If he was a difference maker he wouldn't be clamouring for him. Because he does next to nothing of course he wants help.
-
Who would you rather have: Evans or Boldin? Money is similar, the difference is one is a bona fide #1 and the other is a #2 or 1b type receiver who is rather one-dimensional. I would pay that in a heartbeat. I watch the Cardinal all the time. The guy never "disappears" in games a la Evans.

-Destroys the natural law -Destroys the most major purpose of marriage which is the stability of the PARENTS to raise children -Forces their beliefs, which are unnatural, on others through coercion That's the short list. Here's a better question, why are they trying to usurp a once sacred institution and steal the language when they know full well they can call it whatever they want. The opposition to my statement usually runs that because marriage doesn't function accordingly therefore marriage should mean anything you want it to with 2 consenting individuals. If true why not apply this to incest and underage relationships as well. I mean who can define the age of adulthood right and consent? The destruction of marriage and family values are clearly seen in society. I mean why not push absolute anarchy while we are at it under the pretense of liberty. With the eradication of reason found in the majority of people there is no grounds to have any laws or groundwork under subjectivist thinking.

Yes. Because it's against the natural law to have sexual relations. Because people deny the natural law, which is the same thing as denying sunlight, people can't understand the outrage of breaking the natural law. Not love, but sexual acts. Faggot H (If you don't like that, stop ridiculing religious figures) And then you woke up. That's the homosexual lie perpetrated on other people. Sexuality is not neutral like discussions on neutrons or gravity. Sexuality, especially in a culture which is devoid of intelligence generally speaking, is an extremely delicate discussion. Throw in the cultural issues of then using the gov't to enforce these beliefs on others or be sued for discrimination and VOILA it's not just about Adam and Steve, but other people. An evangelical couple was sued by a homosexual who would not be their photographers at their "wedding". Guess what? The state forced them to work with the couple. Schools are having "diversity" days, colleges have entire offices funded by the state for diversity. You are a moron.
-
That's because you've lost your mind. It makes apathy more understandable.

Suspend all state colleges for two years
StupidNation replied to RLflutie7's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Unless you have you have no right to say that, and even if you did as a vet you are saying that every man and woman should spend 2 years? Based on what? I don't mind you giving your beliefs, but I have yet to see a reason why they should if these things can be done better voluntarily. Remember what Jefferson said about standing armies. -
Republican Tea Bagging is sweeping the nation!
StupidNation replied to Bad Lieutenant's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
What most of you do not know is these are mostly from the libertarian mindset and former Ron Paul supporters. They had a tea party before the last election so the idea that this is "all of a sudden" is lame. The difference is that now there is more outrage because of the new president, but the core of these groups are Ron Paul people, and like minded friends of liberty, who protested the last administration in case anyone forgets. The sad thing is groups like CNN are making this a FOX special, when it never was, and now that FOX is trying to capitalize on it the other media stations are pouncing on it. The media is so biased it's ridiculous. -
Liberals Need to Take a Lesson

You realize it's Congress that proposes the bills right? Actually the Fed and the Treasury have more power than Congress and the President on the economy and they aren't elected. -

So because you disagree they are obviously morons in your pea-brain. Genius... If you are trying to paint people using ad hominems try to at least give a reasoned refutation once in a while, which I know might cause you brain-damage to actually think outside of grammar and spelling. As a matter of fact your fixation on spelling and grammar shows me your mental state. You can't make a point worth explaining so you criticize in the hopes no one discovers how lame your thoughts really are. I've yet to see you genuinely refute anyone's statements, but solely use ridicule. As Demonthenes said during the fall of Grecian thought: "Ridicule is the last refuge for the scoundrel." Blzrul, whom I don't agree with ideologically on many issues, has answered your stupidity. -
Liberals Need to Take a Lesson
StupidNation replied to BillsNYC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I've yet to hear how that statement is wrong. If he wants the policies of a government to fail instead of the loss of liberties I see nothing wrong with that. Didn't you mention Hitler before? Would it be appropriate to say, if you lived circa 1937, you want him to fail? Not because you want the country to fail, but because you want the policies he plans on enacting on Americans to fail. Since you used the big "H" as your previous analogy I feel right in using the big "H" myself. Edit: In all fairness though Rush wasn't critical enough on Bush's big spending. He brought it up, but never forcefully. He should have wished for previous administration to fail economically instead of propping up financial markets through inflation. -
He's very good in coverage? Can you point out how that's possible? He is constantly picked on by O-coordinators for a reason. Go watch the games, he's smoked time and time again.

I'd like to re-ask a question that no pro-Whitner has dared to answer. If we cut him and his huge salary can someone tell me what we would lose defensively? Our team played just as good without him in the lineup. That's the definition of a non-factor, non-impact player. Those guys are worth maybe a $1 mil a year and no one pays any attention to them except when they screw up, and yet that's exactly the player Whitner is. If our defense is not bolstered by his presence why is he even getting paid that money? For an example of how a very good player changes the game at safety look at Polamalu and Reed.
-
And how did that stop him from playing in coverage for the past 3 years?

Good points. -
I'm sure you believe that utter non-sense. You cannot separate economic teaching in vacuums and extrapolate based on a vacuum. Economic beliefs are always connected to humanity and one cannot deny principles of humanity just because it doesn't fit in their world-view. You cannot extrapolate anything you want divorced from the principles it rests, namely people. Free-market capitalism is probably the best economic system in a democratic republic, and any derivation harmful. The economy should be tied to liberty and basic human rights. Socialism undermines those rights and liberties and is therefore always wrong. How one can defend the view that socialism can be good is beyond logical discussion. We haven't had a true free-market in a long-time, but it was the system that brought the country the most amount of capital and wealth. It was liberty that made this country great, not money. The money and capital were a result in liberty and great resources that exist here in this country.

I'd rather have Edwards than Cutler
StupidNation replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brandon Marshall = Lee Evans+Roscoe+Hardy Yes, they have better weapons. I'm willing to say Royal > Evans. Royal goes over the middle, Lee doesn't. The guy averaged more catches, more 1st downs, more yards per game, and was a rookie and only upside at this point. Lee has better hands thant Marshall and Royal. Yes, Cutler had much better weapons. -
If the new LT gives up 11 sacks and allowed some forced fumbles let's bring this conversation up again. Tell me, what did Peters do last year that makes him worth so much? He wasn't good last year, he had 1 good year.

Rumor: Cushing and Matthews test positive for steroids?
StupidNation replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you joking? You know that a very few of them don't juice. They are all on the stuff. It's when they get caught that's the problem. What makes this funny to me is how people frown on baseball for roids, and those guy are tiny to college and NFL players, and people don't see the connection. Do you really think players just genetically got bigger since the 70's? -
Who is Cutler going to throw the ball to???
StupidNation replied to BWRiley585's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They have a young guy named Lloyd who looks extremely good but was injured. He can burn CBs consistently. -
Obama seeks ability to seize businesses
StupidNation replied to Fingon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The only problem with that model, and you know this, is that eventually someone is going to have to pay the bill. The poor just won't be poor, but decimated, starving, and dying. By helping the "poor" the whole system will end up killing them off. -
You have no idea how government works. Earmarks are good, not bad. The budget is the budget is the budget. Either the elected official goes to represent those who elect him to get money back in his area or he is not representing them in the budget. The real issue is the budget, not discretionary spending and earmarks. Only an idiot would think that earmarks are bad. Either it's appropriated by elected officials with more control of local gov't, or it goes to the executive branch, which was never the point of a Constitution Republic. Drop all issues of "pork" and "earmarks"... does the budget go down if there aren't any of those? Go look it up.

When Bush Said it, it was Leading by Fear
StupidNation replied to Chef Jim's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So when the other side continues those same policies it's ok and uses the same words there is no problem? I love this climate in politics. Anyone who does not see the hypocrisy in their positions is amazing to me. Looks like those "repigs" look like Dems, but blzrul doesn't see the problem. We have only one statesman who is not a politician in the House and people are so freaking stupid they don't know one when they see one. There has been one only one consistent person who has voted on all these issues, look him up, his name is Ron Paul. -
I bet if you did hair samples it would be close to 90%, maybe more. This is a non-issue to me. So many athletes piss and moan about 210 lb baseball players with 10-15% body fat, that would be a safety in the NFL who's alot trimmer.

You just don't get it do you? You like Peter Schiff but this is ridiculous? The guy is fantastic, and also correct.
