  1. I know Streeter is old but to me he has really looked the part. I actually think with the TE speed we have our Receiving corp. is not the weakness the national media perceives. Steeter was sharp with the ones on Thursday. Crisp routes and really good hands. He was completely off my radar as a good receiver before the game but he looks like a true NFL receiver. Good number 3/slot. I think it's 7 they keep: 1. KB 2. Kerley 3. Streeter 4. Coleman 5. Zay Jones 6. Holmes 7 or 8 McCloud ( returner or PS) 7 or 8 Reilly (returner or PS)
  2. 100% dad and mom went to UB in the early 70's and got hooked on the Bills. I was born in 75'. We watched every game every year. Listened on the radio if the broadcast was not carried in Utica. As a very young fan my first memories are of the 1980 and 81 teams. I remember 79' vaguely but Ferguson was great those two years. I will always feel like 1980 in SD could have been different if Fergy didn't sprain his ankle. I think we would have beaten the Raiders in Buffalo as we did 10 years later. I love the irony in that though. Dad and I have suffered through all the ups and downs ever since (like the rest of you?). To me as long and difficult as the drought was 1984 and 1985 were worse. Those two years were rock bottom. Dad and I listen to every game as none were televised in Albany the market we had moved to. So yes my Dad is the reason I'm a Bills fan. Happy Father's Day to all of you dads on TSW.
  3. James Lofton, Lee Evans and Frank Lewis are definitely also worthy of mention at WR. I also think Ben Williams and Phil Hansen make my team over Jerry Hughes and Earl Edwards at DE, Bryce Paul over London Fletcher at LB, Darrick Burroughs over Nate Odomes and Keith Mckeller over Charles Clay, Jay Riemersma honorable mention and Steve Christie as the kicker.
  4. I can get on board with him being like Frank Reich. Just as long as he is not Joe Dufek lmao
  5. It's funny how polarized the opinions of Nate Dogg are. I actually think he has potential to be a Fitzpatrick type QB. Could he win the gig for a year? I think for sure he has that potential. When Josh Allen hits his stride though he will be the Bills QB for a long time. His talent level is just so much higher than these other QB's. Elite QB athleticism doesn't even do him justice. He is finally our replacement for Kelly. We just need to develop him correctly. Where is the USFL when you need it?
  6. This Defense has pontential to be stifling like the 1999 unit. It is quite ironic because the offense could face similar challenges as well. I really am hopeful that WR talent is addressed and a couple more vets are brought in. I also think that you could see Logan Thomas and Kelvin Benjamin at WR with Clay at TE to create some insane size mismatches. Logan can run like a WR. Use him like we used to use Mckeller in the glory days.
  7. Josh Allen's future Frank Reich? He fits the mould and looks like a similar skill set. That said he doesn't drive of his back foot as much as I would like to see and his footwork looks better on the run than in the pocket. Who know what it would look like in real time with a serious pass rush. Still good for the camp and a nice live arm!
  8. In fact where are the Mods because I think this thread is disrespectful... just sayin'
  9. Wow, I didn't know you were on Russ. I would think ripping your former boss and his wife on this forum would be beneath you. Are you stirring the pot just to get some kind of reaction? For the first time in 25 years this franchise is going somewhere and it is because Kim and Terry are great people and they also trust the process. With the drought broken and a great QB prospect drafted I for one am all in! Stop the negative parade and go away if you can't see the good things. And Russ don't be a Malcontent please just go softly into that good night. Take a page from Matt Lauer's book a disappear?
  10. He was lights out in Wyomings Bowl game and even better in the senior bowl. He has maybe the best arm ever. He will be fine.
  11. So the key to muscle memory is actually slow methodical technical reps. If practice is done in this manor a chemical is released from the brain that will retrain and program the muscle tissue. In short the right training can correct muscle memory issues. As a musician many of the same concepts apply as incorrect practice habits and technique errors are corrected at the collegiate level on almost every instrument and this type of muscle memory retraining is part of the "craft". Some may argue that the concept and context are different but in reality human physiology would dictate that muscle memory is indeed just that regardless of context. Therefore training in the aforementioned manor should and most likely would yield the desired results. In conclusion slow methodical training could indeed correct Josh Allen's technical deficiencies. Results would yield the drafts most talented QB prospect based on raw athletic ability and capability. This would indicate that sheer technical ability and ceiling alone make Allen the best prospect. This doesn't even address intellect and with a wonderlic score of 37 obviously he is far beyond average In this area as well. Put it all together and you have to see that Allen is the future star QB in this draft.
  12. IDK but if he does Elway will go after him to be a Bronco for sure? Fair enough but did you watch the senior bowl?
  13. Allen is the only QB worth his salt in this draft. Unpopular opinion perhaps but he has a once in a generation talent. He is Elway like.
  14. He is surely a good chess player? 5 moves ahead well the others live in the moments.
  15. Blatant defensive holding and PI on separate plays and they were completely ignored by the officials.
  16. How good was the Bills "D" in Jax? I mean it would seem Shady's anger after the game is even more justified now. If the Jags can go on a run like this we could have too. Even marginal pass Offense might have gotten the Bills to the dance. These are the most surprising AFC playoffs in a long time.
  17. Just wow? No words...
  18. Big Ben = Tyrod Taylor?
  19. Fournette may run for 200 yds
  20. Making me realize how well our D played last week?
  21. This is the only post here that really make sense. Taylor is not the QB we need but he actually has a winning record as our starter he is 23-21. O'Leary reminds me of Pete Metzalars who was an underrated weapon for Kelly back in the day.
  22. Dude you are out of your mind.. and I think Peterman will develop. We would have been 7-9 at best if we went with Peterman after the Chargers game. Tyrod is what he is not good enough but Mobile enough to do some special things. Peterman would have thrown 2 picks today and the game wouldn't have been within grasp at the end.
  23. If that is what it comes down to Hackett is no Ali and we definitely win that battle. Frazier defeats Hackett TKO in the 4th?
