Pro football focus lists the top DT'/3-4 DE's so far this year and the Bills very own Marcel Dareus is right up there at the top with the best of them. For all you saying that he's not looking good keep in mind that DT/NT/3-4 DE is one of the most physically demanding positions in the game and usually has one of the biggest learning curves for rookies. He's playing more games than he ever has and doesn't get a break with the occasional Alcorn St. game. CB97, we've had some good fun on these boards and I respect your opinions. But your assertion that the "realists" should do something better is a little bit off. Maybe people are stuck in offices, in a car or airports and just want to kill time on here. I'm in medical sales and I sit in the OR ALL DAY either in cases (that can last for 5 hours) or waiting in lounges for a client so I kill time on here (and other websites). I'm actually glad that my life isn't so important that I can jump on here every once in a while and mix it up. Among the many mistakes that this franchise makes on a yearly basis, picking RBs in the 1st round is mind numbing. Arian Foster, Freddy, Gore, Rice, Forte, Turner...........are pretty decent.

After 2 years of the "rebuild" look at all of the needs that the Bills still have there. Two starting OLB's (Which are the most important and impactful positions in a 3-4), a true NT, 2 CBs and a ton of depth especially at OLB. What the hell has done in the two previous years? I'm not a fan of Edwards but when he's got Spencer Johnson, Chris Kelsay and Danny Batten at THE most important position on D, what the hell is he supposed to do?

He should have never been hired in the first place. "Genius" personnel execs don't usually get their first big break at 70. I'm not saying that you fire him but it's just delaying the inevitable. Other than Barnett and a couple of average street free agents, what has Buddy done in two years? There is not an impact player on this team that he brought in whether it be through the draft or FA. How's that "rebuilt" defense looking after two years? I guess you give him a third year but this off season will be the most challenging by far.
