I liked Marrone and really wanted him to succeed in Buffalo, but now I really hope he doesnt get hired by any team. If that happens, I will laugh.

After reading the title of this thread -

The 2nd time can be the charm in the NFL for some guys. With this being the case, I wouldnt mind seeing Josh McDaniels in Buffalo. I think he could be successful.

He thought he was so smart turning the Bills down. The guy is only relevant because of his dad. Oh well, he'll be gone and forgotten soon.

He claimed to be worth millions. However, I'm pretty sure his net worth is far less than that.

He is the greatest RB in Bills history (sorry Thurman). Hell, you could even make the argument that he's the best RB in NFL history. He was lucky to get off on the murder charges. However, he got hosed on the robbery charges and sentence. Keep him on the wall.

I'm not a huge fan of the guy.. but I think Chud got a raw deal in Cleveland.

Hilarious! This really made me laugh, seriously. But come on, hiring competent personnel is important. Look at the Chan Gailey hiring of Dave Wannstedt. Wannstedt led quite possibly the worst Buffalo defense of ALL TIME. Then Mike Pettine is hired and the D is legit. The difference is like day and night (granted run D wasn't great, but all things considered). I think Big Tuna would be good in Buffalo. I'm usually against old timers (i.e. Polian), but this one is different.

Very good, but Parcells canned that chump Cam Cameron and hired the new coaches, so he indirectly had a hand in it. HA!

You missed my point. What I was getting at is Parcells thinks outside the box. He goes to the Fish and comes up with a concept that the whole league tries to copy. The guy is a football genius. Hopefully if the Bills got him he would use his football smarts and think up another great and innovative idea to make the Bills good, and the rest of the league envious. I wish I could give an example, but my technical knowledge of football formations is limited.

Who wrote this article? Seems like it could be half the users that post on the TBD forums. The writer must come here often.

#8 - We didn't get Bill Polian. Contrary to what many believe, this is actually a good thing that he backed out. An old 72 year old isn't what the Bills need right now. See that Marv Levy experiment as a reason why it wouldn't have worked.

All things considered, an ownership change during mid season was going to lead to something like this. Let Terry sort it out, this should really only happen once.
