We have much bigger issues than having to worry about upgrading Fitz. He's adequate as our starter. There are bigger holes to fill. I don't see why some people get on his case so much. After watching this game, I see some mini black holes at various positions. QB is low priority on the worry-meter. Having a D that can stop a team now and then would be nice to have. Coaching staff needs to work harder on making the most of a not so great situation.

Should Trent Edwards succeed in JAX...
Pilsner replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gary, your comment about Trent not wanting to call his own plays is spot on. Just unbelievable. When Trent gave that quote i was aghast. I hope he succeeds in life but glad he's not on the Bills anymore. -
CJ Spiller AFC ST Player-of-the-Week
Pilsner replied to cåblelady's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way to go CJ!! This is just the tip of the iceberg. -
This is on par with the Cornell Green signing. Maybe even worse. This is one move I just don't get.

If the rumors i hear on here of a 24 million extension are true, i would greatly consider drinking a 12 pack and throwing up in my sleep on my back. Damn that is too much money for him. This and the signing of Green are the two things that would give me cause for concern. And i've given this FO the benefit of the doubt. No FO is perfect tho. They all make bonehead mistakes from time to time. This Kelsay (massive money paid out) extension better not be part of it. A tiny low dollar extension would be tolerable. but 24 million? better only be rumor. Edit: I am way into character guys. I'm glad Kelsay is a leader in the locker room, but performance also matters. We need men of character and of on field performance to push team effort to it's utmost limits. Kelsay doesn't meet all my criteria for this. If he gets this huge extension i will puke. If the FO gives him this money I want to hear from them the reasoning for this.

What if Fitz improves his accuracy?
Pilsner replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perhaps Chan will take his "noodle arm" into account. Fitz's "noodle arm" almost pushed the patsies to their limit. With a little more accuracy and improved D this "noodle arm" might be able to beat the pats next time. Way to look at the optimistic side of our qb change up. If you are going to be bitter, then why not look at other positions on our team. I'm a bit concerned as well about some spots but right now it's definitely not qb. -
Edwards Really Wanted For His Bills Knowledge ??
Pilsner replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Harvey, you have your opinion. We all have ours. Doesn't matter how many years Trent has under his belt, he just hasn't shown he's an NFL qb. He can't consistently bring it. He could be the team President for all i care and for his performance i would still cut him. He was dead weight no matter what his title. I can respect a differing opinion though. It's yours to have. We'll see what he can or cannot bring with Jax. But wow imo it became obvious it was beyond a doubt he was dead weight. On another note, when i first saw your name i thought it referred to Harvey the Bunny. from the movie "Harvey" with Jimmy Stewart. Great movie actually. -
Jacksonville boards are talking Trent up
Pilsner replied to The Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Jags do in fact eventually put Trent in as starter, they might be in for a rude awakening. If he doesn't have to face a pass rush or a 3-4 he might do ok. -
Jacksonville boards are talking Trent up
Pilsner replied to The Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly want Trent to wake the hellz up and try and throw for first downs, even if the wideouts are covered. Lead the target and let them make a play. Just for the sake of his mentality. Even though he isn't on our team anymore I still wish him the best. But not when they play the Bills. In any case maybe the Jags didn't see the sticker on Trent "buyer beware." I still wish him and JP the best. They gave us what they could. Unfortunately it wasn't good enough. We move on for the better. -
Aight, as long as you have some optimism that we might pull out a win. Might as well have some hope for improvement.
-
Ah, dude we are 0-3. You can assume we'll lose and be negative like that if you like. that's your option. Why not see if we can actually get a win. Since when do Bills fans lay down and get rolled over and play dead before a game is even played? I'm being realistic, we might lose, but also we might Win. Get your chin up will you.

Wow Mob nice job. Some what inexperienced, maybe. But to whomever said off the street, can you repeat that again? -
What if Fitz improves his accuracy?
Pilsner replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Fitz keeps playing the way he did last Sunday and only improves his accuracy just a little bit which is not out of the question our O can make some dramatic improvements this season. He has the decision making, the balls, reads the D decently enough and has leadership qualities. Just even a small improvent of his accuracy could make a big difference in the overall scheme of things. -
Fire the Entire Front Office, Now theres a Change
Pilsner replied to Shoto's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're serious? You are hitting the panic button harder than I've ever seen it hit before. We are only 3 weeks into the regular season and our team showed life and improvement last Sunday. Lay off the panic button for now please. -
Proof of lateral pass...

Proof of lateral pass...
Pilsner replied to Wilson from Gamehendge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol Nice. +1. History is written and generaly studied by the victors. A smart individual will study and learn from history. Damn Wilson. You have a few loose marbles? -
Just more stuff for Belicheat to think about and game plan for. Roscoe imo would be better in the slot. Who knows what the lineup will really be on game day. Perhaps Chan is just playing little mind games with the patsies. We'll see.
-
Chan's not hitting the panic button. He knew Trent wasn't great from past performance. Chan has made the most of mediocre qb talent and the only way he could evaluate if Trent was fixable was through regular season games when the real bullets were flying. This is where Trent has failed in the past. Trent failed again and the experiment is over. Now Chan is moving on. Just glad he didn't wait longer than 2 games to do so. I think if anyone is panicking it's some of the fans here.

Do the Bills make you sad?
Pilsner replied to Another Point of View's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sad? No. Frustrated and a little impatient? Yes. -
High Expectations for CJ Spiller
Pilsner replied to Benjamin Barker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
CJ is worthy of a top 10 pick imo. Now if and when our team will put him in a decent position to showcase his skills is another story. When we are able to solidify our O-line and if Trent improves or if we upgrade at that position, then CJ Spiller will be able to show us something special. For now imo we will only see flashes of his potential. -
The Man Who Stopped Both Suh And McCoy
Pilsner replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great links Senator. After viewing all those quality former FA's, how can anyone really state a case for not at least checking out a FA. If you never look you'll never find a potential contributor... or even a rare gem. -
Lindsay Soto gets my vote. Intelligence and stunning beauty.

Why the opening game is the most crucial of the season...
Pilsner replied to beggar13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we'll win too beggar. But if for some reason we don't win, I hope you won't overreact and might anticipate a slow start.. A season is not made or lost with a victory or loss in the first game. Sure it helps to win but if we lose, your confidence might be dissipated, but mine won't be and neither will the confidence of the players. We are on the right path. If we win or lose this game we are moving in the right direction. Our very young players will gain good xp and will get better. If we win this game (which I think we will) then we'll get some valuable xp and also be 1-0. Even if we lose the first two games, it is possible for our players to get valuable playing experience and progress from there. There is no need to look for and hit the panic button. With quality coaching patience is the key. Everyone chill and let our team grow. Who knows we might even beat the fish by a decent margin. Go Bills!!!
