have succeeded being thrown into the fire right away. With some players u really can never tell.
  12. Aaron Rodgers seems to be turning out to be from a rare breed. He's tough and also what impresses me most, he can adapt, adjust and make the solid throws as he sees his 0-line falling appart in front of him. This dude is a baller. Never would have guessed being groomed by Jeff Tedford at Cal. Out of any QB in the league, Rodgers is one who could do the most with our inexperienced O-line, and make the throws that count, and live long enough thru the season to tell the tale.
  13. If there's ever a quality in a coach or human being I could stand behind, it's this *points to the OP's link*
  14. With the right meds maybe incognito would have worked out for us, if he ever showed his presence.
  15. I want our O-line to have better talent too. But if we had spent more high draft picks on the 0-line then i'm sure there would be a good number of posters saying wtf we ignored upgrading the D. Our run D would leak like a sieve. Our FO was going for the best value possible imo with a slight bias towards the D.
  16. Wolford, Ritcher, Hull, Davis, Ballard. Man what a Line. Bell, Levitre, Wood, Calloway, Meredith. You never know. Possibly the very beginning of something special. Add in another draft or two of linemen and we could have the recipe for a monstrous line someday.
  17. This could make for some interesting crow eating festivities by years end
  18. I can't recall the last time a rookie qb was put into such a perfect setting ever to start his rookie campaign. Great O-line, running game, pretty darn good D. In this almost perfect setting he didn't impress too much. Sure he'll probably improve a little bit his second year because it's hard to imagine having as many interceptions per pass attempt as he did last season. It's my gut feeling though that he will just be an average joe. Btw Dean, I miss your old avatar. It was growing on me. Seems like several people have changed up theirs since the board got updated.
  19. LOL it does look pretty grim there doesn't it.
  20. No way would they start on other teams. But they are on our team and they are our qb's. So we might as well support them as best we can.
  21. That's a swaggerific post You might have a point though.
  22. Horribly overrated qb. When we play the jests we are gonna Sanitize the Sanchize.
  23. LOL Wood was too effective. What a great problem to have Wood is turning into a monster. Wood and Levitre. One could turn into a Beast and another a superb technician. I luv our guards.
  24. Sanchizzle and Henne = Proven qb's? right. Wow some sports writers sure like to jump to conclusions.
