Your guys' excitement is really getting my interest back into soccer. Will be helping my bro and his wifey pack and move this weekend, but I hope to catch the game. I'm glad there is a decent soccer following here!

Kelly I want you to be correct so badly. Ralph's family is going to be Rich or RICH. Either way I believe his family will be ok. It would be nice if he told the fans that the team will be staying in Buffalo for sure. If he wants his legacy to be remembered in a good light then he already knows what he's doing. It's in the works and we are just not privy to the details for some reason. I will gladly eat crow and ask for seconds if Ralph has a secret plan of keeping the Bills in Buffalo. I will start my own food network dedicated to crow. As long as Buffalo stays.

We'll get respect only when we start winning. Consistently. We will. Our time is coming. So chillax a bit. Something good is forming.

"Falling Skies"...New Show from S.Spielberg.

Noah the super librarian will grow and kick some major azz. This series has potential. I hope they put a decent amount of effort into character developement. Maybe all the skitters really want is the flower of life. This show could turn out to be a nice mix of well known past series. We shall see. -
A good number of quality posters on here would not have been involved in a backlash if Tony was brought in by the Bills it seems. Unfortunately it might be a minority who would support him.

How Tony and his sister grew up is something none of us here should wish upon anyone. It was consensual and they were both underage. As awful a situation it is to me and many here, he deserves a chance to redeem himself. How anyone can view him as blasphemy is beyond me considering the circumstances. I hope he keeps growing as a man from all these tribulations and becomes a productive member of society. I'm glad some team is giving him a chance. Good luck to him.

I like Gailey, but what was he thinking
Pilsner replied to BillsLux's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Harvey I feel your pain on Cornell Green. That was just a bad acquisition. Bad mistake. But overall in the whole scheme of things I think Gailey and Nix are on the right track. I suppose I'm a bit more optimistic than you are. -

As much as I hate losing, I think what John from Hemet and SJBF said was probably the best approach the FO could have taken. Find out who's worth keeping and forming a foundation with. Toss the rest when they can be upgraded. -
Father's day gift for you Star Trek nerds

With little time to think about it I would recommend an avatar pic of Karl Donitz. His supreme reign was short lived. -
Great story and thanks for posting it. I hope you told him there are a lot of us Bills fans cheering for his success.

Q never would have messed with Kirk. Your banter is hilarious tho. -
Who cares about the pro bowl? It's a popularity contest. I don't care if any if our players miss it as long as they all play well as a team and win!

It's pretty easy to see why some people would agree with Chan being ranked as the 29th best coach based solely on stats. Stats are so black and white. Talent, vision, creativity, leadership, guidance aren't so. Chan's first stint with Dallas wasn't ideal because he was trying to lead aging stars who weren't too open to adapting. This coach is talented. He's either been held back by over the hill talent or lack of it. How can a coach be ranked when he hasn't had decent young talent for him to lead and the time to lead it to show what he can do? I'm not taking this 29th ranking seriously at all.
-
Our O-line is young and growing. Many of us see a lot of potential in this group as do I. If they don't progress this year to satisfy the coaches then new high round talent can be drafted next year. Sure we could have drafted higher end O-line talent this year but then people would be harping on how the FO was so clueless to neglect the run D. Everything cannot be fixed at once. I believe the FO tried to get the most out of their picks with a preference to D as opposed to reaching to fill holes to satisfy grumps on here. I'm an O-line guy and I want our line to be solid, but considering the talent we drafted on the D, I'm satisfied. No more reaching like in the past. Just fill the holes with the best talent available.

I'm willing to have an open mind about Chandler. He can block and he'll be getting starting reps, something he didn't get much of with the cowboys. If Chan and company honestly think he can grow into his role and contribute then that's ok with me. TE is a huge hole on our team and if he can fill it then great. I honestly hope we go after a young stud blocker like Boss or Miller though. Where art thou Metzelaars?

Wow that is crazy. It takes balls of steel to try that move and to be so close to the action on the ground. If that's real it would make me crap my pampa.

Dareus in Madden (screen shot)
Pilsner replied to Deep2Moulds46's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's good to see that they're trying harder now to make more accurate ratings. But they still have a long way to go. Back in the day my brother was a QA tester for Madden for a few seasons. Even though he wasn't supposed to he was able to fix some over inflated ratings of DE's made by a code monkey (no offense to any skilled code monkeys out there ) who was an overly biased Giants fan. Those were the days. I sure hope Madden keeps trying to perfect the rating system. How do you quantify football intelligence? What character rating can rally the troops? Which rating will throw a football at the coach's feet and have a tantrum and quit on the team? It'll be interesting to see how this keeps evolving.
