  1. Agreed, based on tonight's performance, there is some hope for us long-suffering Bills fans. However, I wonder if CJ Spiller's TD run benefitted from some sloppy tackling.
  2. I have to agree, but I can't shake this nagging feeling of why no one in Green Bay saw what Brohm has to offer.
  3. So what's the verdict on Chan in week 2 -- I thought he had the team ready to play
  4. I know there are only three minutes left in the game and it's scrubs against scrubs, but I like what I see
  5. A missed opportunity to bottle up the Colts deep
  6. Am I missing something, or is Simpson playing himself off the team?
  7. Based on the first half, I'm pleased with what I've seen: an improvement over last week.Granted the Bills set a low bar in that regard, but it is encouraging to see progress. If they can show more improvement next week and the week after, then perhaps there is reason for optimism in Bills Nation.
  8. Wow -- they picked up the blitz, got a nice reception. Jees, you'd think we were watching a goo ... aw never mind I don't want to get ahead of myself.
  9. Oh, in that case, I can get started on the weekend. Thanks for the heads up
  10. Brohm's first play was inauspicious
  11. Can't get a good handle on Wood's performance (small laptop screen) -- any thoughts on how he's doing?
  12. I know I'm not drunk - yet - but what was that pass all about?
  13. Guess Spiller is human after all!
  14. I understand that the starting O-line didn't play together last week, but it still looks pretty underwhelming. And Trent Edwards can't make up for the lack of protection. Manning, however, looks like he doesn't need any more preseason snaps.
  15. Got the pizza place on speed dial. Wine's plenty cold. Hoping Justintv works tonight. If it doesn't, I'll switch to the Pittsburgh Pirates and watch them march toward a 19th consecutive losing season. Yes I'm a fan of the Bills, Sabres and Pirates. What a sports trifecta. If I can't snare an internet feed, I'll just wait till NFL network shows the game at 11. By then I should be drunk enough not to care.
  16. Do you know any of this for a fact? Do you know for a fact that the Basketball Hall of Fame reviews speeches in advance to ensure that the speech is completely factual and not simply spin from some horny jerk who likes to drill underage girls? When I first saw this stupic F***ing excuse for a thread, I sent an email to the basketball hall of fame, asking if they review inductees' speeches for accuracy. I'm still waiting for a respsonse. Granted I'm a nobody and the basketball hall of fame can't be bothered responding to a request from a nobody, but if I were a betting man I'd say that inductees can say any freaking thing they want.
  17. Well, what do you know. Other teams screw up their first-round draft picks, too. Jeez, you'd a thunk that the Bills are the only team to ever do that.
  18. Based on their performance in the first game, I wouldn't be so sure of that
  19. In that Washington DC market, former "heroes" of the team with the racist nickname are treated like gods and actually make a lucrative career out of being "former" ***skins." Sonny Jurgeson, John Riggins. Rick "Doc" Walker, and Sam Huff are all over the local radio and TV stations, either as announcers or "experts." The idolatry makes one want to puke. As for Joe "motor mouth? Thiesiman, I can't say this story is 100% accurate, but the word around the DC area is that when Theisman started college, his last name was pronounced "Theesman." At some point in his college career, when people started to think he was good or something, he started pronouncing his last name "Thighs-man" so that it would rhyme with "Heisman." That tells you a lot about the man. He's slimy. Always was, and always will be.
  20. I thought he was talking about Red
