Look at it this way. Jauron's staying, regardless. Alzheimer Ralph doesn't even know what day it is anymore. And the injuries can yet again be blamed for the nosedive, so Dickie is here to stay, until the Bills pack it up for good in two years and become the Toronto Thundercats or some sh--.

Two more wins is about right for this coaching staff.

Turk Schonert Needs Some Blame Here
TheChimp replied to TheChimp's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BOTH Jackson and Lynch, when they alternated every other down or every few downs, all season long, have made each other more productive. They give the defense something different to look at, whatever it is, the results are obvious if you just watch the game films when they are both in there. Turk didn't do that until the Third Quarter. That's what my point is. I never said bench anyone, not even Trent. You guys gotta learn how to read what is said and not put words in my mouth. I'm very good at saying exactly what I mean. -
Lynch failed to center the ball for the final kick

And from 42, that very kick would have made it thru. -

Anyone remember that movie with the Martian who didn't understand sarcasm? Yeah, he was annoying. -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
TheChimp replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Jauron, franchise killer. Now that is perfect. Seems perfect for an owner who is trying to eek his way out of Buffalo without a bounty on his or his family's heads. Kill the fan base and make everybody wish they'd go away, so when they DO, you don't have as much rage directed at your fat ugly, and very RICH, children. Ralph might be smarter than I give him credit for. 2. Until WE die? How about until the Bills franchise dies and becomes the Toronto Thundercats or some sh--? You still gonna bleed for them then? 3. Freddie Jackson. When he is allowed to play, the Bills are twice the offensive threat they are without him. Yet we haven't seen him in four weeks, until late in the Third last night, when, oh hey, he got us back into the game in like two runs. All this talk of benching Trent, throwing the O-Line under the bus (guilty) all falls away when you look at what the Bills look like with Freddie IN there, and what they look like without him in there. Yeah, he fumbled. But Trent probably wouldn't have been under so much pressure to throw had he had Freddie in the backfield from the start of the game. The whole complexion woulda been different. The proof is in the game film. Night and Day, Freddie and no Freddie. -
One name, Freddie Jackson. Sitting there on the sidelines for a full half, coming out for kickoff returns and doing a fine, fine job, but missing his chance to do what he EVENTUALLY got to do. I don't know about the rest of you, but it has been WEEKS that I have been scratching my head, wondering why Turk gave up on Freddie Jackson in the backfield. He opened the season CLEARLY Lynch's superior when it comes to finding holes and getting yards that Lynch simply hasn't been getting. He even led the team in YAC, didn't he, at some point? And Freddies's success ALWAYS led to the success of Lynch. Look back and watch the films. Then Turk just shelved him, and went with a Steve Fairchild-like game plan, to boot, and I was literally SCREAMING for Jackson to be used last night by the time he actually was....and whaddaya know, Jackson's entrance was exactly what sparked the team back into life. I can only imagine what the game would have looked like had Trent had THIS guy running routes and grabbing the rock from the opening drive, if he'd have thrown those two bad picks. The proof is in the pudding. The game BEFORE Jackson was allowed to carry the ball, and the game AFTER Jackson was allowed to carry the ball. And looking back on our three losses before that, how often did Turk use Jackson in THOSE games? Hey Turk, fess up, Freddie boinked yer wife, right? Because, frankly, you had better come up with an excuse as to why you waited so long to use what has obviously been a Godsend to your offense this season. I'm only kidding, of course. I don't expect to hear anything even resembling a decent excuse from Turk, or DJ, or Levy or Modrak or Wilson, regarding the atrociuos misuse of talent in Buffalo that even stupid monkeys like me can see through. They never have been upfront and honest about their failings in the past. But it needed to be said, because it was the elephant in the room.

Edwards throwing Lindell under the bus?
TheChimp replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Post of the year, IMO. -
The guy never fails to enter into the conversation after these losses, as he always, always, plays a role in at least one or two boneheaded plays. When your coach's decisions have a direct, DIRECT, bearing on the end result of THIS many games......oh Hell, what's it matter? Alzheimer Ralph already locked the !@#$er in to another three years.

These two games caught my eye, in particular. Same coach. He trusted JP and not Trent. Weird, huh.

Only Buffalo Can Do This . . .

So it's not wrong to wish that Ralph would just die? I feel better now. -
Trent sucked donkey balls tonight, yes. Big whoop. He still fired a strike to Royal to the 30, and there was still a full minute to go. The fact that we had to watch Lindell kick it from the 30, three plays later, had nothing to do with Trent. Nothing.

Oh, they sure repeated it alright. At least 10 times in 60 seconds. Thanks, Bucs fan. That WAS classless of ESPN.

When the Bills actually turn it around for real

When the Bills finally turn it around, they'll be Toronto's team. -
Level-headed response to the game

BINGO -
Threads like this SEEM logical, when you look at the numbers. But the Bills were in a GREAT position to get inside the 20 yard line and kick the winner from chip shot range. Trent had just completed an amazing throw to Royal, and the team COULD have won, despite the four turnovers. The reason we didn't win was because the winds caught the ball almost immediately off of Lindell's foot (and remember, he was forced to kick it from the wrong hashmark for a right-footed kicker kicking into the swirling winds, because the last play went to the LEFT), and Lindell had to kick it from 47 yards away because, after the best pass of the night, the OC and HC decided not to trust Trent, or run a stunt, or SOMETHING to try and get ten, fifteen more yards. They had a full minute to do it. They chose to stop trying for more yards after Royal's catch. Period. It's loser football, and I was sick of it a year ago. Now I'm seething with hatred over it. I wish Ralph would just die already.

That's crap, Chef. He threw a perfect pass to Royal that very drive, so all you're doing is showing us that you're as backwards as Dickie. -

Yup. With the strong wind at their backs, from the correct hashmark. Bills? Wrong hashmark, 47 yards away into a strong wind. -
