Blood pumpin is right!! When i think of the fish i think of marino, brian effin cox, and louis oliver and a few other unmentionables. It's time to effin bring out our ghastliest war cries to drown out the fish!! Whether you think we have a good chance of winning or if you are on the sidelines or if you think we'll lose, gather up some damn character and cheer our team on for all it's worth!! The fish fans will be cheering for a victory over us. DON'T let their cries drown out what we know is true! Let's effin make them realize they shouldn't have come to the Ralph in the first place!!! This is no time for thought or cynicism. This is a time to Support your team!! So do so!!! Go Bills!!!!

At the Stadium or at Home?
Pilsner replied to FightinIrishBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Quester, the setup your uncles made seriously sounds awesome. Sounds very ideal for a home viewing area. I hope your grandfather is proud of "The Pole Bar" My guess is that he is. That's such a great family tradition you guys have going. -
At the Stadium or at Home?
Pilsner replied to FightinIrishBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've never been to the Ralph so I had to vote home. I live far away and certain responsibilities keep me from going to home games for the time being. I've watched some games at clubs/bars as well. But being in the stadium surrounded by fans just as fanatical as I am, wow it would be surreal to me Eventually go to a game at the Ralph, then most likely will vote for the stadium experience. Great topic! -
How pessimistic can you be? We have a new GM and a new HC who are on the same page and who both actually want to win and are doing what they can to do so. Granted, they can't do it over night and it will take a few seasons to build the team they are looking for. I can understand the pessimism from the last 10 years of futility, but why do you expect it from this new regime when you haven't even given them one regular season game to show what can be done? Even your name, 8and8Forever just exudes pessimism. You might as well be 1and15Forever. You will probably give a standard issue statement such as "well they haven't shown anything yet". Well why not give them the opportunity to show something before bellowing all your gloom and doom. If Jauron was still in place I could understand your sentiments, but this isn't Jauron ball anymore. This is the complete other extreme of the spectrum. Give Gailey a chance before spewing your pessimism. Fair enough?

Buffalo Bills Individual Player Ratings
Pilsner replied to Benjamin Barker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Benjamin, you sure like to stir the pot don't u :-p but that's you. I gotta admit it would be boring if we didn't have fans like u who didn't cause a lil stir now and then. -
Imo, it doesn't really matter who starts. Cause CJ and Jackson will both get a fair number of carries. As Chan said, you can't rank your children. In time Spiller, Jackson and Lynch will all get their touches, when and depending on game situations. Who cares about the "starters" title? What really matters is who produces and gives us the points needed to win for our team. On some teams knowing which running backs starts matters. But not on this team! We are NOT going to be predictable!

Take a minute today to remember the victims of 9/11
Pilsner replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you whole heartedly about this notwoz. I respect everyone who serves our armed forces, present and past. Playing a football game does not compare to paying the ultimate price. We need to put this into perspective. -
What's your preferred way to COOK a fish?
Pilsner replied to Pilsner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After seeing such nice fishy recipes i'm actually considering having a fishy fry bbq right before our game! it will be tasty, and I will enjoy consuming cooked fishies as much as our Bills will enjoy eating the fins alive on OUR FIELD!!! -

Chad Henne is an overrated POS
Pilsner replied to Chalkie Gerzowski's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. I bet the coach was hoping Danny would stand up and say something like "Yes!! Coach I have pride!!" Which would get all other players to rise up too. I was waiting but he didn't. Do you know if they won the game? -

LOL bowery, how appropriate fishy heads in beer batter too. yum. That's a meal a Buffalo can truely enjoy with no qualms. -
No matter how many great looking qb's there are in next year's draft there is no guarantee that any of them will pan out in the NFL. Percentage wise a few should, but still no guarantee. I'll be keeping my eye on prospective qb's for us to draft as a lot of us will be but we should also consider that maybe Chan can turn Trent into something. If it's possible for Trent to be molded into an above average qb then (this is blasphemy to many of you I know) I think Chan might prioritize a bit differently and go after other needs yet again. The only way to know is to see how the season unfolds. I want a STUD qb as much as the most hard core Bills fan. If Chan sees something promising in Trent this year I believe he'll target the BPA available and not necessarily go for a qb. Also it has to do with whether Chan thinks any of the qb's next are worth a darn in his system. There's also the possibility that more than one qb will be available that Chan might froth over. Ya never know. Oh ya i almost forgot, this is a Henne thread. ok Henne is too highly thought of. there, that's my input.

True dat. I doubt CJ would only want his name cheered on. He's a team player and would most likely want any teammate's name chanted if they scored or made a big play. Two or three times I've read various posters call Spiller "the Truth" and that is growing on me.
-
Not sure if this has been covered in the past because I haven't been here as long as most of you. Honestly my preferred way of cooking a fish would be running the ball down their throats, roasting their cornerbacks with great passes, and knocking them so hard with our D that they will be screaming for mama! But food wise, I like to buy a nice bucket of fish and chips. I'm a lazy bastard like that when it comes too cooking but trying to change my ways for the better. I've been trying to bbq salmon in tinfoil. Just progressing with that. Seeing fish sear and eating it is good. Anyway, anyone have their own interesting recipe to cook fish? On the field and over the fire I mean. Damn I'm sooo getting pumped for this game!!!

This team has recently been getting an infusion of young high character guys with a team first never say die mentality. With men like Nix and Chan leading, the Bills are going to turn into one tight knit unit with only one focus in mind. A Super Bowl win for the organization and fans. We are seeing the evolution of the teams mentality gentlemen. These new players are the types we men and ladies of morals can Really cheer for. Go Bills!!

Miami fans seem pretty confident...
Pilsner replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for showing us that post Murra. It's good to see that the fish fans have as many concerns about their team as we do about ours. Although imo we're better coached. That will make the difference. -
Will a Bill rush for 1,000 yards in 2010?
Pilsner replied to DDD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking of going with Spiller 45% and Jackson 35% for catches. But just a gut feeling Gailey will have a field day with having Spiller going out for receptions and causing big mismatches. -

Chan said he won't overwork CJ in the beginning of the season. If he can handle it then he'll probably get a bigger share of the responsibilities. Who knows, Chan might start off giving CJ a large work load to throw off the phins. Here's my prediction of percent of carries and catches for our three backs for the early part of the season. Carries: Spiller 30% Jackson 35% Lynch 35% Receptions: Spiller 50% Jackson 30% Lynch 20% IMO this will be our average but will change from game to game depending on game conditions and opponents defensive schemes. Thoughts or predictions? -
Great points. I hope a good number of posters and lurkers here read your post.

Wow this question really twists me up a bit. It's a moral dilemma to me. I would not wish a season ending or career ending injury on anyone. Although back in the day I did for Marino! Let's just say if Brady got knocked out for the season I WOULD NOT COMPLAIN ONE BIT!!!!! I would smile inside and feel guilty about it. That would be sick, it wouldn't even be good to smile about it. Still trying to figure out my emotions on this one. You and your thought provoking poll Benjamin. I can't vote yes or no. I would vote "mixed emotions" on this one. Reading Bowery's post set me straight. You can't wish injuries on anyone. I think the only reason why I even considered voting yes was because of players like jeremy stevens. Other than him and a few other exceptions, I would never condone injury on anyone. Maybe a more happy go lucky poll next time?

The ONLY thing the fins have going for them are their cheerleaders. Even then, they could use a change of attire.
-
This is awesome!! The fins will NEVER be just Another game on the schedule. The fish will ALWAYS be our biggest rival. Go Bills!!! I have a feeling this board is going to get more and more pumped up as game day nears. I can already feel my blood pumpin and flowin.
