Based on the first half, I'm pleased with what I've seen: an improvement over last week.Granted the Bills set a low bar in that regard, but it is encouraging to see progress. If they can show more improvement next week and the week after, then perhaps there is reason for optimism in Bills Nation.

I understand that the starting O-line didn't play together last week, but it still looks pretty underwhelming. And Trent Edwards can't make up for the lack of protection. Manning, however, looks like he doesn't need any more preseason snaps.

Got the pizza place on speed dial. Wine's plenty cold. Hoping Justintv works tonight. If it doesn't, I'll switch to the Pittsburgh Pirates and watch them march toward a 19th consecutive losing season. Yes I'm a fan of the Bills, Sabres and Pirates. What a sports trifecta. If I can't snare an internet feed, I'll just wait till NFL network shows the game at 11. By then I should be drunk enough not to care.
