Great idea Selmon. Good variety of movies. English period pieces aren't so shabby unless it's a Jane Austin. I used to never be into English pieces when younger but they've grown on me. Just saw Gosford Park for the first time and I have to say it's a well done movie. Quality acting and good script. The Strangers... When is the deadline to watch it?

Looks like Rick is starting to grow a set. Nice to see everyone in a hurry to prepare for more zombies but they should've been doing this a while ago. I like how that Mad Men commercial tries to get the WD crowd
-
Hmm... interesting observation...

Lol Jim, even tho WD makes an effort for character developement, I can't recall most of their character names. In this thread I've heard of the black dude referred to as T-Dog. I can't remember his real name so that's why I called him T-Dog too. There ya have it. On a side note I find it interesting who posts at certain times due mostly to the time differences and also because of people going to sleep early or just staying up cause they can.

It would have helped if Bruce was a team leader from the very beginning and wasn't all about Bruce. And I'm a big Bruce fan. Some people can handle the transition of handling more resposibilities over their life and some can't. Looks like we have one that can, plus some.

Jboyst, an ordained preacher you had? You must've said a few certain things to really open her up. Most of you have me beat. All I can attest to is being taken home by a 45+ year old when I was 27. We were all out clubbing with friends and she happened to kno friends I knew. When it came time to go our separate ways in a cab she clutched my arm and said I'm going home with her. Being 27, drunk and horny I said sure why not. Gulp, she wasn't much to look at but she was rail thin which I like and she had nips that could cut diamonds so all in all it wasn't such a bad night. If you have a chance to date an older refined and naughty lady then go for it and enjoy the experience. The lady I met wasn't that refined but, u can't be too choosey for hookups. If anyone here who's single has the chance to spend intimate time with a quality older lady then by all means do so. Not many bad things can come from a romp in the hay with an older lady who can take care of herself and who knows what she wants. There's an abundance of good advice in this thread. Just enjoy the experience.

Aj Im a big Buscemi fan as well. Buftex I'm looking forward to Boardwalk Empire even getting better. I think I'll give Weeds another shot simply for the fact that Mary Louise-Parker is getting hotter and hotter in my book (ok really hot). I think it's her smile that really seals the deal. Damn what a vixenous smile! Mad Men is a superb show. Might have to purchase the whole series when it's all out. Ooh ya and to make this post pertain to The Walking Dead, T-Dog has a shot of following Dale's path simply cause he's just not getting lines lately. Hmm... but what if I'm wrong and he grows into his roll and becomes the first hero of any series to have the fewest lines ever?

It's just quite refreshing that Dareus has such physical talent paired with the mentality that he has (in a Bills uniform). A powerful combo. Stevie and Freddie are also up there as well. In football you just can't go wrong with physical and mental talent. They complement each other big time and Buffalo is garnering these traits. Dareus is a Beast and he will lead as well. Not too shabby at all.

He's like a rookie Bruce Smith but with leadership abilities right from the get go. I like how this young man carries himself and what he expects of his teammates. KW and Dareus not only with their physical talents but also with their fortitude will be a formidable duo and will help mold the team into what they expect. Winners! I especially like that as a rookie Dareus stepped up and proclaimed he did not want anyone who didn't want to be there to be near him. This says a lot from a rook. Rookies say stuff all the time but this humble yet confident rook expects to be respected about his views and I believe he is. Very very good sign as to what is being built.

There needs to be more zombie mayhem going on soon! Aj, the other night I watched weeds for the first time. 5 episodes, tried to get into it because I heard it's good but not sure I can get to another episode although I might try. It's almost too chickish. Mary Louise-Parker is growing on me tho. Got Boardwalk Empire (just finished first episode) and on the 2nd and so far it's fantastic. Walking Dead needs more violence. It's a zombie show for goodness sake!

Why We're Heading In The Right Direction
Pilsner replied to HuSeYiN1978's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buddy is fostering an atmosphere which is now agreeable to keeping and retaining our quality players. He is old and wise, he's not perfect, but he's doing a better job than his predeccessors the past decade. I'm looking forward to seeing what Doug Whaley will bring. He was probably influential in retaining Stevie. Several more steps to be taken indeed but retaining Stevie is a nice one. -
You whipper snapper you...

LA Confidential is a great movie and a must have. LA Noir as a comp game is worth looking into. I plan on getting it. Noir films are not too much for this board to handle.

I 2nd that motion big time! Just better not break the bank. He's a good piece of the puzzle.

I can be pretty blunt and deliberate but I think it's !@#$ed up what Rick was about to do considering the info they had on the kid. They sure have some varying personalities on the show to mix up the drama. Damnit didn't want to see Dale get hit like that.

What's up with the Schutzstaffel symbol on the motorcycle? I don't ride motorcycles so perhaps the SS stands for something else? Hershey is turning a new leaf, when it comes to Maggie. I hope most cops aren't like Rick, he can be too indecisive and he doesn't listen to good advice. At this point he's a weak leader. Be decisive man, and be smart. Eventually in an episode soon I see Glenn putting his foot down and growing up.

As some have already said, if she's a keeper then do what you need to do to keep her. I've seen friends and family go thru the long distant thing and it worked out for them. Distance is an obstacle but does not necessarily discount the chance of something special occuring. If you think a girl is worth it and u believe the feeling is mutual then you can never let distance deter you.

Hmm I guess most peeps thought my post was stupid or they didn't grow up in the 80's. There is a new gen of Bills fans who would prolly better relate to the 90's. I hope everyone is having a great weekend

She's pretty scary lookin John. You and San Jose need to post more often, because you two post common sense. Or rather what is too uncommon. -
Yeppers the Swedish version is pretty damn good ain't it?

Red Dawn, same here man.

Just watched Take Me Home Tonight and Bathtub Time Machine. If you had to choose just one 80's song to represent you and the 80's, (if u lived thru the 80's) which song would it be? There are so many damn great songs from this era it's hard to choose. Off hand at this moment I would pick Bizarre Love Triangle. What one single song makes u think of the 80's? If it's a pansy song, say it anyway cuz I did.
