  1. McDermott/Frazier = Walt Corey
  2. Looks a lot more controlled today. I'm am starting to believe McKenzie, Foster and Jones are reasonable receivers.
  3. His legs are an amazing red zone weapon!
  4. Yeah with both of our definitely changes things...
  5. He gets an interview with the victory yesterday...
  6. I just rewatched the 1989 Bills - Browns playoff game. This was the moment the K-Gun became devastating. In loss the team grew immensely. These moments are always incremental. These last 3 games Allen needs to exhibit a couple aha moments every week and next year the offense will be dangerous. Last week I believe the screen game started to become a factor against an underrated Jets defense last week. If Allen can utilize Shady and Murphy the way Kelly used Thurman and Harmon he could get to the 300 yd mark and open both the deep game and the run game. I think this is the key to the next phase of his development. He may in fact be able to use his scrambling ability to get Shady some space in the screen game. Prediction: 25-39 312 yds 3Tds 1 int 55 yds rushing 1 Td Bills win 31-27 Shady 8 carries for 31 yds 6 receptions for 56 yds 1 Td Shady's out hmmm.. I don't think Ivory can serve the same role in the screen game.
  7. Just a quick fair question... Are you old enough to have lived through the 1990's Bills? Or are you posting from a modern perspective watching historical footage? It was the most elite roster ever assembled to that point. That is why the four super bowl losses are even more painful and absurd. Trust me... if you lived it you know. If you are younger than 35 you can't know. Sorry
  8. I remember very well and he was an excellent playoff QB. The Stats are skewed by 3 tremendously bad Super Bowls, the Pittsburgh game in 95' and Jacksonville in 96'. If you look at his stats without those games his Stats are great. My take away watching 20 plus years removed is Andre Reed was impossible to cover and Marino and Kelly could both drop the ball on a dime. These teams under 1990's rules would crush today's teams. The toughness was so much greater. I will say Kelly knew how to lay an egg at the worst times though...
  9. I can buy this! Green would be an outstanding addition. I think Stephon Diggs may also be an option and would be a better fit with Allen. My reasoning is that Diggs is better at improvising once the initial route breaks down. With Allen's mobility a receiver with Diggs skill set could make him nearly unstoppable. He would come at a heavy price but I think we could afford it.
  10. This indeed is an excellent response to Allen's detractors. Even as a rookie with so much room for improvement his escapability and will to win keeps this team in games when the face two opponents. Opponent one being the team the face and two being the Zebras. Allen is an athletic freak who can win games on sheer will. He will be up there with Kelly when all is said and done. I have never heard a team in our position be so in support of a young QB. The team absolutely loves playing with him because they know... We as fans should embrace it and know that in a year it will be much better than it is now.
  11. I’ll try and check them out at some point. I am coming from Amsterdam so Saratoga is not always possible.
  12. Chicago is the 4th best and could be number one by the time the playoffs start! There Defense is ridiculous.
  13. A good friend of mine runs the Bills Nation Saratoga at Harvey's! It is right downtown and a great time. Good beer and excellent food.
  14. Croom is the best WR we have and he's a TE?It's not good maybe they should move KB to TE and croom to WR. They might get some mismatches with coverage????????????(Obligatory McDermott clap lol)
  15. I am not blaming the officiating for the loss. This years edition of the Bills is not very good. It is just clear that there is an agenda and has been since "the illegal forward pass". I am not sure if it relates back to the 1990's success and how angry people got that we kept getting back to the dance or if it's a bias based on the thought that we are just a bad football team so we should not get any breaks. I just found it very interesting that a entirely new officiating crew didn't seem to get the memo. I watched the same plays that go uncalled game in and game out actually get called against Minnesota. It was quite eye-opening and very few people have mentioned it. Yes good teams win in spite of the officiating but when it's really close one call can be the difference.
  16. A very interesting side topic is the clear and ever present anti-Bills BS officiating from the majority of experienced NFL crews. However. In the Minnesota game it would seem the tables were flipped from the usual script with the majority of penalties and bad ones being called against Minnesota, It was almost like we had Bizzaro world officials (?). In the Greenbay game it all came crashing down with at least 10 holding penalties uncalled against the GB Oline and every picky penalty called against the Bills. This in conjunction with a very young and mediocre team was of course receipe for disaster and yet again a reason Josh Allen should be sitting for a year. Thoughts?
  17. Love this by btw! This post is too fun for TSW but it is great to be on the other side of the mountain.
  18. I'm so pissed. Dalton is my second QB and I kept him on the bench?I thought the Ravens "D" was going to shut him down. Now I'm stuck with Watson he better crush it.
  19. Really??? Compare them to the Skeletor lead teams? Playoffs and breaking the drought was mission number one. We will be at least 8-8 this year with a lot to build on.
  20. Maybe today was a thank you present to make Cincy look like they are going to be good this year. I think McDerrmot already had Nate pencilled in for day one and it was a good way to "show" Allen isn't ready. After all they got us in the playoffs last year. The game was meaningless and clearly our coaches didn't treat it like a "gameplanned" dress rehearsal. I'm mean Preseason is after all preseason but it's nice to show love to a City that help us out last year.
  21. Perhaps this was a way to give back to the good people of Cincinnati after all the got us in the tourney last year?
  22. I am also a lifelong Bills fan and remember watching Ferguson to Jerry Butler and Joe Cribbs etc... I remember how dark 84' and 85' were. Any Bills fan is a Friend so I reach out with this friendly reminder. ITS THE PRESEASON!!!!!!! Take it all with a grain of salt. We looked pathetic in the preseason during the Marv Levy era. I trust the process as it far exceeded my excpectations last year.
  23. Out of your mind.... Darnold will be a bust. It just the nature of the Jesters. My brother in law is a huge fan an continuously points the failures of their organization to me.
  24. Dude you are out of your mind ? lol. He will be outstanding and this just in maybe Peterman is alright too. The bench is where they want him this year. No doubt in my mind the game plan was vanilla and a set up to make Nate the starter.
