  1. I want to see him run the ball hard, show his speed and make some fools miss in the open field. I don't care about yards or TDs, just progress. Btw, the Jets are 17th vs the run and have given up the 4th most rushing TDs
  2. Donte is not a terrible player. He's an average safety who is versatile. Kind of a jack of all trades and a master of none. At times, it looked like Lil D was allergic to the football. His mouth should go in the hall of fame though.
  3. I'm not on a Bills message board because I am not a fan. I watched CJ play a bunch in college. I remember screaming at the television when Tommy Bowden gave him 8 carries against Bama in the opener 4 years ago. He was a tremendous talent in college. I want to see him revert back to that college form. I don't care what his yardage total is or how many TD's he scores. I want to see explosiveness and decisiveness. I want to see a guy who will leave Chan no choice but to gt him the ball next year.
  4. I'm guessing that you never were involved in organized sports after 8th grade because you don't understand competition. No one likes to be taken out of the game regardless of scrimmage, 4th qtr or injury . It was clear that he was the best guy so his view was that it was bullsh*t. It turns out he was completely right. I guess that you'd rather have players who relinquish their positions easily. FJ has a massive chip on his shoulder from playing at a D3 school, going undrafted, being on the practice squad and having already outperformed one first round pick he knows how easily things can slip away and he wasn't going to let it happen. 943 yds at 5.5 a clip and I guess it worked for him.
  5. Arian Foster is pretty good and Tate is getting about 10-12 touches per game. Why? Because Tate is averaging 5.6 per rush! The point is, if Gailey thought Spiller was any good he would be finding ways to get him the ball regardless of FJ's success but he's not. Now he has to prove that he can play against the 17th ranked run D.
  6. You don't understand competition. FJax wasn't whining, he was pissed because he knew that he was way better than CJ and was obviously right. FJ should have never been taken out of the lineup in the first place but there was obvious pressure to get CJ involved so Nix could save face for an awful pick. The Jets rank 17th against the run and have allowed the 4th most rushing TD's this year. Maybe they should start CJ out with some baby steps and see if they can re-enroll him college to regain his form. Seriously, I've never seen so many BS excuses in my life.
  7. Go look and see how many FA's were on those Patriots teams that won 3 out of 4 SBs. Antwan Smith RB, Wiggins TE, M. Copmton OG, B Hamilton DE, A. Pleasnt DE, Vrabel, LB Bryan Cox LB, Roman Phipher LB, T Buckley CB were all Free agents who started in '01. Not to mention that Moss and Welker were FA as well. I noiced that you didn't mention Nix's first daft. I guess you're giving him a mulligan.
  8. Donte Whitner aka Lil Donte aka Twitner Aaron Maybin Buddy Nix
  9. Hahahah, they are the 17th ranked rush defense in the league. They've also given up the 4th most rushing TDs this year.
  10. Relax BV, Buddy needs one more draft and we're going to the Super Bowl!
  11. Let's try applying some logic to the CJ Spiller situation. How good can he be if he was the current regimes inaugural pick and he can't sniff the field? Fred Jackson was playing out of his mind but so is Arian Foster and somehow Tate gets 10-15 touches per game. This leads me to think that Gailey is underwhelmed by him. So my thought on this situation is that we are going to find out what Gailey already knows...he's just not that good. I hope he's great but I am not a superfan so I apologize for starting this post.
  12. Geez, I wish I could be the super fan that you are some day. Instead of reacting to the first sentence or the title of the post, read through it. The problem with some of you Pollyanna posters is that you are so quick to attack anything that isn't pro-Bills that your replies don't wind up making sense. The ... are very dramatic...reading comprehension...try it...
  13. I don't need to see 25 att for 150 and 3 tds. I need to see a guy who uses his speed and vision to make plays. I need to see a guy make a move in the open field and is decisive. I need to see a RB who runs with conviction not folds when a hole the size of Nix's mouth opens up in front of him. And the WR excuse is so lame. He's was one of the best RBs coming out of Florida in high school and then again in college. The guy didn't forget how to play RB. Seriously man, take that break because you are not making sense.
  14. My opinion is that IF he is SO good that he would be stealing 5-10 touches a game from FJax. Gailey knows that an NFL RB cannot take a full season of carries so if Chan thought Spiller was so spectacular, he would be getting his regardless of Freddie. Btw, did you see his goaline run last week? Maybe one of the softest plays that I've ever seen in football.
  15. Fixed it. It's a formula that ESPN just made up because they can.
  16. I have visions of Spiller at the goaline folding like a tent last week. I cannot believe this is the same guy that I watched dominate in college. He looks like he's lost all confidence. If he has a poor performance this week against the Jets (17th rush D), I think he's well on his way to being a bust. There is to much on the line for him and the Bills. I want to see the #9 pick take this game over and prove to Gailey and the brain-trust at OBD that they MUST make room for him in the backfield regardless of how well FJax has been playing.
  17. I say pull him! Let's see if Dalton can play or not....oh wait, Buddy passed on Dalton!
  18. I like RG3. Can't believe Texas let that guy slip through their hands. But if the Bills go QB, go get Barkley. Do everything that you can to get him. Plays in a pro style offense at USC and is a great decision maker. He is pin point accurate, has a strong arm and is a great leader. He's dealt with a ton of adversity at USC and has a an edge to him which I love.......BUT WAIT, HE"S FROM CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Floyd and Jeffery are both big and slow. Jeffery came into camp this year fat and out of shape and Floyd has had personal issues since day one at ND. Broyles is a nice possession type WR who is small and coming off of a torn ACL. Blackmon is a stud but he'll be long gone by the time the Bills pick. The pick should be an edge rusher. It doesn't matter if it's a 4-3 DE or and 3-4 OLB. The guy the Bills draft needs to provide a a rush off the edge and be stout at the POA. Upshaw from Bama does both, especially if the Bills want to stick to the 3-4. He is an instant impact player, not in the mold of Miller, but he stronger against the run as well as the pass. Another guy that stands out to me is Melvin Ingram from South Carolina. He plays inside and outside on the DL and I'm not sure that he can play 3-4 OLB but he is going to make some team very happy on draft day.
  20. That's not saying much. Outside of Barnett, most of Nix's FA signings have been disastrous. How about that 2010 draft? Nix was a ridiculously bad hire and his first two years have proven that. I like Gailey but he has me scratching my head lately. The inability to adjust to defenses that have obviously adjusted to what the Bills are doing is mind boggling. I'm holding out hope for him but I don't see this team being much more than a .500 team next year and in the 3rd year that is simply not good enough.
  21. Come on, you know Buddy's rule is he doesn't trade down. How's that working for him? I've said from the very beginning that Nix was a joke and it's hard to argue anything but at this point.
  22. Dareus over Green. Outside of Suh (who plays in a 1 gap defense), name another DT that came in and dominated? He's playing with nothing around him right now as well. He will be a pro bowler for years to come so I'm not worried. Now Williams over Dalton looks to be another miss by Buddy. Buddy is a complete disaster. His first draft Rivals the Marv regime's worst.
