Weis's comments about Pete Carroll are reprehesible and classless. I'm guessing Weis made those comments because of the things that USC's staff have told recruits (specifically Clausen) about Weis during his recruitment. USC staff were sick of Weis having recruiting success in California. Remember, USC is probably playing in the National Championship game this year if they had Clausen who was the top recruit in the country and from Cali. That being said, saying that Weis has done nothing is absurd. Let's start by the fact that he developed Tom Brady and Brady gives him all of the credit. They still stay in touch and Brady recently said that any team would be lucky to have him. Let's move on to Brady Quinn, who was horrible until Weis got there. If Weis never goes to ND, Quinn is lucky to get drafted. And now he's developed another QB in Clausen who will be the first QB picked in this years draft. Not to mention, he created and installed NE's offense which led them to 3 SBs. So maybe you should take another look at his resume, it looks pretty friggen good to me.

Tebow is a great college football player and a truly unbelievable person. I've never seen a player in any team sport so revered by his teammates, coaches and fans and he deserves every bit of it. That being said, he's not even close to the athlete that VY is. Tebow's game is power, not finesse or speed. Lowering your head in the NFL just ain't gonna work and he's not an elusive guy at all. Since he's become the starter his rushing average is around 4. VY's was around 7. And that's not to say Tebow's isn't great, 55 TD's (20+ being rushing) during his sophmore year was just unreal. But while Tebow was lowering his head for a couple of yards around the goaline, Vince Young was running past a defense of the repeat National Champs on a 20+ game winning streak and single handedly won that game. Tebow always had Harvin and without him this year and even part of last year, Tebow looks like a different guy. I'm not saying that Tebow will not be successful. Based on his will and drive alone the guy seems capable of doing pretty much anything he wants to do in life. But I do think he will take years to develop. He's has to be reprogrammed, no more putting your head down to get the extra yard (See Eric Berry in the UT game this year), no more full time shotgun and no more personell advantages that he enjoys at Florida. Tebow is worthy of a 1st round pick, but with a team that is willing to be patient and sit him behind a vet who is willing to groom him and a coaching staff who is capable of grooming! That doesn't sound like the Bills to me.

The article is not about concern over BB's health. It's about Florio's ludicrous theory that Tomlin "might" want to replace BB in the future the same way he replaced Willie Parker. The problem is that Mendenhall was a 1st round pick who fits the mold of past Steelers RB's. Parker is a much smaller back who has never been able to stay healthy and is an average RB. BB on the other hand is a top tier QB who has 2 Super Bowl rings in 5 years, a winning % over 70% and is only 27. When it comes to once in a lifetime QB's like BB, 66 million dollars is nothing to pay. If anything, the Steelers will probably rip that contract up in a year or two and give him even more. But again, my point is, where are the facts? The sources? There are none. He's become a mix of Glenn Beck, Perez Hilton and Chris Mortenson.

I've been a PFT fan for a very long time, but Florio's act for the past year has been more Perez Hilton than anything. It's obvious that all of his sources are dried up because the only thing he posts are Glazer and Schefter stories. But it's not just his cut and paste act that is turning me off to the site, it's the fact that he is constantly making up stories where there are none. The TO stuff earlier in the year was ridiculous but this article about Big Ben is nothing short of absurd. He's basically trying to say that Tomlin "might" be grooming Dennis Dixon to replace Big Ben.....HUH!?!?!?. I can't believe that there is anyone out there who still cares about JP. For all of those fans who think JP can still play, ask yourself this question. Why would a young QB who was a 1st round draft pick with all of the physical tools not get a sniff in free agency? Because he sucks! There were 30+ GMs and coaches who passed on him. Nuff said.

Yeah, college program weights are always accurate! Brittle, yes. He's been knocked out of 3 games prior to this season and once he lost that Oline of All Americans, he could only handle 60 snaps this year. Let's take a look at what the top 4 Big 12 teams did last year in the bowl games against NON CONFERENCE OPPONENTS! Florida put up 480 yds on OU Ohio St. put up 380 yds. on Texas. OSU was 69th in total offense Ole Miss put up 550 yds and 47 points on TEXAS TECH (WOW, great coaching job Leach!) Oregon put up 560 yds on Okla. St. OPPONENTS AVERAGED 500 YDS. OF OFFENSE PER GAME AGAINST THE TOP 4 BIG 12 TEAMS IN BOWL GAMES!!!!! The Big 12 was exposed last bowl season. The bottom of the Big 12 is the worst of any BCS conference and Kansas and Mizzou's time is up as well. Kansas FRIGGEN State had a shot at the North until last week! Outside of Nebraska, the Big 12 Defenses are a joke. Clausen has taken a beating this year and if you watched any of those games you'd know that he's blameless for ND's season. More Bills myopia. Every QB has to be like Kelly, every DE has to be Bruce, etc. Here's a newsflash, those guys are one of a kind HOFers. The thinking that every new Bill has to be like one from the 90's is ridiculous. What about Bradford reminds you of Kelly? He is tall, skiny and brittle. The guy had all of his success behind a great OLine in a league where they play ZERO defense. When he played against a real defense (Florida) who pressured him he didn't look like the same QB did he? Any QB from the BIG 12 scares me because that league doesn't believe in defense. PASS.

Wrong! -The coaches don't put him in the right position to make plays. -The Bills don't have a strong pass rush. -He's played to many positions and hasn't been able to settle into one. -Everyone around him sucks. -He doesn't play for the Ravens.

I hate ND but I've watched every game this year because every game had been fun to watch. If you think Clausen is overrated you are crazy. He's got great size and he can make every throw WITH ACCURACY. His Oline has been terrible all year but that doesn't make him impatient. He changes his arm angle better than any QB that I've ever watched play. His deep ball is always accurate and he never floats the ball like Quinn who routinley threw hot air balloons. On top of that, he's been in a pro system under Weis, who is an offensive genius (not a great head coach). Unlike almost every QB coming out in the draft, he takes the majority of his snaps under center. Tebow, Mccoy , and Bradford all have spent the majority of their careers in shotgun in spread systems and I believe that they will take years to develop if at all. Mark my words, once the tape is broken down, Clausen will be the #1 pick and I pray that the Bills get him.
