You are too kind. It is just blind luck that I found my freulein. Without her optimistic view on things I think I might be a bit misguided. She keeps me in check. To me it's like a family atmosphere on here just like it is for the the current Bills team and the late 80's, early 90's Bills. San Jose, fans such as you and certain others on here make it worth while for me to check up on TBD every day like it's my own version of crack.

Odds are Freddy will slow down significantly in a few years. But what if he's the exception? What if he has Marcus Allen longevity? What if he has even better lasting genes than Marcus? Odds are against it but so far, considering how Freddy is showing more each year, who would bet against him? Perhaps with the way he seems to avoid the big hits, he'll prolong his progressing career. Perhaps even next year with a more experienced O-line he could do just as well or slightly better. We do not know this man's limits and cannot say he is about to hit the wall. Maybe today's 30 is the new 27 for him?

San Jose, I recall your previous thread. I suppose I was among those who helped it peter out because I didn't have anything better to add to your initial post. When I agree with someone I usually don't say much or anything because my thoughts have already been stated by a quicker poster. Usually with better wording than my buzzed azz could muster too.

It's a good time for a bye week. If need be, give some guys an extra week to recover to make sure they r back in full health. At this time in the season it's not like we are at a critical point when the injured need to be rushed back into service. Plus this gives valuable experience to backups (some who will eventually become starters).

Don't stunt Jones' progress. Stevie's was held back too long.

I just can't believe this... 51 is way too young. Kent Hull was and still is an inspiration. What a Huge loss this is to Bills nation. He was a rock and could always be counted on. Really sad news RIP Kent. Everything you did for the Bills will always live on with us fans. This must be hitting Kelly, Thurman, Bruce, Talley and the gang pretty hard. Condolences to his family.

Lol! We can't expect perfection from Chan every single game. He will have his mistakes but they seem to be few and far between compared to his good calls. As some have already said, and I agree with their sentiments, Chan is the right coach for the Buffalo Bills. One day he will be as revered as Levy as HC. Chan has the cajones and smarts to help this team prosper for a long while.

No one feels good over a loss. No sane person with a drive to win does. This loss pisses me off. But there's no point of me or others dwelling on it. Just glad this team faught hard. The defensive scheme needs to be fixed pronto and some personnnel adjustments need to be made. This loss sucked but I'm glad I didn't see this team just quit. We'll get some nicked up starters hopefully back healthy in two weeks. This is a continual learning experience for the younger guys.

I agree with you PTR. I'm glad there are many here not hitting the panic button. Time to heal up during the bye and come back hard and rejuvenated.

You know Boone you're right that a strong locker room should be able to handle a newcomer with any idiosyncracies that individual may have. But no need to try this unless the circumstances are extreme which they aren't. I'm glad you wouldn't want to part with a 4th.

No Lloyd. Bills will make due until Jones is back and until then others will get xp. A 4th round pick that would've been supposedly used on Lloyd can instead be used to try and find another Hairston next draft. Also would his mentality mesh with this team or would he be a cancer? Too many peeps neglect to consider mentality.

You have a cool head. You could've ripped him appart. He's a bengals fan anyway. My buddy at work is a hard core Eagles fan and I don't mind the team so I wish ur Eagles a turnaround. I always tell my friend at the beginning of every season "The Bills will be waiting for you in the SB!" Still plenty of time for this to happen.

I like your thinking AJ. It's great to help make someone's day if they've earned it. I generally leave a 15 to 20% tip. If the service is exceptional then it's 25%+. May the gods help any competent server if your bill is high. You cheap bastard :-p

Really looking forward to Donald Jones coming back. He can block like a mofo (which helps Freddy's game) and I like his willingness to do so and intensity. His receiving skills will improve and so will the Bills' fortunes.

Davis just gained a lot more respect in my book. And in Shep's book too I'm sure. This is the type of team first attitude I love. It's Shep's time to shine. With Davis' help. And Davis does not suck.
