Mike Sherman - out at Texas A&M
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You've got to be kidding me!! Why? Because you heard of him? Green Bay got rid of him because he's not a very good coach - that's why they went with McCarthy. Sherman? Let's go backward, why don't we?!?!?!?!? -
Jared Gaither Cut
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No - They shouldn't claim him. This is probably why Buddy never tried to get him when so many were clamoring for him. -
8-8 - THAT would be an accomplishment!! Who do you think we'll beat???? Maybe San Diego? Every other team we will be facing is on the upswing - getting better as the season goes on. OK, maybe the Jets aren't trnding up, but they are still better than us. We look like pathetic quitters!!

Hangartner and Evans
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's ironic our defense gets burned up the middle, week in & week out, yet opposing defenses have clogged the middle, so our offense cannot successfully use the middle of the field anymore. Now it seems our offense's favorite play is to take the snap & immediately pivot and throw to the wide-out. (And oh yeah, pray he makes a play, because, usually it goes for no gain!) -
Agreed, and that made Dareus the safer pick and best pick for the Bills. And the Bills need to draft sure things, not take fliers on Willis McGahees, Roscoe Parrishes, etc. We need to draft guys we know will contribute - Levitre, Wood, Sheppard, Dareus, Williams - we're getting better at it!

Great story . . . lookin forward to the book! -
In order to exorcise the Flutie Curse, I think one or maybe 2 things must occur: Bring Flutie back, acknowledge him and the great mistake at the Ralph Bring Wade back for a game against the Bills. (we risk a crack in the time continum here - but it could well be worth it)

Not sure what's wrong with this team. After Jets loss, I thought they'd play inspired in Dallas. Instead they were beyond flat - inexplicable!! Now they are 3 pt dogs in Miami. This should also tick them off and we should see an inspired team, but who knows what we'll get? If they play like they did the last 2 weeks it will be aa big Miaml win. If they play within themselves, they should beat Miami by 7 or more. But I am done predicting!!

When he scored, the Bills were down 21 - 6. We were losing. Looking at her, when David Nelson gave her the ball - he was the ONLY guy on the Bills who wasn't losing! What a beautiful woman!! Wow!!

Dolphins destroy KC still ranked 31
Never NEVER Give-up replied to ALLEN1QB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fishes' rankng just goes to show the EXPERTS really don't take the time to analyze the teams at the bottom of th list. We were there, teams there are considered irrelevant, so there's no need to care too much whether they are 25th or 32nd. Is it right - NO, but again they are irrelevant so they figure no one cares. -

Burress' Assault on McKelvin
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Joe13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Take away those 2 TD's and the FG after the no-pick by Wilson and its 11-10 Bills. Now this is NOT to say the Jets wouldn't have scored TD's or FG's on the 2 interference possessions, BUT it surely changed the complexion of the game and the Bills strategy. Maybe the Bills would have started to play like they did against Oak or NE. We will never know. I will also say the Bills had a couple of calls in their favor too - not to the magnitude of the interference call (& no call on Burress), but to the Jets credit they DID overcome them and kept driving. Bottom line - we lost, but I reject the premise we were manhandled as so many say. LAST YEAR we were manhandled. This year it was hard fought in the trenches and you'd have to give the Jets the edge because they won. But they won with the help of 2 calls and a no-call (not to mention the other interference calls). It was more EVEN than most say. But people only look at the final score. What are the Bills gonna do about it? They better get ticked off and go into Dallas, then Miami and dominate them like they should be able to do. This will set up the NY rematch in NEW JERSEY and I AM SURE the Bills will show up and play more physically the 2nd time around. Heck, by then the Jets, if they lose next week to the Pats, will be behind us again . . . Bills 7-3, Jets 6-4. Hey, ya'never know . . . -
If we can play this game over again
Never NEVER Give-up replied to billsfaninva's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
- Use Spiller more to attack the edge - Utilize slot receivers & TE on out patterns after outside guys take their mancoverage CB's with them down the field. This will help spread out the defense as they were clogging the middle taking away the quick slants AND it will open deeper patterns when the CB''s start to cheat on the short-to-medium out routes. just my 2 cents . . . -

Jets game and smack talk

From Eric Mack - Inside Fantasy Football - CNN-Si N.Y. Jets at Buffalo Start 'em • QB Mark Sanchez, RB Shonn Greene, WR Santonio Holmes, TE Dustin Keller, K Nick Folk, D/ST Jets This is about as crucial of a game the Jets can face coming off their bye week and they get a defense that is in the bottom 10 against QBs, RBs and TEs. It amounts to a "start all" game for your Jets. You should get solid production out of all the guys above and should even consider Plaxico Burress in deeper leagues. Sanchez hasn't been good, but he is going to be his best yet here. Sit 'em • QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, WR Steve Johnson, TE Scott Chandler, D/ST Bills While we love the Jets here, you should not like any of your Bills, even if they are home. Fred Jackson has to start in all leagues -- and he is facing the sixth-worst team against RBs in fantasy -- but the Jets run defense is going to improve and won't render a great day for the Bills' leading offensive threat. Fitzpatrick is facing the No. 1 team in fantasy against QBs and Johnson is going to draw Darrelle Revis and a Jets team No. 3 against WRs. Chandler's red-zone TDs returned last week, but the Bills might not score a touchdown in this one. Aikman as Analyst
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Rivermont Mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
a couple of points * Aikman admitted he knew little of the Bills - rarely does their games and hasn't seen a lot of them * Did you note the faint prise for Gailey? He hated playing under him in Dallas, felt he was a Super Bowl QB and won with the old offense, he resented Gailey and led to Gailey's ouster. -
Maybin has 0.5 less sacks than our entire team

Maybe, when we play the jets and it's 3rd and 8, we can run right at him 'cause we know he'll never hold the edge. -
