The rule is bad. I get the blatant shots to the head but expecting a DB to try and make the perfect hit on a WR coming at him 100 mph isn't reasonable. It's slowing down the game and making the product watered down.

Some of the best safties in NFL history would not be able to play today. Dennis Smith, Ronnie Lott, Steve Atwater.....all to physical! This past weekend, Stanford had a drive extended in the 4th qtr on a 3rd down personal foul. The safety made a beautiful play on the ball and broke up the pass. The flag was thrown (1st down Stanford) and Stanford finished the drive with a TD and went on to win the game. It's getting out of hand.

Anyone watching the Monday nighter? That hit on McLean was a good clean hit and the flag came out immediately. The refs are going to throw the flag on a good hit every time. It's really starting to ruin the game for me (unless the Bills are the beneficiary).

Spiller should be getting at least 5 carries per game. Not only to keep Freddy fresh but to further develop CJ. Both can only help the team as the season goes on.

Dareus is going to be great. He's been rock solid at a position that has the toughest learning curve next to QB as a rookie. He's able to play multiple position (0,3,5) and he's been disruptive all year long. Buddy actually got that one right. Quinn had one good year at UNC. He has 4 tackles and 2 sacks this year. Relax.

None of those guys that I mentioned would be starting (except Sheppard) if it wasn't for injury. I mean, you'd hope they could beat out Kelsay and Merriman. Where is the impact?

Yeah, Moats, Batten, Shepp and Carrington are scary talented. I'm not saying that Edwards is any good but the Bills are lacking talent on defense as well and Buddy should take the blame for that.

Why not? Because he's shot! Do you seriously need more proof? Even when he was healthy (which has been one game in 4 years) he looked good against the worst O line in the NFL. Big deal. I'm sure he's a great guy and a leader but at this point the only thing he will be doing is taking reps away from others (that's if he can get onto the field.) Hopefully Buddy gets it through his thick skull that an edge rusher is one of the most impactful positions in football and he drafts one before the 5th round.
