Die Hard, I've always enjoyed your posts. They're well thought out and great reads. After reading most everyone's kind hearted and sincere responses, I hope you will reconsider and keep posting. You don't have to give us your true identity, I don't think anyone here will give you a hard time if you keep it under wraps. It's great to know that at least one former Bills player has posted here. Hopefully there are more. It's an honor to have conversed with you. Take some time and think about what your contributions have meant to this board. Obviously many here appreciate your posts and your dedication to the Bills, past and present. Keep posting Die Hard Go Bills!!!

Hmmm I wonder if it'll happen. Hey why not. It would be fun to see a little of it sprinkled in. But I have to say this: our backs better sell the fake hand offs and our qb's better too. It irritates me to no end when backs and qb's are so sloppy with their fakes. Sell it and make the D buy it! It's just plain laziness if they don't. I hope Chan's discipline will keep the fakes at a good level. Cuz I'll be watching.

LOL Bowery I likey that one a lot. Nice

I like his college name Lightning. I just think whether we like it or not he'll get a new nickname for the NFL. I'm curious to hear what Berman will stick with Who knows maybe Lightning will still stck.

Whoever first came out with Tha Thrilla. Well that has my vote.

Can we continue to rely on misdirection?
Pilsner replied to Superb Owl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love that we're using misdirection too. Until we add more Levtres and Woods to the line I think we'll be using more misdirection than we really want to. I luv the wingt offense so seeing some misdirection gives me great joy. Glad we're not running the wingt tho. When a line is young and inexperienced, misdirection helps level the playing field against better D's. But in the NFL it can be overdone. I like our amount of it tho. -
Leinart was great in college. Fitzy isn't the most accurate guy but Leinart isn't either in the NFL. He's been checking down a lot lately which keeps his completion percentage at a decent level but other than that not too much accuracy or good consistency. I'de say both qb's are fairly on par with each other with the exception of one thing. I can see our players rallying behind a leader like Fitz but not so much behind a whiner and complainer like Leinart. Just my 2 cents.

Pete Carrol's mission of collecting his former USC all pro's just got a little easier.

Are you drafting Spiller in for your fantasy team?
Pilsner replied to beggar13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I tried a similar experiment last year dgrid. Everyone was scrambling for running backs so I chose Fitzgerald rd1, Andre Johnson Rnd2, Peyton Manning Rnd3, and loaded up on sleeper running backs. Happened to get Ray Rice late round pick. I won my league but it's a risky strategy. I hope your strategy works out for you. -

Wow nice wideouts I have Miles Austin, Shonn Green and Lee Evans on my team too. We had our draft a week and a half ago. 8 team league. Normally we have 10 teams. This was before people saw much preseason footage of Spiller. I was lucky to pick him up in the 13th round. When I made my pick I said aloud "This is my ultimate boom or bust pick. But I'm thinking boom!" -

Have ever you hated a player in the NFL?
Pilsner replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ugh, Louis Oliver, I forgot about him. Ya he was a pain too. During Cox's playing days with the fish he was an ass. Thanks for reminding us that after his playing days were over he turned out to be a more mature guy. But I still can't forget him flipping off our fans at home. -
I admire your enthusiasm. After a 12 pack i would probably say similar things. It's probably a matter of time til i post like u did, most likely do to an abundance of beers

Would any of our QBs actually start for another team???
Pilsner replied to Merle Haggard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You cannot say that Edwards won't lead us anywhere just as I cannot say that he will lead us to the playoffs. For the first time in his career he has a coach who can really coach up qb's. We don't know what will happen yet. We honestly need to give Trent and Chan time. Anyone getting too pessimistic or optimistic about Trent at this time is jumping way ahead of themselves. I'm being optimistic about Edwards now. I think something can be salvaged with him. But I also realistically see that it will take time to see what the results are. -

That was a great play. But gotta say that jets safety #27 sure bungled his tackle. He was probably trying to clean Lee's clock, but he blew it big time. great play tho Sorry I don't have a better link than yours at this time. -
Most hilarious football play ever caught on film
Pilsner replied to Rush23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for the link. I was trying to find it but couldn't. The Vermont play is probably the most bone headed play I've seen in years. The guy felt so bad too in the end. You could almost feel his pain, how he let down his team. -

She was also in the 3rd Rocky movie. Played a good hot Russian babe for that time. -

Bryan Cox was very high on my dislike meter. But if I had to choose a player I hated. Well, i don't like the word hate, but if i had to choose, it would probably be Rae Carruth. Jeremy Stevens is up there too. He and Rae can duke it out for the #1 spot. I hate to say it but in one game when Marino was playing i was yelling at the tv "Come on Marino, break an ankle! Tear your achilles!" Then lo and behold on that exact play i yelled it, he tore his achilles. Out for the season. I was dumbfounded. -
Jackson, Spiller, Lynch = Earth, Wind &Fire
Pilsner replied to JimKelly4Pres's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Joique turns into something special I'd say the Four Horsemen. It's an oldie but goodie. But I think it's already been taken by a more stellar crowd. Let's see them tear it up this year first and I'm sure a great nickname will come about. -
I'm not really worried about the D. We have so many young guys and we've switched to a new defensive scheme. It'll just take time to adjust and for them to learn their new assignments. We'll be stronger in the 2nd half than in the first. If Edwards is a good DC then our D will grow into their rolls just fine with time. No need to fret. Go Bills!!!

I was wrong. Maybe Trent does have what it takes to be a starter for an NFL team. Under Chan's tutelage perhaps he can be molded into something. Let's see what Chan can do with him. Is Trent getting resurrected? We shall see. I sure hope so. -
Do your see a pattern here?
Pilsner replied to Bleed Bills Blue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even though this is preseason this just feels so damn good to see how we put up points so fast. It's been so long since we had a decent offense. Our O is still so inexperienced all I can see is progress and an upward trend from here. We have a long way to go but it just feels damn good that maybe we finally hit rock bottom and for now on we're on our way back up. And what a joyous ride this could be
