  1. Maybin and TO better be everything we hope they are and more, because this group blows.
  2. He held the ball for like 30 seconds on his fumble, too.
  3. *contemplates canceling Sunday Ticket before it's too late*
  4. Exactly!!! They're just holding back.
  5. Wow, way to encourage feedback, there, SDS.
  6. Pure excitement isn't rehearsed. Jumping up and down, doing a backflip even, that can be looked at as pure excitement. What Leodis did bordered on spontaneous, so I won't judge him TOO harshly, although the sheer length of the chest beating and jawing caught my attention, that's for sure. If I were Jauron, I'd give him a teeny weeny talking to about it, and move on.
  7. So move on, you !@#$ing asshat. All you do is insult people for finding Vick's behavior reprehensible and unforgiveable, and in the process incite people to hate you, as well. Talk about a loser. Are you !@#$ing kidding me?
  8. Dude was awesome out there.
  9. Look, I don't know you, all I know is what you just disclosed about yourself. But !@#$ you.
  10. “I thought we caught them off guard again,” said Edwards in reference to the opponent. “I think we need to continue to do that to try and get ourselves into shape where we can run that during the regular season too. ” Edwards, however, downplayed his numbers. “I think those kind of lie,” he said of his perfect passing statistics. “There were a couple of sacks in there that I could’ve got rid of the ball and I could’ve taken a couple of incompletions to save those sack statistics. But I thought for the most part the O-line blocked well, the receivers were where they were supposed to be and we were pretty accurate with the football.”
  11. He certainly didn't deserve the player of the game honors, though. Anyone who picked him over Fitzpatrick for that honor obviously wasn't watching the game.
  12. That TD was Ko's fault, not Ellis', anyways.
  13. You know, Michael Vick could really turn this whole thing into a HUGE victory for animals by assisting the HSUS, ASPCA, and all the other humane organizations in their fight to end dogfighting. All he has to do is make PSAs and empassioned speeches at places like elementary, middle, and high schools, becoming a spearhead for public awareness campaigns, etc. The thing is, with all these morons out there already cowtowing to him, coddling him for "all that he's had to endure", and NOT talking about how utterly sickening he was behaving (and for God's sake the guy has KIDS), he might start to feel like he doesn't have to do any of that, and once again, a great opportunity for this society of ours to evolve and grow will just pass us all by. I'm glad he's back in the spotlight, as I said before. And I hope the heat goes UP on him for what he did and the animal rights people come out in STORM to protest.
  14. We're not talking about your sex life. Try not to go off on any more tangents.
  15. Effing great post. On a side note, hey Beerball, ever heard of the Humane Farming Association? Or the myriad other organizations like them? Or CKA (Controlled Atmosphere Killing)? There are PLENTY of people who recognize that eating meat does not at ALL have to mean condoning torturous treatment of the animals.
  16. No, you don't, you idiot. I love you humanocentric types. So stupid. Wanna prove you're an "advanced" species? Go build me a toaster.
  17. Yup, I was right. You're a dick.
  18. Took me three tries to find him.
  19. Philster and John Adams, for God's sake, you're on the same side, here. Both of you just wrote some of the most compelling posts. Don't let OJ ruin what is turning out to be quite an educational thread for people unfamiliar with what Vick was party to. And let me just add this. Michael Vick isn't alone. The dogfighting world, no doubt in my mind whatsoever, has dozens and dozens of other NFL personell just as involved as Vick was, and they are probably STILL doing it. I won't forgive that sick bastard until he does something to shine the spotlight on THEM and helps end this wholly inhuman practice, once and for all. Hell, I'm glad he's back. Too many people forgot about what he did already.
  20. Driving drunk is a stupid and selfish and utterly contemptuous decision, and if you end up hurting or killing someone in the process, you should basically forfeit your life, far as I'm concerned. But running a dogfighting ring is another animal entirely. To compare it with drunk driving is so ignorant it defies explanation. But I will try, anyway. Organizing and participating in ruthless, stomach turning bloodbaths on a daily basis, where the fighting dogs are starved and beaten daily, and then thrown stray cats and small dogs gotten from "Free To Good Home" ads in the paper to "practice on", and then placed into dark, dank, smelly rings to maul one another to death so greasy, inbred, impotent losers can gamble their rent money and cheer and drool on themselves while they watch, well, that's the stuff of horror movies. Anyone who even for a second defends this type of behavior is either a serial killer or a Republican. Someone who claims to have so many rescued pets should understand the outrage people are displaying here. But perhaps you're just an animal collector and nothing more. Hey, don't sweat it. You're in good company. EDIT: Sorry, Huuuuge Bills, I failed to see your post. I'll leave my rant up for posterity sake, but suffice to say, DITTO.
