  1. ....in 1993. The "No huddle" was unstoppable back then too, how'd that work out this year? If Leach is such a scary good game planner well then what happenend in the Ole Miss game when the "genius" had over a month to gameplan? He threw out the same old garbage offense against a SEC defense and they got smashed. So much for adapting and innovation. Senator also doesn't want to mention that Texas Tech's success is largely due to it's soft scheduling. TT's non conference schedule consists of a 1AA team, New Mexico and Rice who have combined for 1 win this year and Houston who they lost to. '08- 2 more 1AA teams, SMU (1 win) and Nevada '07- 1AA team, SMU (1 Win), UTEP (4 wins), Rice (3 wins) Mike Leach is June Jones!
  2. If he's such a great coach then why are other COLEGE teams not lining up at his door? And thanks for the college football lesson about the spread. The point is not that he runs the spread, BUT IT"S THE ONLY OFFENSE THAT HE"S EVER RUN! His offense doesn't work in the NFL and after almost 20 years of running the spread, you think he's going to have a seamless transition into a balanced pro style offense? There are a ton of "offensive genius's" in college football who have been 100x's more successful then Leach (Rich Rod, Meyer, C. Peterson) but there is a reason that they are not in the NFL.
  3. MOVE ON! Looking at the past is what got us into this mess! Hire someone who's never been to Buffalo outside of the visiting sidelines! We need a NEW CULTURE! Not this myopic point of view, where every QB is Kelly, RB Thurm and DE Bruce! God some fans are so sad!!!!!!!!!!
  4. WE LANDED ON THE MOON!!!!!!!
  5. Living in the past is what got us into this mess. Can someone please erase Marv Levy's phone number from Ralph's contact list!
  6. Has there ever been a true spread offense that was successful in the NFL? Leach should try the UFL, BS offenses like that might sell a few more tix.
  7. Your obsession is clouding your already suspect judgement. His one dimensional offense would fail and others like it have failed. Speaking of one dimensional, your posts are tired.
  8. He hires guys who are egoless and won't get in the way of his vision for the team. If you can look at those numbers and think that Levy was a "great" coach without Polian, than you sir are the idiot. Levy's success was simply a case of being in the right place at the right time. You would've never heard of Pippen if it wasn't for Jordan. As far as what his players say about him, he let them do whatever the hell they wanted to do and that is the truth. Again, we could debate Levy as a coach all day long. My original point was that his success as a coach has nothing to do with his tenure as a GM. He was a horrible GM and put us in the position that we are in. He's even gone on record defending his moves. That being said, saying FU to the guy is crazy. However, saying FU to Bledsoe or Flutie............
  9. Marv Levy was a 31 -42 before he met Polian. Dom Capers was 26-22 with Polian on an expansion team. 22- 58 without Polian. Tony Dungy went 54-42 without Polian. 85 and 27 with Polian. .759 WINNING %!!!!! In 8 years as HC of Wake Forest, Jim Caldwell had a total of 12 wins. In his first season as HC of the Colts, they are undefeated at 9 and 0 and will surpass 12 wns. So let me get this straight, you think it's the coaches who make Polian who he is?
  10. Some mistakes? -Jauron -Awful drafts -terrible FA signees What else can a GM do to be the worst GM... oh wait, Matt Millen was one of his contemporaries. Okay, he was the 2nd worst GM.
  11. I don't see what one has to do with the other. He was an average coach who caught on with the best GM in the history of the NFL. Polian put together an unreal roster of talent including multiple pro bowlers and HOF'ers and Marv got the keys to the Ferarri. And somehow because he was the beneficiary of that he's immune to criticism? And those who criticize aren't Bills fans? He was a horrible GM, his first FA signees were Fowler, Price, Reyes, Tripplett, Royal and Nall. He followed that with two terribe drafts, YEAH TWO TERRIBLE DRAFTS! I'm sorry that you are the President of the Bills Fan Club but loyalty is the reason why the Bills are in this mess. I wouldn't say FU to Marv, but I'd tell him that he is THE main reason why the Bills are in a tailspin.
  12. what does we have to lose by throwing the effiin ball on 3rd!
  13. like match play in golf, we concede this match
  14. kick away from leon washington
  15. Jauron will make the tough choice
  16. Fitz is running this offense better than Trent. There is just no way to argue that.
  17. Denny's jock is more of a tweener
  18. Weird! Wilson was there for the cutback!
  19. In 6 games Byrd has as many career picks as Lil Donte!
  20. Wrong. They were playing man. Donte walked down over the TE and we were in one high. Donte had cutback. Go back and watch it.
  21. Jenkins is so 2000 and late!
  22. Watch it again dummy. Byrd is high, Ellison plays his lane and Jones cuts back. Who has cutback? Backside DE and the SS! Stick to moderating.
  23. You had trouble last week too. Byrd was man high and yes he missed his tackle but Donte had cutback.
  24. LB's didnt overrun that play, our feerless leader Donte had cutback.
