I'm not sure I understand where you're going with the "Saint Cowher" reference. But from what I can tell, Cowher didn't take the job himself. He pointed to someone else. That tells me that Cowher was smart enough to stay away from the Bills. And the point of my post was that no coach or GM with any f*****g brains or self-respect would accept a job with this franchise. Thanks for the laugh.

If Gailey was smart, he would be coaching a real team instead of being lucky to latch on to the Bills.

The point is not to hire someone who is as bad as, or worse than, the current regime. The point is to hire someone who will make the team better. And under the current circumstances, the Bills aren't going to find anyone who will take that risk and who will be able to make the team better. They can fire the whole f***ing organization as far as I'm concerned, but nothing will change. The results will be the same because no one worth his salt will sign on with this franchise.

And who's going to step into their shoes? Truthfully, if Ralph fired these clowns, can you name any self-respecting coach or GM who would accept a job with a team that has such an uncertain future as the Bills? Being a fan of this team is like being in the movie "Groundhog Day." Every off-season we get our hopes up, and every season, the radio turns on and we hear Sonny & Cher singing "I got You, Babe."

Back in the 70s, when the Bills really sucked instead of just sucking, one of the Buffalo newspaper columnists would refer to the last game of the season as the "run for the bus" game -- meaning the players couldn't wait to get off the field and out of town. I'm seeing a lot of "run-for-the-bus" attitude in this game.
