I would say some AFC teams. I know we had an awesome winning streak against the bUNgLeS that was over like ten years. That ended in 2011 I believe. Also, maybe the Browns since they are close to Buffalo and and comparable in many ways.

Yea the 90s were great and I’m forever grateful the team is in Buffalo.. but come on. The team was on a 15 plus year playoff drought when he passed before new ownership got us back. Thats the mentality around here I always hated. Our standards are so pathetically low we will take a team being in Buffalo. Who cares if they are any good as long as we have a team. 15 years and no playoffs? Not something to advertise.

Agreed. I think he had a couple decent seasons with the fish. He knows the AFC east as well. I don’t think he will be a push over, like a lot of the posters on this thread are implying.

I don’t know if I totally agree with this. You could make a strong argument that Jackson led the Ravens to the playoffs. The AFC north was a tight division that came down to the last week of the season. You gotta roll with the hot hand, and Jackson was hot. I do think he should have been benched yesterday though. Jackson didn’t do anything in the first half. The game wasn’t out of reach at that point. That’s when you put in your vet who has a Super Bowl ring.

That’s what I was thinking when I was watching yesterday. Your rookie QB Jackson hadn’t done anything and it’s now the 3rd quarter of a playoff game. PUT IN FLACCO. I thought it might happen, but it didn’t.
