Exactly So let's win some games and earn some respect. Who cares if the media thinks we suck. What does it matter really. Let's just win games and win big.

Arthur Moats earns roster spot...
Pilsner replied to Merle Haggard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On this I agree with you Merle. Moat's is brand spankin new to the LB position. He'll get much better. -
"Unknown" joins BILLS to help win.

I see him coming out with a very creative passing attack and excellent play calling setting up big plays. Also I agree with your prediction that we'll blitz and blitz. Henne won't know where the next blitzer will come. They could come in bunches. Chan has been preparing to make a BIG statement in this game. -

John this is awesome. You even threw in Sun Tzu which I completely agree with. I too believe Gailey will be very deceptive. This team will be incredibly exciting to watch this season. -
No matter how good your team is, if it's a SB contender and or oozing with talent, you always take into account injuries your opponents have. You never under estimate an opponent no matter how much weaker they are. You always keep an eye on their injuries to take the biggest advantage of it possible. Any team that doesn't do this will eventually let their guard down and get bitten in the ass.

Is anyone else not fully buying into Gailey?

Mpl i'm honestly not sure what to make of your turn around in attitude. I know you will be cautious about our new coaching staff, which is fine by me if u feel that way. But you are more willing to understand other points of view, even the positive ones, which is great to see. I don't always agree with the things you say, but it's getting a little easier to read your posts and try and understand why you think the way you do about certain topics. Just good to see a better side of you. -
LOL i'm sure SDS would appreciate such a quiet serene time. Some of us must get on his nerves sumtimes lol. You're lucky tho, the only avatar i see now is uforesircher's. Maybe his number will be up soon. tick tock. Just glad though that we can still post.

Sweet tittays Benjamin. Well i'm gonna start mine once they win the miami game.

I would seriously consider growing a stache myself if we start winning and get on a streak, and I don't like staches! But since i'm a hard core Bills fan, i'm thinking about it now. btw i wouldn't be able to grow a decent stache to save my life. Anyone else here game?

Reality w/ some optimism for this year, mainly next
Pilsner replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Derek, I full heartedly agree with you that offensive schemes are key, and so is coaching mentality, preparedness, adjustments, not just at halftime but thru out the game. To some on this board talent is No.1. To me Coaching is No.1. Talent and character/team player mentality is No.2. The right coaches can mesh players together to do extraordinary things. I will never waver from this. The more talent the better, but if we don't have a coach that can bring it all into one cohesive efficient machine, the talent won't matter. I think we have the right coach now. -
I'm thinking he went to bed too. Maybe it'll get fixed tomorrow. It's pretty low priority. Now if we couldn't post at all, well that would be a different story :0

Does anyone know if SDS is trying to find out why we're seeing "no permission"? I don't think it's a huge rush to fix. It's just avatars. At least we can still post. Eventually it'll get resolved.
-
I still see "no permission" on about 95% of all yours. I think it's Brian Cox having his last revenge before the fish game.

I was just about to reply to congratulate gansta kitty's survival skills, but then I just your avatar go poof! What's going on? odd.

The fish are up to something...

Have ever you hated a player in the NFL?
Pilsner replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was AWESOME what Carwell Gardner did. -
It would be great to have a guy like Carimi. His aggressiveness at run blocking and ability to get to the 2nd level is nice.

Thanks for the info BillsVet. Quite a large number of us fans will be keeping our eyes on Locker's progress.

Guard Kraig Urbik was coveted by several teams
Pilsner replied to Another Point of View's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bob, I agree that he needs more experience and then we'll see what we have. I just think he has potential. Time will tell. I would be happy if he eventually turns into a good back up. I've never been to Germany but I plan on it. I have to say you're very lucky to have had an old flame who looks like her Hopefully she wore some Dirndls for u -
Good for him I'm excited that he'll also be involved in the passing game. He showed good hands in the preseason.

This article provided by Stevewin gives us a much better idea about Urbik. That first article I read was a little misleading with the "excels at trapping" stuff. It's good that he's a big mauler type who doesn't easily get bull rushed. He also has a mean streak which will add nicely to the mentality of our line. This guy has potential to be quality depth. Needs to get to the 2nd level faster though. I'm happy with this signing. One spot we can worry about a little less. -
Damnit Benjamin, i only voted cuz i was temporarily bored :-p

I quoted what the article stated. "excels at trap blocking and pulling" So i'm willing to see what this guy can do. We will not put him in as a starter unless he shows he can handle it. He could be great for depth tho. But for example if he can show something and the coaches are comfortable with him at right guard then great. Move Wood to center because that's where Wood is slated to go anyway. Just need a good quality replacement at RG first. not saying Urhbik is that guy. But at the very least he could be decent for depth. Maybe next year we can get a brand new RG. Hangman could be great at depth too when Wood moves to center. Any move of Levitre assumes that his Urhbik guy can start. let's wait and see if Urhbik can produce first before we think about moving players around. I really like where Levitre is tho. So imo keep him at LG. If we happen to draft a stud center next year then I would be happy to keep Wood at RG. At the point where we are now it might also mean that we are weaker at RG than we are at center. So I'm thinking that's why we have Wood at RG. I read Ross Tucker's article and it's one of my favorites. O-line is my fav area of a team. I spend more time watching them. I can't wait for us to get a quality RG so we move Wood to RG and then we dominate with pulling and trapping and double teaming. -

This guy "excels at trap pulling" and can "play all 3 interior line positions" These are things I like. So he's versatile and quick. Big and strong too. Not sure why he was let go. But we need a guy like this for depth. If he can turn into a quality right guard, move Wood to Center and we could be solid with our interior.
