  1. Any chance you might be honest enough to realize over 95% of all blacks are voting Obama not because of one issue he promotes but because he's black and has a "D" next to his name which represents freebies for millions on welfare with the same skin color?
  2. You're precisely the problem with the country. You don't know what a right is, how it is to be used, or how it fits into liberty. You can't say one has the right to liberty and health care by gunpoint. I know that might be hard for you to understand, but they are incompatible, no matter who votes for it.
  3. So it's not ok for the country to know he had connections for several years with a known terrorist? When is this off-limits and what is within the limits? If the media won't point out his connections to this why can't others make it known? I can't stand McCain, but I can't figure out why this is such a taboo anymore if it's legitimate.
  4. Political suicide vs national suicide is the question. Libs want national suicide and win elections. I consider both major parties liberal with spending and both rushing to suicide. One party wants to do faster than the other, but I'm not so sure after Bush.
  5. About Fred Jackson: start him and see what happens. I haven't seen Marshawn get 1st downs with any regularity because of his lack of vision of the field. I'm not saying pull him for a whole game, but try Jackson for the first 8 or so carries, and have Lynch be the reliever. I know that doesn't sit well with the fan-boys, but he's earned it. The guy just runs like Thurman, I completely agree. The 5 yarder he ran I thought "Thurman?" The guy has more potential than Lynch. I know that's blasphemy around here, but the same was said in SD when Tomlinson was looking slower than Turner last year. One game would be a great experiment, and not just an experiment because he's earning it. Anthony Thomas was easy to point out and state put Fred ahead, but it's time we do the same with Lynch. Jackson needs that chance, I think 1st rounder be damned until we try it. The last time we did he put up numbers Lynch has never accomplished on an above average D with Washington. The guy brings too many dimensions Lynch doesn't: better vision, glides fantastic, better receiver, and runs up the field rather than try to side-step. Sorry, the guy has earned his chance.
  6. Let's take the word average, apply it to all starting LT and see if they allowed as many sacks, pressures, and fumbles from their DE. He's been way below average, and that's being nice. He has sucked wang is a better way of expressing it.
  7. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER be a good NFL starter. Ignore me, but that's just a fact, he just can't process the game right. Have you ever seen him hit anyone on slants, or any full speed move except the long-ball consistently? The guy isn't accurate. The O is designed to make pass plays where the WR is stationary so JP can hit them. If the D shut down AZ then JP would have looked o.k, but NFL starter material unless Lee broke free 2 or 3 times a game deep and people would blindly forget he hardly ever hits anyone on the numbers on the run.
  8. I think we watch the same game. Jackson looks better in this blocking scheme, Peters had some stinkers and yes should be benched. We are rewarding poor play, and severely poor play.
  9. I said the same thing before the game. Warner can only be stopped with blitzes. You are not going to go man2man with WRs and have one of the best pure passers a chance to win. He wins more than he losses those battles and I've never seen a Warner offense not score over 24 points without a lot of pressure. I watched a lot of Cardinals games this year with multi-set TVs and NFL ticket. I knew if we didn't knock him off his rocker we would get blown up. That's what a finely tuned O looks like.
  10. Exactly, we would have had a chance. A chance in the NFL is all you need. We had no chance with JP.
  11. Yes. 2 receptions is not acceptable. Sure he had 100 yards, but 87 was from 1 play for a TD. We need a chain moving WR who will keep the D fresh. I know that might come as a shock to some people, but a burner is great to have, and Lee is a burner and has great hands. He's no Larry Fitz. Fitz had less yards but he was accountable more to the team for moving the chains, making the D know where he was. Lee was manned up 1-on-1 and he was a factor for all of one play. For the rest of the game what did he contribute as a WR? (notice I said as a WR as his reverse was fantastic) I've seen #1 WRs, and they do more to the team than hit home-runs. If you want the Yankees mentality of homer (literally and figuratively) ball or bust than Lee's your man. Lee hasn't proven he's a true #1.
  12. Giants lost some stinkers last year. I'm not depressed yet. Our D is a fraud, so is Peters.
  13. It's not annoying or disingenuous. You are telling me libs don't want hate speech laws on Christian statements? Either you are a complete moron or an ignoramus. I suppose your ignorant and will give you the benefit of the doubt. If you are a complete moron I can't help you. If you are an ignoramus I suggest you look at people who are Christians who are jailed under UN laws in Europe for talking about abortion and homosexuality. Anyways, that ol' Bible thumper pounded us today.
  14. Amazing against the Fish. Warner threw for 180 yards in the first quarter with 2 TDs. I don't think their D is that great, but their O is pretty tough. Warner is that good. Our best chance is to run blitzes at him and double Fitz.
  15. At least you admit you are a homer. I'm a realist. I never said the Bills don't have a plan either if they don't sign Evans. What I said is that I don't like the signing for that kind of money. Evans is on course for 56 receptions. Sure he might have over 1,000 yards, but that isn't how this offense is made to run.
  16. No clown, I was extremely happy we didn't pay Clements or Winfield. I don't fall into the resign him now club. Evans is great, but not at his salary. If he was an elite game-changing #1 pay him. He's not yet, but may be with better QBing, but even Steve Smith was extremely good without Delhomme and Evans hasn't proved he is a true #1 that gets first downs and gets open in all positions. He's a deep threat, which is great, but not for top 3 money in the NFL. When he averages 90-95+ receptions, 6 TDs+, and 1200 yards that's what will make him worth that kind of money. The stat line 6 receptions for 80 yards isn't sexy but it's what keeps the O on the field and spreads out the D. He's not worth that contract and stand by taking a guy like Roy Williams in the off-season than Lee Evans unless Evans proves he can consistently get first downs and go over the middle. I'm not saying he's not good, but I don't see that kind of money for a deep threat. Here are some things I believe true #1 should do that is worth that money: -Catch over the middle and keep Ds honest -Allow jump balls a chance of being caught with body positioning -Break a screen for a long run once in a while Lee so far as is a one trick pony who does catch curls but never breaks one after the catch, and his only trick is being fast enough with good routes. Sorry, I'm not impressed enough to give him top 3 money.
  17. So you're ok with freedom of speech as long as it doesn't apply to God. Got it and love the consistency of libs. It's truly pathetic when libs blast what they call theocracy as it "prevents" freedom of speech, but the moment there is freedom of speech they resent everything as being shoved or rammed down their throats that they disagree with. Anyways, expect Warner to be a big threat unless we throw some great blitz packages at the guy and get him early. I've always admired him and he probably is the best good guy in the NFL. He sent a friend of mine, a D-II QB, a response to his letter with a personally hand-written letter telling him to try everyday and gave him an autographed jersey to inspire him just because my friend wrote he was his inspiration. The guy is someone we should all celebrate in the league, but alas secularists hate his "God-thing" so he should be bashed. Maybe your blind hatred should make you respect such people who are typically the best examples in a screwed up league.
  18. Of course not. Having to soak up huge salaries has no influence on signing or extending other players.
  19. Giants had the 4th worst record the year before and they were 5-4 when Warner was benched correct, and ended the year 6-10. That means they won 1 game over the next 7 games. Eli was 1-7 as a starter. I know they were looking at the future, but my POINT was that with Warner they were BETTER that year. That started Eli because he was #1 overall. The same thing happened on many other teams and it has no reflection on the play of the QB, which was my point. I almost wonder how you miss the obvious.
  20. We could have $50 oil without the bailout. Expect $150-200 next year. Pelosi and Bush sold as a bad bill of goods. Protecting their buddies with deep pockets is so American.
  21. He was playing with a bad thumb for 2 years. His stats the year before bare this out in He wasn't beat out as much as he was injured. When he started for the Giants they were the worst team in football and he still had a 86.5 rating. Of course facts suck when Manning had a 55.4 rating but was started. You should at least grasp the issue before making the Bulger argument.
  22. 1st rounders are given more credit than they are worth. They are started or push to start even if they aren't as good. This happens all the time. If you aren't aware of this you should be.
  23. Tell me that when Stroud, Edwards, Greer, and Peters wants to get paid and we don't have the money.
  24. I see your point, but that's just timing. His last throw to Lee didn't require that much of a slow-down, and it's typical even with JP-like arm-strength that you slow down if you remember some of the bombs. It's rare you see an all-out burst and an perfectly timed ball.
  25. Bull to the crap. I watched him play 3 of his games along with Bills games and he is playing fantastic. I can't think of 10 players I would want over him. If the guy had any bit of a running game his efficiency would be through the roof. His touch and arm strength is incredible, even right now. I just hope he throws a few picks this week and we win, otherwise he's a one man wrecking crew with a little time. If the WRs made that team so great tell me how Leinart looked when he started.
