  1. Dude, you are like a PR machine! I love how you have adopted the mentality that it takes 3-4 seasons to rebuild! Do you even hear yourself? Are you telling me that Nix couldn't have addressed the O Line in the first TWO drafts!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe that you don't hear how freeking silly you sound with that sh*t!
  2. Fitz didn't have a chance in the pocket last night. Guys were running free, Bell was a turnstile once again, Pears was terrible and Wood was getting destroyed by a guy who was cut 2 weeks ago. Stop it!
  3. If Buddy knew this he would have addressed the most glaring need on the team for the last decade. The Spiller pick will forever puzzle me and that was the way the Nix regime kicked off their campaign...well that and the Green signing.
  4. If the Bills were coming off of a string of playoff runs then you might have a point. If the team was 1 game out of the playoffs last year then you might have a point. If the Bills weren't in the same division with the Pats and the Jets then you might have a point. It's called progression. For the past 5-7 years, the offensive line has been terrible and this game held up that tradition. Keep waiting for Bell to be Jason Peters, keep picking washed up scrubs off practice squads and keeping telling yourself that this year is different.
  5. Pryor needs to go somewhere like NE, Jets or Baltimore. He is an immature, entitled baby who needs a strong lockeroom to straighten him out. Not to mention that he WILL NEVER BE A PRO QB. His accuracy is awful and his biggest plays through the air were usually him running around and finding a guy wide open. He's a terrible leader too. If he'd be willing to go rigt to WR/TE I think he'd be a good fit in this offense in the slot but that's what we have Nelson for. No shot Nix takes him.
  6. That's why we drafted Maybin! To make our offensive line look good!
  7. Has anyone considered that a life long, convicted felon who conned hundreds of business men out of a billion dollars might be exaggerating? -There is only one player who has corroborated the story. -There are a bunch of bank statements and receipts without players names. The guy had tons of clients! Those receipts couldn't be for his clients? -There are no pictures of the CURRENT players at this house. Only guys from 2000-2002. There is no doubt that some of this is true but to believe that this story isn't exaggerated is a bit naive.
  8. I am sick to my stomach over the Miami story. Unreal that these coaches, who are now at Bama, Florida, Mizzou, would the players to this guy.
  9. ac·count·a·bil·i·ty   /əˌkaʊntəˈbɪlɪti/ Show Spelled[uh-koun-tuh-bil-i-tee] Show IPA noun 1. the state of being accountable, liable, or answerable. Very rare on these boards......
  10. Not saying that Stinchcomb is worth is but Buddy has shown that he doesn't believe in the Oline. .
  11. I'm not in favor of the Bills running a true spread. Like every other scheme in the NFL the Bills will have a base offense but multiple schemes. Coaches in the NFL realize that running one scheme will get you killed. Charlie Weiss is the greatest offensive mind in the game. If you look at his offenses over the years they never look the same. He adapts to personnel and conditions and that is why guys like Brady Quinn, Clausen and Cassell looked like world beaters in his offense. Gailey is doing the same thing and bringing something a little different if they use Brad Smith the way that I think they will. If it fails, then it's hard to blame Gailey beacuse he's playing the hand that he's been dealt. Nix is the one who forgot how to do 2 things at once (Build O&D lines simultaneously). BTW, I listen to your boy Leach on Rivals radio all of the time. He is such a smart guy but someone should buy him a book on emotional intelligence. He buries himself every time he takes the mic.
  12. While the Bears O line was bad it's not like Kelsay was ringing up sacks. Merriman showed an array of pass rush moves and relentlessness that we haven't seen in a Bills uniform in a long time. Dareus splitting double teams wasn't by mistake. He does "crazy" things like use his hands and counter moves in order too pressure the QB. Bottom line is that the Bears O Line IS bad. But a HEALTHY Merriman, Dareus and Williams are going to be super bad a**!
  13. What are these "trick/gadget" plays that people speak of? Bubble screens? Quick hitches? Running the Qb out of the spread? These are not "trick/gadget" plays. They are part of the spread offense. They are plays that maximize the Bills personnel. I didn't see any double reverses, double passes, fleet flickers or hook and ladders. Those are trick/gadget plays. Gailey is smart. He doesn't have an O line so he is spreading out opposing defenses and getting the front 7 off of the field and making DB's make tackles. Sounds like good coaching to me.
  14. That is so depressing in so many ways. The most depressing being that those poor people have to live in Youngstown...

  16. Agree with you on Carrington playing OLB. There is no way that he can play in space, cover and change direction well enough to play OLB. The reason why Kelsay is commented on a lot is because posters like you continue to say that he looks "good" when he wasn't, never has been and never will be. It took him exactly one play last night to show why he sucks....just one.
  17. You must have missed Chicago's first play on offense.
  18. I don't see how Carrington isn't the guy. He'll be starting over that scrub very soon.
  19. I've said this before and I really don't think that you're going to see a lot of it in the Preseason. They are going to keep it pretty close to the vest. Again, Gailey is being forced to do this because the O line is bad. I'm excited to see what it looks like when Chan unleashes it a bit more.
  20. Thats because your boy Brohm was playing QB. I kid, I kid.
  21. Kelly, I'm not trying to be combative here but you are wrong. Kelsay went inside and Hester ran right around him. Actually, Kelsay ws so out of positionthat the pulling guard didn't bother to block him and turned up field. I'm sitting here watching it again. If Kelsay is in the correct spot, Hester is turned up inside for a loss or Kelsay makes the TFL. And who cares if it wasn't a big play. If Kelsay does his job the Bears are looking at 2nd and long not 2nd and 7. Advantage defense at that point because the offense has to pass and the D can tee off.
